I can almost guarantee that if you see me in my changing robe with wet hair I am "all dryrobe, no knickers", I mean, why wouldn't I be? I am not going to faff with knickers, or a bra for that matter, when I just want to get warm. Getting warm is a huge part of cold water therapy - and one that I cover in detail in my sessions - and underwear is just not conducive to getting dressed fast. This is for all the dryrobeaphopes out there! I’ve seen so much hate from people slating people for wearing these incorrectly 🙈 But in the pissing down rain they’re perfect! I’ve got an amazing Down and feather filled waterproof coat. It’s really heavy, and even though I stay dry, the coat gets soaked! So getting in the car afterwards is always fun and soggy! Plus it’s too nice to wear for dog walks! The Dryrobe just wipes clean! And my raincoat is too thin to keep me warm!! With Dryrobes, the water just drops off them seamlessly! They’re warm, and just perfect for all the shitty weather we’ve had and most importantly, staying warm and dry!! Here’s some other creations that aren’t used for their intended purpose that I bet you’re all using ‘wrongly’. Listerine was invented to clean floors and treat gonorrhea Corkscrews were made as bullet extractors Chainsaws to cut pelvic bones during childbirth Viagra to treat high blood pressure Ecstasy to give to cancer patients So if you’re popping pills, not pushing your babies out with chainsaws at the ready and not splashing your flaps with Listerine then you’re doing it all wrong!! 🤣 But seriously, get a grip people. If you’re bitching about someone wearing something waterproof to stay warm and dry because they’re not going swimming then you need to give your head a wobble. I did actually buy it for beach and camping in my van days, but it turns out it’s perfect for other things too!! Now I’m off out in the rain in my Dryrobe, to get some organic milk (because my non-homogenised milk isn’t coming until tomorrow with my Ocado shop), just about to get in my VW Transporter instead (I’m sure there’s some other stereotypes I could include too).
