When we left our sticks and bricks a year and a half ago to RV travel for a year we had to pare down, A LOT! There’s only so much space in a 24’ travel trailer, for 3 humans and 2 cats. Lila, like most kids wanted a souvenir from each place that was memorable but knew that space was limited. She decided to create her own travel wall (thank you Auntie @lisa_lea75 ). In May we had @artisticarborgardens out to trim trees, and cut down a 90’ plus Eucalyptus tree with damage. They cut the tree into smaller pieces and we kept them, unsure what to do with them, but for sure a project of some kind would make itself known. Earlier this week a family visiting for a farm tour asked if we’d be willing to donate some stumps to a preschool their youngest attends to set up a special seating area outside. Preschools are struggling to make it all work during #COVID19. It looks fantastic - they did a great job and we are thrilled to have contributed! What will they remember ✨ from their childhood? I ask myself this all the time. With so many countries, languages, foods 🥐, animals, flights, houses 🏠, it probably won’t be much of that stuff. They will see the world, but remember only pieces. I hope it is the feelings we have together. The inside jokes, the mishaps, the victories, the traditions. Basically, the simple things. Another moving day!!! . . Well, we left our beautiful shaded jungle spot at the RV park to stay at a friends house today. I’m kind of obsessed with all the plants here and loved exploring the park we’ve been at, BUT, now we have a private pool in the back yard and a sweet 3 bedroom house to call home for the next month while we work on renovating the bus. . . Needless to say, the kids have spent more time in the pool than not since we’ve been at the house. They could not be any happier! But reassure us regularly that they also love the #buslife . We are so happy to be able to provide so many different experiences for them. Plus, we’ll be able to work some painting they wanted to do in their bunks! . . We’ve just finished visiting the 5th National Park in Utah and I’m not sure if I have a favorite, they all have something different to offer so it’s hard to compare them to each other. My favorite hike out of the 5 is Angels Landing at Zion, and I do think I have confirmed my 2nd favorite hike, Cohab Canyon in Capitol Reef. Great Basin National Park, for being one of the smallest you had so much to offer! 1st Junior Ranger badge in the books for this crazy adventure we’re one, and our first hike too. Funny how after 2 babies i am now in the best shape of my life, I lost all of the baby weight and then some and now working on toning up and building lean muscle. . Over the past 7 months I completed two rounds of our 80 day program and 2 weeks of our 3 week program. Now I’m taking it up several notches! . I never thought anyone could be in the best shape of their life after kids. I just thought after kids your body changes and it’s stuck like that specially after a lifetime of weight yo-yo ing. I was so so wrong! I truly gave this a shot and opened my heart and mind to the endless possibilities. . This is for everyone and the perfect solution for the busy person on the go. How many of us say : “no bubbles in the house” “not right now, I’m busy” “Don’t make a mess” Or we don’t take pictures of our kids with a messy house in the background or we work from our phones or check social media instead of playing, we loose our patience or scream at our children? I do all of those things regularly and feel so much guilt. This is real life; beautiful, hectic and hard. Parenting is the hardest most rewarding thing I’ve ever done and I want to shout out today to every mom who thinks everyone else’s has got it figured out. I sure don’t!
