N I really thought I was pretty lean at this point.. ๐๐ I was definitely complacent ever since February. Truth be told, I thought I was lean, that shredding is no issue for me, and the recent reservist training made it worse when I indulge in 3-4 servings per visit to cookhouse ๐ Thankfully I had a huge wake up call from my peers to know that I am actually far off the target. The body may be stubborn right now, the mind might be really lazy , but hopefully I will still be on track in time.
The Legend that made this year feel like it needs to be a special one. No I donโt mean myself, but the man on the graffiti wall behind me, my idol, the icon, the Greatest Laker, the Black Mamba, Kobe Bean Bryant. Well, havenโt achieve anything to say I am definitely doing great this year yet, so I shall not elaborate too much. The day this photo was taken tho, is a pretty humbling one, as I went for a basketball session right opposite this graffiti wall at the court on top of @toppenmy Never did I expect that a random basketball session with my friend and a few small kids is going to result in a pretty bad ankle sprain. It was truly a wake up call to be more careful and to pull back more on other physical activities that increase my risk of injury. In fact, this marks my third injury this year sustained while playing basketball. N I only played thrice, thus it means one injury on each occasion I touch the basketball. As much as I love the sport, and as much as I drew inspiration from a basketball player, I know that Mamba Mentality is about being relentless and focused in oneโs pursue, and that he should not allow anything jeopardise that. One day I will definitely be back on the court, but till then, my eyes is on the โprizeโ.
