【工作與生活的平衡】 有沒有可能，常常認為自己工作與生活失衡，哀怨工時太長，放鬆時間太少，唸著應該要Work-life balance的人，其實是因為他在「工作」貼上了負面的標籤？ 講到「工作」，直覺讓人聯想到上班，付出勞力換取收入，是以賺錢為目的的差事，俗稱打工仔的週間日常。 用「能不能賺錢」來定義工作，是很狹義的視角。想想無償照顧流浪狗的人，舉辦讀書會社群的人，無國界醫師，偏鄉教育家，環保倡議者，這些人的努力與行動，難道都只是工作以外的興趣嗎？ 若以廣義的眼光來看「工作」，只要是你認真想做，有理想，期望能夠達成特定目標的事，就算是工作。 重新校正對工作的定義後，想像一下，如果工作本身是你真心想破關的挑戰，肯定是樂在其中啊！你甚至不覺得你在工作，達到「別人以為你在工作，其實你在玩」的境界。 可能你會好奇，這怎麼可能？ 我以前也不懂，直到踏上創業之路，才發現真的是這樣！ 我根本算不出自己的工時，因為除了和家人伴侶朋友相處的時光，我不是在教課，寫講義，創意發想，拍影片，剪影片，寫文章，發電子報，開會，做網站，思考創業方向 blah blah blah… 但是，我很少感受到以前那種「吼～又要上班」的煩躁。大部分時間我都很亢奮，很投入，很期待接下來會發生的事。 當然擔憂和壓力仍然存在（有時很嚴重），對我來說這是工作的副產物，很正常，畢竟當你有理想，想把事情做好，肯定會有壓力的。 回到Work-life balance，我認為工作本來就是生活的一部分，並非天平的兩端。只是我們需要有意識地找尋生命的目標，當你不斷往目標前進，走在自己想走的路上，工作就不再是阻擋你享受生活的絆腳石。 不過還是記得睡飽就是了～ #寫作 #Day46 #1000words

1000 WORDS by @jamiattenberg (with short letters/essays by so many contributing authors) is a lovely book for any writer to keep on their shelf. It took me a while to read this because (in my opinion) it's not the kind of book you page through, but one you pick up for a short time each day, to read a few pages, absorb their message, feel inspired by the words of encouragement. I underlined so many lines in this book! I've participated in and enjoyed #1000wordsofsummer - the group writing/accountability project that provided the original impetus for this book- and if you're looking for a community of writers, marching toward similar goals (not unlike #NaNoWriMo), you should check it out. Also, listen to the @the_shit_about_writing episode from a few months back in which @biancamarais_author interviews Jami Attenberg, to get a sense of why this book is so wonderful!

【30天日更覆盤】 上個月我參加了「連續創作30天」的活動，由小金魚和PopDaily聯合主辦。 記錄一下心得，順便回顧我的達成率。 ▌本月創作成果： 這個月我總共產出了： - 15篇文章 - 2部YouTube長片 - 3部短影音 - 4封電子報長文 不算不知道，算起來頓時覺得這成績我蠻滿意的。 原本我有點心虛，因為我從第二週後，就逐漸Fade out了。 我沒有參與社群的每日回報，每週的線上座談時間我總是在教課，連我最期待的實體聚會，都因為和皮拉提斯培訓強碰而放棄了。 ▌原本抗拒的事，沒有這麼難 發現身體知識文的切入點 為了有參加活動的儀式感，我選了「皮拉提斯知識文」當主題，打算來日更30天皮拉提斯的內容。 結果：失敗！哈哈 不過多虧了日更營的推力，我完成了6篇專業文。 我以前的專業文總是難產，心理阻力很大的原因是，我認為身體知識需要圖像＋影片的視覺輔助，才能讓觀眾看懂，單純文字不夠力。 但，圖像＋影片 = 超費力 光想到我就倒退50步。 不過這次寫的幾篇身體文，我發現其實文字仍然有適合的切入點，例如這幾篇：〈如何挑選皮拉提斯老師？〉、〈你的服務不該削價競爭〉 ▌不知不覺成為了創作者 在加入日更營前，我剛開始每日寫1000字的計畫。 如果從做頻道算起，創作要滿兩年了！ 經過這個月，我發現，原來持續創作對我來講，已經成為習慣了！ 這是個很驚訝地發覺，當你一直以來都心繫「我要如何才能持續創作」，佩服創作前輩竟然能連續日更好幾個365天。然後突然發現，欸，我早就已經在這樣做了？！ 儘管第二週後我就跟不上社群的活動，我仍持續在創作，這正是創作營的初衷，我達成了。 ▌新的身份認同 我第一次知道小金魚的創作營，是收到早安傑森的邀請，用一個插花的角色去了實體Meetup活動。 印象最深刻的是，小金魚說：「我們都是創作者。」 那天回家的路上，我心裡的小小聲音說：「我是創作者？原來我是創作者嗎？」 那是第一次，除了物理治療師以外，我產生了新的自我認同，我是創作者。 ▌自由的創作，自由地成為自由的人 這句話來自創作營的靈感刮刮樂(見照片)，是小金魚設計讓大家在活動時用，我才刮到第五天。 接下來，沒有靈感時我就可以刮一格，我還有25格呢～嘿嘿 謝謝小金魚 @goldfishblog ，你對創作的熱情感染了我，希望未來的我們都能自由的創作，自由地成為自由的人。 #寫作 #1000words #創作

Hiya! Zoals je in #wherethewildthingsare van afgelopen dinsdag (zie linktr.ee in bio) kon lezen ben ik weer een beetje in beweging. Fysiek was ik dat al wel 😜 maar nu geestelijk en artistiek ook weer. Blij mee. Feeling v much alive, ook al ben ik een beetje moe. Vandaag zit ik eindelijk weer eens voor langer dan 30 min ononderbroken aan mijn nieuwe solovoorstelling (speelt vanaf november 2024). Het is een voorstelling, een personage wat tot op grote hoogte beïnvloed werd door mijn acteercarrière tot nu toe. Tot ik met Koen en Yorick @stokerijschiedam oprichtte, moest ik maar afwachten wat voor rollen ik te spelen kreeg en raakte ik al snel gefrustreerd hoe weinig interessante vrouwelijke rollen er voor mij als jonge acteur beschikbaar waren. Jonkvrouwen in nood, of jonkvrouwen vermomd als een sterke vrouw, omdat hun verhaallijn eruit bestond dat ze ruzie hadden met een man. Vaak niet al te ingewikkeld, vaak niet zo geloofwaardig en vaak met als enige functie dat er een man verliefd op ze was. Uiteindelijk begon ik de personages die ik wilde spelen zelf te schrijven. En te spelen. I’m a lucky (and very hard working) woman. Maar de boze, provocerende, perverse vrouw die ik zo graag zou zien op het toneel, die schreef ik nog niet. Tot nu toe. Verheug je maar vast. So glad I was able to attend @jamiattenberg’s talk/day-drinking event last week, part of this year’s @vabookfest. (I already appreciated Jami b/c of a kind cold invitation she’d extended my way a few years ago.) But with her 1,000 words book/ project she’s formalized that gracious hospitality with a collection of mini essays or pep talks from authors in her diverse writing community, as well as an invitation to write 1,000 words a day for some number of days— in community if you can swing it. Already, this humble idea has helped me get more down on the page; and I know at least one other local writer friend who is a new fan. This person reported writing by hand the first day after Jami’s event , and when she went back to count, she’d penned precisely one thousand words!🌿🙌🏾🍷 #1000wordsofsummer #1000words #vabookfest24
