Heute mal ein ganz anderes Thema. Demenz/Alzheimer. Schon mehrere meiner Familienmitglieder waren oder sind betroffen (gewesen). Als Kind ist das alles irgendwie weit weg und schwer greifbar. Dass deine Uroma dich nicht mehr erkennt, ist zwar unverständlich, aber erstmal, emotional gesehen, nicht weiter schlimm. Bist du aber erwachsen und deine Oma, die einfach dein ganzes Leben immer die beste war, erkennt dich nicht mehr. Das ist hart. Letztes Jahr noch, hat sie uns zumindest ansatzweise erkannt. Dieses Jahr merkt sie kaum noch dass wir da sind. Abends gehe ich die Runde mit Rosalee und laufe am Altenheim vorbei, bleibe vor dem Fenster stehen und sage „Gute Nacht Omi, schlaf gut, bis Morgen“, in der Hoffnung es morgen wieder tun zu können. Durch meine Arbeit, kann ich leider nicht so oft tagsüber hin, wie ich gerne würde. Der Besuch ist dann irgendwie eine Mischung aus schlechtem Gewissen, Pflichtgefühl und familiärer Fürsorge. Oma war immer für uns da, es ist doch normal dass wir das jetzt auch sein sollten. Auch wenn sie „uns“ nicht wirklich wahrgenommen hat, nicht mehr gesprochen hat, nicht gelächelt hat, hat sie dennoch Rosalee wahrgenommen und ihr ihre Hand hingehalten und Rosalee hat sie abgeleckt. Dieser kurze Moment von winziger Klarheit war schön. Als sie danach ihr Hand in Richtung meiner Hand gestreckt hat und ich ihre Hand genommen habe und einfach einen Moment lang festgehalten habe, war es für mich zwar unheimlich schwer, aber ich habe einfach gehofft sie spürt dass wir sie lieben 🥰 Wir alle, jeder einzelne hier! Abgesehen von meiner Oma haben sich wirklich viele Menschen dort gefreut Rosalee zu sehen und streicheln zu dürfen. I love all of them the same but I have an extra soft spot for Loki and Kai 🖤 and Lucas doing the voices was extra special (he is 1 of my favourite narrators) the words and plot came to life. With how spicy this book is there is also plot which I can’t wait to figure out even more as the story continues.
