The Moon/Mars backup plan is great, but Earth is pretty dope too. We should...do what we can to protect and preserve it and stuff. I mean we have red rocks here too (pictured)! BUT not only is it Earth Day, it’s also the 23rd anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom (the GOAT theme park) and I cannot wait to get back over there. It's been a rollercoaster of life this past 2 weeks! Packing, unpacking, organizing, and everything else that comes with moving. We've officially moved into our house, but we've had a big hiccup with internet. Anyways the house was previously wired for DirectTV and we're getting another company. Well we had our boxes ready to go and tried setting it up and it said internet wasn't available so we got a new box which didn't work either. They came out to set everything up and that cable line is cut and both ports are being used by neighbors. Now, another company has to come in and inspect and then the internet people can install for our house. Ah, the crazy things of moving. (기린의 혀가 초록색인 것도 이 책을 통해서 처음 알았어요!!!) 저는 Handa가 친구를 생각해서 과일을 종류별로 잔뜩 머리에 이고 어떤 과일을 제일 좋아할까 생각하며 설레는 마음으로 Akeyo의 집으로 향하는 모습이 너무 예뻤습니다. 저는 운이 좋게도 Handa처럼 내 것을 아낌없이 나누어 주고 도와주고 싶은 친구가 있는데요. 이 친구를 알게된지 벌써 30년이 다 되어가네요. 같은 중학교, 고등학교, 대학교를 나와 결혼해서 아이도 낳은 지금까지도 근처 동네에서 같이 살고 서로 연락하고 만나는 친구가 있기에 너무 운이 좋다는 생각이 듭니다. 제가 힘든 고비가 있을 때마다 문제가 생길 때마다 그 고민들 다 들어주고 조용히 응원해주는 그 친구에게 정말로 고맙고 사랑한다는 말을 하고 싶은 날이네요! 왠지 나이가 들어 할머니가 되어도 같이 늙어갈 것 같은 친구야~고맙고 사랑한다~♡@eunhye0314 우리 아이도 그런 친구가 단 한명일 지라도 꼭 만나서 같이 잊을 수 없는 추억을 만들고 아낌없이 주고 받을 수 있는 사이가 되길 기도해 봅니다. 혹시 기회가 되신다면 Muriel Feelings와 Tom Feelings가 쓰고 그린 jambo means hello란 책을 추가로 읽어보시길 추천드립니다. When you see a Disney character for the first time in months 🥺❤️ . . . Seeing the characters on the boats was such a special touch added to the day. The first time we heard the music, we sprinted to the nearest bridge and saw some of our favorite characters, and it really made you feel welcomed back home. 😭In total I saw Daisy, Donald, Launchpad, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and the band. 😍 . . . One tip is to listen out for the music! Once you hear it, you need to run to the bridge quickly because they don’t stop. Also, if you hang around the Rivers of Light arena they all pass through there eventually 💕

JAMBO from Animal Kingdom 🦁 . . . Thanks to my best friend I have the chance to spend the day at Animal Kingdom! I’m sooooo happy to be here, I never would have thought that the last time I was here would be the last for months. . . . So far everything has been smooth. Everything is clearly marked and there’s hand sanitizer everywhere. They let us take our masks off on Kilimanjaro Safari because each row has a barrier over the seats. (Kinda weird at first but it was nice) . . . I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of the changes. Do you have a park reservation or preview booked?✨

One word I’d use to describe Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge? Peaceful 🙏🏻! ⁣ ⁣ (As long as you don’t mind the occasional drum circle 😉) This resort flies under the radar in my opinion! Jambo Rafiki! (Hello Friend!) This book is Uzuri! (This book is a beauty!) Practicing my new Swahili words. Just what I remembered from my language class, love it! We imagined that we would be traveling to Africa and going to make a word sharing quilt for our friends. This will help them know something about us, just as we know more about them after learning about the Swahili alphabet. There are 187 languages in our country, the Philippines 🇵🇭 ~~ 183 are living, 4 are extinct. That's a lot of languages, but not as many as on the African continent. Over 800 languages are spoken in #Africa and #Swahili is spoken in many parts of central and eastern Africa. The words may sound different, but we share the same meanings. Spent the day in animal kingdom, sadly the roller coaster was down but I got to ride flight of passage again and saw the newly rebranded UP inspired bird show which was cute. this was a relaxing day, I’m here a week so I’m not forcing myself with a full schedule.
