Hereโs a client of mine who loves to run and is facing with some knee related issues. Her structural bias and configuration just makes it hard to get off the ground. And with gravity as a constant pushing downwards, it just makes it even harder. Sheโs squeezed up top and wider at the bottom which just amplifies the downward pressure, her way of working around is to utilize compensatory strategies that lead to her knee issues. The goal is to reduce pressure up top, and teach her how to ascend her guts / pressure straight up instead of bending things. We canโt change her structure/configuration but we sure can help improve her strategies to overcome it.
