It was it the silence I learnt to heal, Isolating myself, Avoiding feeling emotions The inability to sit with it Always keeping busy. I was taught that feeling how you felt wasn't a normal thing. Process emotions were weak, and taking time out because you had enough of being emotionally, physically, and mentally down was taboo. But in honesty, it was in all of that that I found I was fcuked up, my heart was, my mindset was, and most of all, my belief system was. They were all covered in corruption. Comprimsed by beliefs that weren't mine. It was a long process of blaming, which really solved nothing. So I took a deep look in the mirror. A very uncomfortable look. A journey of judgement and justification. It was me!! Everything came down to me even though the storyline was after accountability and responsibility. I WANTED TO GET BETTER, BE BETTER, DO BETTER So, through it all, I had to look within and forgive myself. My guilt I held about what happened to me My blame I held because it wasn't my fault My shame I held onto that was not mine to hold And bit by bit, my shoulders became lighter, less burden because the traps were set free by my permission. IN THE SILENCE OF HEARINF MYSELF I FOUND ME. Through it all what the biggest lesson was self-control and that only you have the power to control you, your actions, your reactions. True authenticity. It is often believed that the way we live our lives and what we have in our lives is linked to our authentic self. How untrue. However, some feel that version of you don't need attention and best dealt with in other ways Often, being viewed as transformation means if the past never took place or that it should be forgotten. Maybe that is your coping mechanism. You go through stage that's think if I suppress, forget and even not speak on the pain and painful experiences they go away. But go away for how long is really the true question, and that answer is NOT LONG ENOUGH. Because truth is though that it's still there and will always be there, but instead of it been a burden, you decided to deal with it.
