Accountability update, I haven’t done a run in two weeks. The old me would have said “that’s it I suck, I’m giving up” but not this new me. My goal is to go for a run Thursday morning. My aim for Thursday is to get to the 5km mark. Intervals still but I’ll stretch them out to 2min jog, 30sec walk. I was doing 1min on 1min off. I realised how important it is to invest in myself so I can be the best mum to my girls I can be. For everyone it looks different so do what makes you feel good. For me it is: 💎 regularly moving my body 💎 cold showers 💎 infrared saunas once per week 💎 me time to read, nap etc - anything that will rest my body 💎 getting into running at a slow and steady pace 💎 going to bed earlier to make sure I get enough sleep because I start work at 6am four mornings per week 💎 enjoy the ritual of making and drinking my morning coffee 💎 talk and laugh with my best friends often 💎 enjoy food with no guilt attached 💎 meditate or breath work 💎 be out in nature 💎 feel my feelings when they come up, cry if needed What are some of your favourite things you do for you? ++ Would you like me to support with this? While I write this, I am lying in bed with my oversized cardigan on and electric blanket to take the edge off. It seems the warm weather maybe be gone for us in Melbourne 😞 My mood can be very weather dependent. You? Daylight savings finishes this weekend. It’s less motivating getting out of bed when it is still dark and cold. But this is the time we need to dig deeper and find that will go keep going with our great habits. You may just need an extra layer on. I am off to the sauna this afternoon for week five in a row. Which is easy to do when the weather is colder. Stay warm. Adjust your healthy habits to suit the weather change. And give yourself permission to take things a little slower in the colder months. Like me going to bed at 7:30pm last night haha 😛

I remember it clearly, the exact moment when my eyes opened wide and my heart wrinkled a bit. I turned to my then 1 year old son as he was happily playing and I was already pregnant with my second baby…the moment I heard the following words: “Think about this…you only have 18 years with your kids. They will grow and leave the nest” Some might leave later and some leave before then… I remember sitting there watching my son and thinking that it wasn’t enough time. Your HOME is holding some of the most amazing memories you and your family will ever live. Maybe your first kid had his first steps there, maybe you brought your second one to this HOME and watched both kids become brothers as the years went by! Maybe you brought your first family pet there! Maybe you and your husband danced together in the living room after the kids went to bed! Maybe you all cuddled under the blankets when the heat went out and the house became cold for a little bit! Maybe you all cooked a meal or baked together! Maybe one day you cried, your husband cried, your children cried and those moments happened right there at home…because HOME is SAFE! So “long live all the magic we made”…in our HOME! Why do you exercise? I had a great conversation with a lady today at the Pilates studio. She had injured her knee but said to me that exercising for her was all for her mental health. I love this so much. Over the past few years, my PT clients have changed from coming to me to lose weight, to doing it for their mental health because they feel so much better for it. I have been exercising so much more consistently for the past few months to help me through my anxiety and stress. It has saved me!!! Exercise for your mental wellbeing. The natural high you get afterwards is motivating in itself.

Working on self-worth ❤️🔥 I’ve always struggled with this. Have settled for less than I deserve in many areas of my life. Waiting to be chosen. Letting others have the power to make me feel a certain way about myself, even when it isn’t my truth. Allowing other people’s opinions of me define who I am. But I know me. Deep down I know my worth. And as I get older I am getting better at stepping into who I truly am, and I am beginning to really love her. I am getting less tolerant of shit. Moi quand il me reste des mangues dans le frigo et que j'ai envie de mettre en scène quelques assiettes. Une recette sans trop de chichis avec beaucoup de fruits 😝😏 Tiramisu à la mangue Cercle de 18 cm -3 œufs -75 g de sucre -75 g de farine -150ml de purée de fruit de la passion -50 g de sucre -3 oeufs -250 g de mascarpone -90 g de sucre -3 cas de lait -3 feuilles de gélatine -200ml de crème liquide entière -100ml de crème de coco -une mangue mûre coupée en cube Préparer le biscuit cuillère, en séparant les blancs des jaunes. Monter les blancs en neige et ajouter le sucre petit à petit. Ajouter les jaunes puis la farine tamisée. Étaler deux cercles à l'aide d'une poche à douille, sur une plaque recouverte de papier cuisson et enfourner 10 mins à 180°C dans votre four préchauffé. Chauffer le jus, le sucre dans une casserole jusqu'à ce que le sucre se dissout. Réserver. Mettre la gélatine à ramollir dans de l'eau froide. Séparer les blancs des jaunes. Fouetter les jaunes avec le sucre jusqu'à obtenir un mélange mousseux et blanc. Puis ajouter le mascarpone. Faire chauffer le lait et dissoudre la gélatine essorée dans le lait. Ajouter le lait au mélange mascarpone et mélanger. Fouetter la crème liquide et la crème de coco en chantilly et l'incorporer délicatement au mélange précédent. Passer au montage, disposer dans votre cercle un fond de biscuit, badigeonner de sirop fruit de la passion, ajouter la crème de mascarpone au coco, parsemer généreusement de cubes de mangue et recouvrir de crème. Déposer votre deuxième biscuit, imbibé à nouveau de sirop et finir par une fine couche de crème. Réserver au frais 1h puis enlever votre cercle. Pour décorer j'ai utilisé une chantilly maison à l'aide d'une douille pour saint honoré mais vous pouvez finir uniquement avec un zeste de citron vert 😉 #hinalysrecipes
