👁️ The Wallflower by Yamatonadeshiko Schichihenge 💄 A little dated by when it came out in both art style and writing but charming all the same. Though after getting through volume 1 I can pretty much see how the story is going to go and it looks like my ship isn’t the endgame, which is hurting my desire to continue. I’ve struggled through that issue before in series like Ouran High School Host Club but this one isn’t quite as good from the jump so I don’t know if I’ll prioritize continuing the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was one of those I saw the cover and title and thought it looked cute kind of buys. I had no idea what the story would be 😅 But it's super sweet! And the art being really pretty is a nice bonus~ Eve is a little girl who was abandoned in a forest and found by an ancient dragon who was at the tail end of his life. They spent 5 years together before the ancient dragon finally breathed it's last. Just as the Dragon's soul began to drift away, next thing he knew he was being dragged back! Eve created a new body for his soul to use so they could continue to stay together. Not wanting to leave to leave her alone again, the dragon sets out with her to find a human village so she might make a life of her own. I love the relationship Eve has with Snoozy (the name she gave the ancient dragon). It's so sweet but also fun to see them.act like parent and child. After the time skip, Eve is 10 years old and in that time Snoozy taught her ways of the Forrest and how to survive. And though she's pretty self sufficient, she can be pretty reckless and needs his protection from time to time. I also can't get over how they keep repeating you need cash, connections and constitution to live in human society 🤣 they're not wrong but I appreciate it as an ongoing joke. Delicious in Dungeon volumes 1-3 - I love the dungeon crawler fantasy sub-genre. This is that plus a cooking manga but they are cooking monster food rather than real food. It is super funny and doesn’t take itself too seriously a lot of the time but it also can get dark and serious too. So I think it has an interesting balance. Itachi’s light novel is technically not manga, but I feel like it still counts and is worthy of discussing. 🫶🏼 I had a blast reading the first part of Itachi’s story. Like many fans of the Naruto franchise, I’ve been eager to learn more about his devastating backstory that led him to make the choices that he did. Because let’s face it, he was a a selfless person that wanted to protect his younger brother and stayed loyal to his village until the very end. 😭🤧 The first volume primarily focuses on Itachi’s childhood years at the academy, and beginnings as a Genin/Chunin that lead to his entry into the ANBU at the end. We get a lot of more insight into Itachi’s personal feelings and motivations that guided him on his ninja path as a child. I think the most interesting part was getting a better understanding of the Uchiha Clan through young Itachi’s eyes. Let’s just say, I have mixed feelings about the clan now. Lol. I don’t know when I’ll be getting the second volume, but hopefully sometime this year. Après des jours de retard, j'ai enfin reçu le 7ème et dernier tome du Renard et le Petit Tanuki. 🦊❤️🦝 Un manga que j'ai découvert de la part d'un ami qui savait que ça pourrait me plaire avec cette relation amicale entre 2 animaux qui ne sont pas destinés à s'entendre. 🤩🔥 Le nom me rappelle également les fables de La fontaine : Le Renard et le Petit Tanuki. Ça pourrait être une œuvre de La Fontaine. 📖 J'ai un amour fou pour les renards et comment les auteurs les adaptent. Je vois souvent des œuvres montrant les renards comme des êtres sournois, très malins qui ont en vrai un cœur brisé, qui souffrent de quelque chose en eux. Et bien, Senzo le renard ne m'a pas déçu. Il reprend exactement ce principe. Dès le début, je savais que ce renard avait une souffrance en lui. C'est même très touchant que ce soit un tanuki qui l'aide. Je ne peux que vous conseiller de découvrir cette série. Je suis assez content d'avoir l'intégralité de la série. Alors oui, si le tome 1 n'est pas présent, c'est parce que je l'ai prêté à ma cousine. I mean, auch wenn noch nicht so viel passiert ist, sind dennoch einige Fragen offen, die man sich stellt. Jasper und Kai harmonieren wirklich so toll miteinander, auch wenn die Kommunikation etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt. Wer was leichtes und zum wohlfühlen sucht, hat mit dieser Reihe total ins Schwarze getroffen. 🥺 Band 01 war wirklich softer als soft, dennoch bin ich interessiert wie die Beiden sich entwickeln. Hab das Gefühl, dass der nächste Band für die Charaktere schmerzhaft sein wird und die Vergangenheit im Fokus liegt. Aber um was geht es eigentlich in " #Muted"? 🤔 'Jasper arbeitet in einer Bibliothek. Dort fällt ihm ein Junge auf, der viel liest... aber mit niemandem spricht. Nessuna illusione si concretizza in realtà"🎤 Mima è una cantante j-pop di 21 anni sulla cresta dell'onda, ma la sua decisione di abbandonare il mondo della musica per diventare attrice viene accolta male dai suoi fan. (animeclick.it) Questo è stato il mio primo film di Satoshi Kon e ho atteso proprio la sua proiezione al cinema per iniziare a conoscere questo regista. Il film si può dividere in due parti: la prima è lineare, realistica, lenta e semplice da seguire, mentre la seconda è veloce, surreale, confusionaria e complessa. Un evento in particolare segna il passaggio alla seconda parte. Già nella prima parte, in una finta scena di st***o, lo spettatore si chiede se ciò a cui sta assistendo sia invece reale provocando un turbamento crudele proprio perché dovrebbe essere una scena di finzione. Il regista riesce a giocare con il conflitto tra realtà e finzione che viene appena accennato nella prima parte del film per poi esplodere nella parte finale coinvolgendo lo stesso spettatore che, insieme a Mima, si ritrova spaesato nel non sapere più a chi e a cosa credere. Sono rimasta a bocca aperta durante le ultime scene sforzandomi di riuscire a trovare un ordine e una logica alla raffica di eventi ed informazioni a cui sono stata sottoposta. Vengono affrontati i temi della salute mentale, del mondo marcio delle idol, del doppio, dello st***ing e della p*rn*gr**ia. Sembra che tutto il film ci faccia vivere in prima persona una psicosi attraverso le scelte scenografiche e registiche fatte. Le musiche inquietanti e assordanti le ho trovato azzeccatissime nelle scene di climax. Satoshi Kon sul finale rassicura lo spettatore e ristabilisce l'ordine riconducendo la spiegazione a tutto ciò a cui abbiamo assistito a un disturbo psicologico che da futura psicologa ho letteralmente amato. Non è comunque un film per tutti quindi mi astengo dal consigliarlo a chiunque come avrei voluto fare. Se amate la psicologia come me sicuramente fa per voi. La proiezione al cinema è andata così bene che avete a disposizione un ultimo giorno per vedere il film al cinema mercoledì 8 maggio! Voi lo avete visto? Cosa ne pensate?

I picked up volume 3 of Witch Hat Atelier kitchen a few days ago and I think, now I have these 3 volumes, I’ll have to start reading it! 😅 Idk if anyone else feels the same but I hold off reading stuff for series I really love. Idk Witch Hat is one of those series that takes ages to release (and rightfully so) so I don’t want to catch up to it too fast because the wait feels so big otherwise! 😭 I do really enjoy cooking and baking though so I’d really like to give some of these recipes a try! Cookery series like this always makes me feel nostalgic for Kitchen Princess which had a similar structure where there’d be a chapter of story and a recipe for the featured meal they made in that chapter. Tras varios tomos de buenas noticias, inicios de relación y declaraciones, tocaba un tomo más oscuro e intrigante que nos sirviera para ver si tanta alegría era real. Y así ha resultado este último tomo. Los pequeños detalles que veíamos en nuestros protagonistas que nos hacían sospechar de tanta perfección se empiezan a desvelar en esta parte de la historia pues, como en toda buena comedia romántica, el inicio de una relación no es el fin en sí, sino la consolidación de la misma y su crecimiento. Manga: Hell Warden Higuma This is/was a manga that did not deserve to get axed. Everything about it was enjoyable, especially the characters and the way the story was going, but alas, it will never reach it's full potential. Hell Warden Higuma is one of those manga that seems like it should've gone for awhile, not too long, perhaps a good 200 or so chapters. The story, while mostly in it's infantile form, was shaping up to be good, something people could get invested in, to watch as the backstories of the Villains, Protagonists, and Side Characters were all revealed and developed. Not to mention how fascinating the idea of Hell Wardens is within the context of the universe. The action scenes are easy to follow, offering a clean, well polished artstyle, cute designs, wonderfully drawn backgrounds, and a cutesy-vibe that somehow fits the mood of the story very well. I especially love how the eyes and teeth are drawn. Very expressive! Honestly, a lot of what I enjoyed about this title was how, despite having the shounen aura there, it went against a lot of pre-established character conventions oh, so prominent in a lot of other titles. Así las cosas, ambos deciden llegar a un acuerdo que les permita seguir manteniendo su amistad, aunque ahora Hina le pide a Taiki que le mire de forma diferente. Al mismo tiempo, Chinatsu ha perdido y ha quedado eliminada en el campeonato de baloncesto, en las fechas de su cumpleaños. A pesar de la tristeza por la eliminación, no se viene abajo y promete capitanear a su equipo para el próximo año. Curiosamente, cuando acaban las celebraciones por su cumpleaños, Chinatsu quiere desconectar un poco de todo y decidirá que Taiki sea quien le acompañe en un pequeño viaje… La revelación final del último tomo nos dejaba con unas enormes ansias de leer las primeras páginas del siguiente tomo y su lectura ha sido más que satisfactoria. La caja azul sigue desarrollando con buen ritmo y sin estridencias, el triángulo amoroso protagonista con buenas dosis de rivalidad deportiva, si bien esta vez hacía falta centrarse en las relaciones románticas. El apuro que siempre es una declaración que, a todas luces, iba a ser rechazada, se desarrolla de forma natural, con unos protagonistas que responden a lo esperado pero no por ello menos hermosa o desilusionante. No, permite abrir una nueva vía en la historia, pues ahora ya se han puestos sobre la mesa una parte de los sentimientos de una protagonista. Esto no ha hecho más que comenzar. Re-Read - Your Lie in April, Volume 8 Volume 8 began with a bit more of Tsubaki struggling with her romantic feelings for Kosei, but really - she's not what this whole volume is about. This is where we see more of Kaori's struggles and we meet Nagi. Content Warnings throughout about Kaori struggling with an unnamed chronic illness. This volume emphasizes what has been going on with her, as she has been struggling with the use of her legs. She has been hospitalized, at his point, for months. It pans back and forth between Kosei's plotline and Kaori in the hospital, and you see her struggle, her emotional pain, throughout. Late in the volume, you can see she is getting angry about it, but also at Kosei for not practicing as much as she feels he should. She screams at him in front of all their friends, then realizes what she's doing. And stops, and sobs. She is projecting her pain, her suffering onto others. And she doesn't want to do that. Kaori knows a bit about Kosei's struggles with his mother, but not everything. She doesn't want to be verbally abusive like his mother. When she starts to mirror those same behaviors, she catches herself and cries. That's not who she wants to be. Which is a huge, emotional moment. Additionally, this volume we meet Nagi. Nagi is the younger sister of a piano rival of Kosei (Takeshi). She manipulates her way into getting close to Kosei and he starts helping train her in the piano. Their relationship is a unique and new dynamic in the story, which I appreciate. I think that's all I'll say for now, as I know Volume 9 allows for that plotline to expand a lot more. So, I'll leave it at that for now. But Volume 8 hits you emotionally with some gut punches. I joked on Mastodon that I was going into each volume assuming I was going to cry. Doch gerade, als die beiden sich näher kennen lernen, geht Tanaka auf eine andere Schule. Und erst, als er weg ist, merkt Futaba, wie sehr sie in ihn verliebt ist. Hallo meine Lieben! 😇⚽️ (~Werbung/selbst gekauft~) Frage des Tages: Kennt die Reihe irgendjemand? 🙈 Facts: ✨️ in 13 Bänden abgeschlossen (ursprünglich 16 Bände) ✨️ Comedy, Ecchi & Fußball Hatte die Reihe auf Mangagram gesehen und spontan gekauft, da sie mich echt angesprochen hat. 🤭 !KANN SPUREN VON SPOILERN ENTHALTEN! Inhalt: Mai Miyano trainiert seit ihrer Kindheit mit ihrem Kumpel Kunimitsu Hasuga. Durch das Training mit ihm hat sich Mai, die eigentlich null Interesse an Fußball hat, einige Techniken angeeignet. Sie wird von der ehrgeizigen Reika angeworben und wird neues Mitglied des Kijiyama-Nord Mädchenfußballteams. Sie hat ein großes Problem, wenn sie auf dem Rasen steht: ihr Lampenfieber! 💡😵💫 Abschließendes Fazit: Ich habe die Reihe sehr gern gelesen! Die Zeichnungen sind sehr schön und ich fand es super, dass auch einige echte Techniken erwähnt werden. Zum Lachen hat sie mich ebenfalls gebracht! Mai hat eine blühende Fantasie sag ich nur. 🤭 Die Ecchi-Anteile waren zwar seeeehr präsent und ich sehe immer noch überall B0Obi3s ( . ) ( . ) , aber der Humor und die Fußball-Action haben das locker wieder ausgebügelt. Ich muss allerdings erwähnen, dass Ecchi mich nicht stört. Es wird einigen wahrscheinlich zu viel des Guten sein. 😅 Am Ende der Reihe wurde der Fanservice fast vergessen und das Augenmerk lag auf den spannenden Matches, die die Mädels durchlaufen mussten. Das hat der Reihe sehr gut getan, sonst wäre etwas die Ernsthaftigkeit zum Ende hin verloren gegangen. Ich liebe die Fußballmannschaft der Kijiyama-Nord! In questo volume la ritroviamo alle prese con i suoi problemi di alcolismo e con la pancreatite, di cui già ci aveva parlato nelle sue opere precedenti. Nulla è cambiato, stesso modus operandi: vignette che mostrano quello che l'autrice scrive come didascalie, ormai la conosco e ci ho fatto il callo. Questa volta però non mi ha convinta, forse per la tematica già conosciuta o forse perché non ho trovato tutte quelle belle riflessioni che tanto avevo amato nei volumi precedenti. Mentre leggevo, continuava a venirmi in mente un unico commento: poraccia sta qui! 🍰🍰🍰 Con tutti i problemi che ti sommergono, l'unica cosa di cui ti viene voglia è una ciotola piena di gelato con cui strafogarti e tanto cioccolato sopra, giusto per consolarti meglio. Affoghiamo i dispiaceri nella dolcezza del gelato e del cioccolato. E questa coccola gliela consiglio personalmente a Nagata, da quanto mi fa tenerezza. Ma siccome la poverina non può fare a meno dell'alcool, le aggiungo un po' di brandy, così oltre che nei dolci, affoghiamo i dispiaceri pure nell'alcool. After that I was hooked and a few months later I'm all caught up and reading the manga! Luffy has become a comfort character for me. The Fable - hat mich von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite total mitreißen können. Der Humor, die Zeichnungen ( vor allem Fable´s Gesicht ), ich musste soooo lachen, ich denke die Leute im Zug haben mich deshalb so komisch angeschaut :D Fable hat so ein ausdrucksloses Gesicht, egal was er sagt oder macht, er kommt dadurch einfach so lustig rüber, aber auch die Actionszenen können sich sehen lassen. In einem Jahr soll er untertauchen und ein gewöhnliches Leben leben, leider läuft unser Hauptprotagonist immer Leuten in die Arme, die es nicht gerade gut mit ihm meinen und er muss aufpassen, dass er keinen von ihnen umbringt. Von The Fable gibt es sogar einen Realfilm auf Netflix, ich hab schon einmal kurz reingeschaut und werde den Film die Tage anschauen bzw. gibt es mehrere davon. Wer also Interesse hat, schaut mal rein, ich hoffe der Humor und die Actionszenen sind genauso gut wie im Manga. Die Reihe umfasst in Japan 22 Bände und wird bei uns im zwei Monats Rhythmus als Doppelbände im Handel erscheinen. Somit wird die Reihe bei uns 11 Doppelbände umfassen. Ein sehr toller und gelungener Neustart! Für alle Action-Fans und diejenigen, die nicht zum lachen in den Keller gehen, ein MUSS! Für mich sogar einer meiner liebsten Neustarts in diesem Jahr ! 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐚 Neve ha un passato colmo di ombre, non ha più i suoi genitori a fianco — morti in maniera brutale — e la sua nuova famiglia è composta da... 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢. Non i demoni che siamo soliti immaginare, cattivi e pronti a portare sulla cattiva strada il povero malcapitato, ma tutto il contrario; infatti in questo caso si tratta di creature buone d’animo che si trovano a vagare sul suolo umano perché stanche di essere maltrattate all’Inferno.🔥 Neve è un evocatore e ormai sono tanti anni che passa il suo tempo in compagnia dei demoni, senza però avere contatti con esseri umani come lui. Il compito di tutti loro è cercare di tirare fuori dall’Inferno più demoni possibili per dar loro una nuova casa, se effettivamente è ciò che vogliono, ma coloro che non sono d’accordo con questa soluzione non attendono altro che mettere il bastone tra le ruote a Neve e agli altri. Il protagonista si ritrova a dover combattere contro queste creature e finisce per scoprire parti di sé ancora celate e poco chiare.😈 Che dire su Diablomachia? Non è un manga che a primo impatto attirerebbe la mia attenzione, sia per lo stile artistico sia per la storia. Qualcosa non mi ha catturato fino in fondo, eppure qualche emozione me l’ha regalata e ne faccio tesoro. Verso la fine lascia anche quel grado di curiosità che spinge a chiedersi chi diventerà Neve nel corso della narrazione... e possiamo anche tirare un sospiro di sollievo, poiché se non erro i volumi totali saranno solo tre! 💪 Ve lo consiglio se vi aggrada l’idea di leggere un manga fantasy e di azione, che sottolinea l’importanza dell’amicizia e dei legami indissolubili, che racconta la potenza emotiva del sacrificio per il bene dei più e l’altruismo... e anche il dolore della perdita.🥀 Ringrazio @edizionistarcomics per la copia. 💌 📚 Potrebbe fare al caso vostro? 📚 Come avete iniziato questo lunedì?

È la sposa di un Dio! Quindi bhè, inutile dirvi che il sequestro è durato da Natale a Santo Stefano 🤣 (Shirogane the best 🩷). Sto trovando la loro storia davvero dolce, e spero davvero che alla fine riescano in qualche modo a stare insieme anche dopo che lei avrà finito di svolgere il compito di “moglie che lo purifica” 🤞🏻❤️🩹. Invece la famiglia di Midori, anche in questo secondo volume, si riconferma davvero orribile. Nonostante Midori sembra avere almeno un po’ l’appoggio della sorella (solo alcune volte), il padre e la madre la trattano come se fosse alla stregua di una conoscente di poco conto 🙃. Tralasciando il salvataggio iniziale, è stato un volume piuttosto tranquillo ma non mi ha annoiata per nulla, quindi andrò volentieri avanti con l’acquisto dei volumi successivi 🌸. A voi piacciono le storie d’amore che hanno come protagonisti gli Dei?
