PUSH UPS ON YOUR TOES - If you’ve been stuck doing push ups on your knees and can’t quite get to your toes… THIS RIGHT HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED! It took me about a year of practice to get from push ups on my knees to doing them on my toes when I first started barre in 2016. But once I got it, I got it! Modifications are KEY to work your way up to the full thing and this is probably one of the best to help you transition to being able to do a few reps on your toes. 👉🏽 Do as many res as you can on your toes WITHOUT the band (even if just ONE rep) 👉🏽 Then put on the band and finish out the rest of your set What exercise do you need help with next?! Can I train daily? Our EMS workout is only 25-minutes, but it equates to 2-3 hours of lifting weights at the gym. Our coaches are also Certified Personal Trainers, so each one of them is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Once I set a goal, I often get really excited to reach it, so I asked one of my coaches if I could train daily in an effort to reach my fitness goals faster. It turns out, when we exercise, we break the tiny muscle fibers in the muscles that we train. Over the next couple days, these muscles rebuild. This is how we end up getting stronger, getting more toned, and building muscle. If we were to break down these muscle fibers daily without rest, they would never get the chance to rebuild and the physical results would not manifest. It would end up being more hurtful than helpful. Furthermore, it could result in overtraining, which is very dangerous. Raw footage for my top 3 leg day excercises I personally think are necessary for growing that 🍑 😇 As soon as I incorporated these 3 excercises (rdls, hipthrusts and glute step ups) into my leg days the progress I seen was much better than overloading on random unnecessary excercises I didn’t need before. I now only train legs 2x a week because I found I wasn’t actually giving my legs enough time to rest and repair therefore they couldn’t grow and work to their fullest potential. I promise you, you don’t need to be training legs as often as you think! You will see much more progress by only 2 leg days a week training with high intensity - and to failure.
