@Mazi_and_Mom_Clothing Super-Swirl dress is a park day favorite. Our dresses end the morning tears and allow kids to move beyond their sensitivities! LINK IN BIO Mazi is a fun-loving little girl with an eye for color who loves building things, but severe sensitivities often reduced her to tears and made everyday life miserable. Mom shopped, ordered, and searched for clothes that wouldn't make Mazi say "No, nope, uncomfortable, miserable, soooo tight, tag sooo scratchy, too heavy”…but simply couldn't find anything. Finally we decided that sometimes you just have to make it yourself. We searched for the softest fabric, came up with a design that didn't bug Mazi, and set out to make designs girls would love. Hello new friends ! We are leading a movement and the first nervous system regulation retail offering of its kind. An awkward intro ,… to the hearts and faces behind this nervous system regulation store ! How did this concept come to be ? Well. Fell in love with a man, had two boys, quickly life started to look nothing like we planned for or thought it would. Fast forward a decade …. Along our family journey we experienced medical trauma, auto immune disorder, sensory processing challenges, a Down syndrome diagnosis and a heap of financial and career set backs - as we tried to hold it all together - it was falling a part. Our nervous systems went through the proverbial wringer. When that happens, life gets challenging - especially in relationship dynamics because we co- regulate with others, including the universe. Yet, as grace and fate will have it … The journey has lead us to this unique and profound place after a decade of dipping in and out of western medicine to a path with more natural minded and alternative approaches to healing. Finding home in a holistic, and somatic approach to our life, healing and environment. Now sharing it with others. The beauty is we have come through the other side. With honesty I can say we walk the walk. Is it perfect, no. Thank fully. I lack in funny quirks to share, humour has never been my strong suit but being real has been. Which is usually fodder for a laugh. We value community & authentic living. We are advocates for inclusion because we all matter and it’s time to create a new culture and society around that philosophy and burn the old, ableist, hierarchy one down. Anyway, thank you for being here. Come in for a nervous system reset, exit on a cloud. We have so much vision for this we can’t wait as it unfolds.
