Can I train daily? Our EMS workout is only 25-minutes, but it equates to 2-3 hours of lifting weights at the gym. Our coaches are also Certified Personal Trainers, so each one of them is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Once I set a goal, I often get really excited to reach it, so I asked one of my coaches if I could train daily in an effort to reach my fitness goals faster. It turns out, when we exercise, we break the tiny muscle fibers in the muscles that we train. Over the next couple days, these muscles rebuild. This is how we end up getting stronger, getting more toned, and building muscle. If we were to break down these muscle fibers daily without rest, they would never get the chance to rebuild and the physical results would not manifest. It would end up being more hurtful than helpful. Furthermore, it could result in overtraining, which is very dangerous. Currently having Fortnite withdrawals (it’s been 3 days) . Little word of advice today for anyone that struggles to get enough food in to gain weight :) It can be hard to get those calories in when you’re trying to gain, whether you’re busy, have a fast metabolism, or a small appetite. In times like that, it’s best to find things and substitute things in that are more calorically dense. It’s going to be a lot harder to eat 1000 calories worth of lettuce than 1000 of steak and potatoes for example because it’s a larger volume of food. You’re going to feel a lot more physically full while getting in less calories. Find higher calorie items, or opt for the higher calorie options if you’re really struggling to eat. “Force feeding” isn’t necessarily ideal but there are also times when you just have to pick up the fork and eat.
