Welcome to the chaos of what season I’m posting for the time being. It could be summer, fall, or winter. While this is not technically winter, it might as well have been with the temps we experienced on this trip. Mornings and evenings were chilly — I’m talking ice on the tent. Unfortunately, we were unable to complete the full loop due to snow in the higher elevation portions but we made it about 12 miles in — about half way. I’m hoping we are able to comeback here next year and are able to do the full trail. Even with a slight change in plan, the experience was 10/10. 🚨Mountain photo barrage alert! 🚨 We spent the weekend playing in a beautiful mountain-y landscape and I took a billion photos so expect to see them trickle through my feed in the next week. We overnight winter camped on Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. It was beautifully warm and sunny during the day but freaking frigid overnight (-25 C).
