Cambrils organiza una feria de tres días con el romesco de protagonista El Romesco Food & Drinks tendrá lugar del 17 al 19 de mayo en el Parc del Pescador Según explica el alcalde del municipio, Alfredo Clúa, «el romesco es una de las razones por la que Cambrils es considerada como la capital gastronómica de la Costa Daurada e, incluso, de Catalunya». Con el objetivo de innovar y mejorar este acto, la XI edición de las Jornades del Romesco contará con una novedad ideada desde la Associació d’Empresaris d’Hostaleria de Cambrils (AEHC), la cual llevaba tiempo siendo una demanda e inquietud. Se trata del Romesco Food & Drinks, la cual tendrá lugar del 17 al 19 de mayo en el Parc del Pescador, con un formato muy similar a la Fira del Vi. Durante aquel fin de semana, el Parc del Pescador de Cambrils se llenará de casetas que ofrecerán platillos y tapas de diferentes estilos, pero siempre con la presencia de la salsa marinera. «Se podrán encontrar platos fríos, pero también calientes y todos serán de gran calidad», afirma el presidente de la AEHC, Xavi Martí. Esta comida, a diferencia de la Feria del Vino, se pagará con dinero físico en el mismo establecimiento y no con tickets como se hace en otras jornadas. Aún no hay precios confirmados, pero cada platillo rondará los 5 euros, según la complejidad del plato. Toda esta comida irá acompañada con cerveza artesana, así como cava y Corpinnat. En total habrá 24 casetas distribuidas por todo el recinto, doce serán de comida y las doce restantes de bebida. MOLHO ROMESCO | Esse Molho Romesco é um acompanhamento à base de tomates e pimentões que, além de saboroso, é super fácil de fazer; confira! Ingredientes: 6 tomates maduros 1 pimentão vermelho 1 pimentão amarelo 2 cebolas roxas 4 dentes de alho 1 xíc. (chá) de amêndoas tostadas 100 ml de azeite 60 ml de vinagre de vinho tinto 1/2 colher (chá) de páprica picante 2 fatias de pão de forma sal e pimenta-do-reino a gosto Modo de Preparo: 1-Em uma assadeira, coloque os tomates, os pimentões, as cebolas e os dentes de alho. Found huge portobello mushrooms at the grocery store this weekend and brought them home to make these “burgers” for the kids (and us grown ups) as I had promised to them. 🔥🌶️ ROMESCO SAUCE 🌶️🔥 This is THE most delicious umami bomb - it’s a Spanish chargrilled red pepper sauce which originates from Catalonia and was originally created by fishermen to be eaten with fish 💕 It’s rich in flavour, spicy, smoky and sharp and will bring a burst of flavour to any crudite platter or dish. Inspired by our recent meal at Bancone, this is my twist on a Romesco Sauce! Apparently at Bancone they make theirs with 5 different nuts, but I think this mix of 3 is a winner. If in a pinch, use blanched almonds only. Just another thing the Spaniards got right 💖 200g chargrilled peppers 3 sundried tomatoes 100g toasted nuts - 50g blanched almonds, 25g toasted hazelnuts, 25g walnuts 1 garlic clove, minced 1 tsp smokey paprika 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1 tbsp red wine vinegar Method: 1. Simply pop everything in a blender and blitz until you reach your desired consistency.

✨ ROASTED ASPARAGUS, CRISPY @boldbeanco , TOASTED ROMESCO & SALSA VERDE RECIPE 💥 Last week I hosted a supper at home and did a dip recipe inspired by @natsnourishments for a starter. This week I wanted to turn it into a super #seasonalside using British asparagus - a total delight and something you should definitely make 🩷 You will need for 6: - 570g @boldbeanco white beans, drained, rinsed and pat dried - @fino_oliveoil and @maldonsalt - 600g asparagus tops - Romesco: 350g drained red peppers, 150g toasted flaked almonds, 50ml olive oil, 25ml red wine vinegar, 2 tsps honey, 1 garlic clove and seasoning - Salsa verde: 30g parsley leaves, 30g torn basil, tbsp oregano, 3 anchovy fillets, 1 tbsp red wine vinegar, 2 tbsps olive oil, 1-2 tsp chilli flakes and seasoning 👩🏻🍳 METHOD 👩🏻🍳 1. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper and heat oven to 200 degrees. 2. Place the drained beans on a roasting tray with a drizzle of olive oil and salt. Mix together with your hands and place in the oven for 30 minutes flipping half way or till crispy and golden brown. 3. Place the asparagus, drizzle with olive oil and salt, mix together, place in the oven and let roast for 10-12 minutes till soft but still vibrant green. 4. Whilst they cook, blitz the romesco ingredients to smooth and salsa verde ingredients to chunky salsa consistency. 5. Once the beans and asparagus is cooked and cooled, it’s time to plate up. Smear the romesco over the serving plate, top with asparagus spears and the scatter over the crispy beans.
