RECIPE! Sarde Baccafico my way. I've used oranges because they are at the end of the season so there was a big offer at the market and I bought many kilos... but you can replace them with lemon or other citrus fruit :) . Ingredients (for 2 people) 1/2 kilo sardines, cleaned and deboned breadcrumbs 1/3 cup raisins 1/3 cup pine nuts dill 1 organic orange e.v.o.oil . Method: Leave the raisins soaking in water for about 15 minutes, toast the pine nuts and prepare your breadcrumbs. Slice the orange in two, grate some zests, squeeze half of it and combine the juice with a few drops of e.v.o.oil and cut the other half lengthwise and the in half again, so you obtain small orange triangles. Place the sardines with the skin downwards on your working surface. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs, and add the raisins, pine nuts, orange zests and dill. Roll the sardines from head to bottom and place them onto a greased baking pan with the tail upwards. Add more breadcrumbs, raisins, pine nuts and dill, gently pour the orange and oil mixture and bake for about 6/7 minutes at 180°. Stirred together gochujang, veggie broth, coconut milk, yellow curry paste, and tomato paste and let it simmer for a few hours. Added some fake meat bits, roasted off a squash and let those simmer in the broth for ages too. Filled a bowl with rice noodles, poured on the liquid. Topped with portabella mushrooms, miso fried tofu, scallions, purple cabbage, chili crisp, broccoli, and pickled daikon/carrot. It turned out pretty great. I called in sick yesterday and mostly just watched tv/movies and then made this dinner and honestly, it was the best time. I wish I could do this most days.

I could never work in an office again. It is the most unhealthy environment, and I can’t go back. Between the gossip/office drama queens + everyone wearing their toxic perfumes/strong laundry smelling clothes + the lack of healthy food options to pack or order out. I whipped up this tasty lunch in 15 minutes flat, from chopping to plating. And man, it was so good. All organic - baby bella mushrooms, onion, orange bell pepper, asparagus, avocado oil, S&P, and a pat of grass fed butter at the end 😋 Oh, and I danced and listened to music while I cooked, so I got some movement and a serotonin boost, at the same time. There is a movement with big momentum right now. It is an urging to get back to basics and reclaim our food freedom, health, and land. Salmonella typhi (Typhoid) Typhoid is the most severe foodborne illness and has a high mortality rate if left untreated. It thrives in areas where there is poor sanitation. It is commonly spread when food and water come into contact with sewage. It cannot survive being cooked or boiled, however it can survive at freezing temperatures. If treated, the mortality rate is 1-2%, but without treatment, death can occur in every 1 out of 3 cases. As with other food borne illnesses, the elderly, young and people with compromised immune systems are most at risk of severe illness. Really? I would hope that someone doesn’t have the bright idea of doing this. Uncooked pork is usually full of all kinds of nasty things, no matter how cleanly the hog was raised. Even wild hogs. Not to mention, raw bacon probably tastes like eating greased rubber bands. The cooking is what brings out all those lovely flavors and that wonderful texture. Nothing like some well done bacon on a sandwich where it breaks apart with each bite, giving you that awesome crunch and beautiful flavor. So I suppose this is a PSA. Just don’t do it. Don’t try it. Don’t even think about it. Cook your bacon, and devour those wonderfully crispy strips of nitrate filled salty deliciousness. Save this pancake recipe👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 Dry: 2 cups of all purpose, flour 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon salt Wet: One cup milk 1/2 cup heavy cream Two eggs 1/2 cup melted butter 1 tablespoon. Vanilla extract. Pour wet into dry and mix until incorporated and no lumps are visible. Add butter into a pan and cook pancakes on medium heat.
