@ballaratmarathon time. Wanted to give the sub 3hr time a crack and at the end of lap 1, it was looking real good. Then I imploded ๐. Suddenly felt like I was going backwards and it became a battle with the wind, the head and a little niggle I thought Iโd gotten over. Great to have support on the course and that last section coming down sturt streetโฆ.wow. Crowd was crazy - more of that please!!! Crossed the line with a time a bit more than Iโd hoped, but still the quickest Iโve ran that distance. Always be happy with a PB. Shout out to @connor_chatham. Ran his first half and well and truly achieved his goals (plus a bit more). Reward for effort. Our team finished last week on a high note, with some amazing opportunities on the horizon. @jerickrealty was able to secure his first Multi Million dollar client, and as his coach and Team Leader, I couldnโt be prouder of him! That amazing high, coincided with some adversity yesterday evening. While we were negotiating on behalf of our clients and about to secure the deal, an offer with better terms came in before we were able to close. Seeing this post from @motivmastery was fitting this morning, just as we thought we had reached the summit, we looked up and saw we had a little bit farther to go. It was a great learning experience for the both of us, and really solidified the relationship with our clients.
