The next-to-last release on the shortlived „Black Jazz“ label by Cleveland Eaton might as well be the most versatile LP on BJ. While „Hamburg 302“ is a dark, deep and moody jazzfunk masterpiece as to be expected on this sort of record, the funky „Chi-Town Theme“ wouldn’t be out of place on a classic blaxploitation OST. But my favorite must be the beautiful free soul gem „Are Out There Somewhere Caring“, that is one of the few songs that for me sounds like no other I know. También conocido como “The Silver Album” debido a su cubierta metálica. La portada del álbum muestra al dúo con un aspecto andrógino, ambos maquillados, sobre un fondo plateado. Fue diseñada por Pierre LaRoche, un maquillador que era responsable de gran parte del aspecto andrógino de los artistas de Glam-Rock 🎸 de la época, incluida la creación de la apariencia de la persona de Ziggy Stardust para David Bowie. La portada surgió después de que Hall & Oates conocieran a Pierre LaRoche en Greenwich Village (New York), donde eran vecinos. LaRoche les dijo a los dos: "Quiero hacer una portada de álbum con ustedes. ¡Te inmortalizaré!" El álbum dio lugar a tres sencillos: "Camellia", "Alone Too Long" y "Sara Smile".
