I love a Sunday roast as much as the next man (or woman). Therefore it was imperative that we find a spot for a gluten free roast in Benalmadena 🇪🇸 We came across @thecarverycompany in neighbouring Torremolinos, and it didn’t disappoint 😍 in fact it did the opposite. I went for a starter too after spotting soup of the day (with my current obsession of soup). It was roasted red pepper, sweet potato and coconut, and was delicious 🥣 Then we had the carvery where you can request gluten free Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy 🔥. You go up to the carvery for your meat, potatoes & veggies. I had both beef and turkey, the beef was quite pink which is fine for me but others might not be keen but they had turkey, pork and ham as well as options. The roast was amazing and would highly recommend if you love a roast dinner on holiday. Swipe through the photos and done forget to hit the like button ❤️. Save in your Benalmadena folder just in case you ever visit 🫶 As our holiday draws to a close, it just makes us want the Aussie sun even more. A couple of weeks ago, Jason and I had our 10yr anniversary! Every year, we always celebrate by going to a nice restaurant; getting dressed up, enjoy a delicious shared meal, having some cheeky cocktails, and just being present in the moment 🤍 This year we enjoyed our anniversary dinner at @tequilamockingbirdrestaurant and it was a solid 10/10 across the board - we had also been there a couple of years ago and were stocked it was still so, so good! Buongiorno Sglutinati, buon Lunedì ☀️ Una cosa che adoro è fare colazione in tranquillità, senza guardare l’orologio, ecco perché mi sveglio presto, devo avere il tempo di carburare per poi trasformarmi in Bianconiglio 🥰 Per la colazione di oggi ho preparato una torta buonissima della mia amica @monica_bellin_ ... la sua magnifica TORTA RUSTICA ALLA FRUTTA 🍎 🍌 Da quando l’ho provata non la lascio più , morbida, leggera e soprattutto velocissima da fare 🥰 TORTA RUSTICA ALLA FRUTTA Per uno stampo da 22 cm • 2 uova • 4 Banane mature • 100 g zucchero Semolato • 200 g Farina di Riso • 1 bustina di Lievito per dolci • 1/2 cucchiaino di estratto di vaniglia • 50 g Cioccolato a pezzetti ( facoltativo) Si prepara in 5 min . Nel mixer riducete a purea la banana , unite le uova , la vaniglia e lo zucchero amalgamate e da ultime unite la farina mescolata al lievito , amalgamate bene nel mixer e versate il tutto nello stampo coperto di carta forno Tagliate a pezzetti il cioccolato , ponetelo sopra e mescolate delicatamente. Cook potatoes 12-15 mins until start to crisp up and get tender. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to medium low and fold in peppers/onions and steak cooking 1 min. Remove from heat. Fold in cheese. Top with fried eggs and garnish with parsley.
𝓨𝓸𝓻𝓴𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓻𝓮 𝓟𝓾𝓭𝓭𝓷𝓰𝓼 Perfect addition to any dinner if you ask me!! These are both GF and DF. ⭐️ Equal parts plain flour to corn flour (I use 50g for both) ⭐️3 eggs ⭐️120ml milk (I use oat based milk) Pop some oil in a muffin tray (I don’t have a special Yorkshire tray!) for 5-10mins. Pour some of the batter into each section. I fill each section about half way-ish. Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown. Oven temp should be about 180 degrees, however I find a hotter oven is better for these - all ovens are different. To cook a whole roast dinner my oven is on 200 degrees - perhaps time for a new one?! 🤦🏼♀️😂 ⭐️Top tip - I prepare the batter before I start the whole prepping/cooking of the roast. I find if it sits for awhile it rises better in the oven 🤷🏼♀️ ⭐️you can also cook these ahead of time and freeze them if you want to. #recipe #yorkshirepudding #roastdinner #sundaydinner #dinnerideas

100% gluten free bakery 😍 @wildfloursbakery ✨ We finally paid a visit to the bakery that makes me hungry every week 😂😋 If your based in Glasgow you have to pay them a visit! Or if you're visiting Glasgow ❤️ We went a bit crazy and wanted to try everything 😂 We got: Cheesecake, empire biscuit, Nutella brownie, kinder cookie, two strawberry tarts, pan au chocolate and a cheddar and chutney sausage roll 😍 *SWIPE FOR MORE PICTURES * Everything tasted so good! 🥹 The sausage roll was bursting with flavour and the pastry was just 🤤 Can't believe it's taken us so long to visit, we'll definitely be making this a regular treat 😏😂 Pan au chocolate is my fave ever pastry and this was my first time having one since I being diagnosed with coeliac disease! It tasted just like I remember 😍 the pastry is unbelievable! They are currently in the process of changing suppliers so might not have them for a while but I'll be watching closely for them coming back! 😁 They are doing lots of tarts at the moment, and the strawberry tarts are way better than any I had even when I could eat gluten... And I ate a lot of them 👀😂 Definitely recommend a visit to them, they do all sorts! Vegan too ❤️ lovely people and amazing bakes! Clearly labeled. Last night we did Mexican 🇲🇽 Cantina Mexicana in Benalmadena Marina ☀️ if you swipe through the photos you will see I have taken a photo of the menu. Clearly labelled with gluten free logo next to dishes which could be gluten free 👍 Starter - we shared the nachos which were incredible!! They came on a large flat plate which meant that almost every single nacho was covered with the topping. I find they usually come in a bowl, and only the top layer is covered 😂. We ordered these without cheese and sour cream as Jade’s not a fan anyway and now I’m avoiding lactose. We went with the chilli ancho & chicken topping. Main - I was tempted to go with the fajitas, but really fancied the grilled Angus beef salad bowl as it sounded great, I very rarely go for salad 😂. It came and was massive and delicious I had a gluten free San Miguel with food, and naturally we finished off the Mexican with a Margarita 🍸 😍 Gluten free options ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought the bill came to quite a lot for what we had, although it was delicious. The ambience/vibe in the restaurant was very good, they had a singer/guitarist in there who brought good energy to the room!

📍Montreal Paella @montrealpaella 🥘🥘🥘🫶🏻! It’s so nice to find traditional Spanish food in Montreal. E ordered their Paella Valenciana. It has rabbit, chicken, lima beans, and green beans. E can now say he likes rabbit more than chicken as he was able to make a direct comparison. For some REALLY yummy gluten-free paella, we’d highly recommend this place.
