This weekend, I was supposed to be in York soaking up some fun and creative new acroyoga moves at the @yorkshireacroconvention Instead, I got to enjoy quality time outdoors and a full variety of fantastic yoga with a joyful crew of new yoga teachers in training completing their final teaching assessments (congratulations to them again and well done!)! Plus, some of the Exeter Acroyoga community did indeed manage to get to York so I’ll still get to learn from them when they return! 😃 A win/win weekend!! Things to know when bicycling 🚴♀️the GTTSR in #glaciernationalpark - Usually you can start to bike the road around mid April when plowing starts - Currently, parking is only at Lake McDonald Lodge and the road is open just past The Loop (5.5 miles to Avalanche Creek where parking will soon be available. OH to tha EM to tha GEEEE, Big Bend National Park is AWESOME! These are scenes from Day 1 after we set up at Chisos Basin Campground inside the park when we went on our first venture: The Window Trail. Gahhhhhh! What a way to start off our visit to our 4th and last National Park on this trip. The scenery was crazy beautiful AND we spotted a black bear, one of approx 30-40 in the park. They were almost completely eradicated but came back with the advent of this protected land in 1944! I❤️Texas

A good combination! I am always searching for new ways to pair/nest different bits of gear. For today’s coffee I tried pairing my ultralight titanium water bottle and cup with my X-Boil. Although the bottle and cup nest nicely, I wasn’t able to get the cup to fit in the water bottle carrier because it was a bit too snug. However, by just inverting the cup and placing it on top of the water bottle I was able to create a compartment to not only store the windscreen, but also the stove and coffee sachet 👍. And now I’m psyching myself up to go and finish writing the final 2 ( maybe 3) chapters of Cursed In Hemlock Hollow— these HH books always kick my ass. I have 14 days to get this novel finished. What I really wanna do is go work in the garden and soak up the early spring we’re getting this year. One of many proboscis bats, aka Long-nosed bats (Rhynchonycteris naso), roosting on a branch overhanging the water in Costa Rica. The cuteness factor is very high with these tiny bats! These bats are small enough that they occasionally fall prey to large spiders.
