Took a stroll along Keong Saik during lunch time and decided to try out Bread & Hearth. Their Crispy Chicken Wrap ($17.90) was very crispy (yes lived up to its name), though the cheese and mayo was a little overwhelming. The chicken had enough flavour on its own to just be paired with the lettuce. Customers mostly came in to purchase their bread and pastries. Easy, nutritious and fuss free dinner. Made an Asian dressing using the usual pantry suspects of rice vinegar, soy, sesame oil, honey, garlic and ginger. It was easy to prepare since All the vegetables were raw and only needed some knife work. One of my favorite holiday cookies to make. They really taste like a cup of hot chocolate!! With my crew of kids I buy the big Swiss Miss tub of cocoa powder and use that in this recipe but you can use any hot cocoa you have on hand. You want the plain variety for this. (No marshmallows or funny business in it) - They come together pretty quick. The only tricky part is getting those marshmallows on quickly before the cookies start cooling so work fast at that stage. I push them down into the cookie a bit otherwise they want to roll off when you’re baking the last minute. - Makes 36 big ol cookies.
