Tohle je Jára @jara_macik, který nezkazí žádnou srandu. Jára se ke stojkám dostal přes streetworkout. 💪 S workoutem začal zhruba před pěti lety. Když už se do něčeho zakousne, tak u toho vydrží. 👨‍💻 V práci je nadšený programátor, ve volném čase se věnuje workoutu a trénuje po práci skoro každý den. Pokud budeš chtít poradit se silovými prvky jako jsou klik ve stojce, 90 degree push ups nebo třeba planche, určitě se ho na meetupu zeptej na tipy.🤸‍♂️

Five of my Movement Goals in 2024 👇 1. Dragon Squat The full depth flat ground dragon squat is now a priority on my my lower body days twice a week. This one has been a hard slog for me over previous phases with big gaps in between. But now I'm within striking distance it's pedal to the metal to unlock this beast. 2. Windmills To really own these I want 10 consecutive mills with power. Another long term project in the making but with the hardest part now under my belt (sufficient physical conditioning and enough pattern awareness to manage 2 mills), there is light at the end of this tunnel. 3. 90 Degree Push Up Is there any feat of raw push strength more phenomenal than the 90 degree push up? 80 degrees on Pbars is my current level but with focus this year I hope to take these to the flat ground. 4. Soft Acrobatic Transitions More stranding transition options for my soft acrobatic and locomotion practice. 5. One Arm Handstand This one is a beast and from all accounts it's unlikely I'll tick this off this year but I'll put in my weekly efforts 3 times a week to push the needle towards a hold as far as I can. Im also working on BJJ and Mobility goals this year. Have you set your 2024 goals? I often have crazy ideas and set the bar high for myself, there is something addictive about trying to be better then yesterday. I may not choose to improve in ways that others think I should but I'm have fun with it 😜 For the longest time I've wanted to do a 90° pushup 🤸🏻‍♂️ This is the first time I've managed to control the negative of any variation of this in a controlled way without touching the ground at the bottom 🤩 That feeling of doing something you couldn't is awesome 😎 I truly believe in most cases the only thing limiting is time and our own minds 🤔 What will you commit to today? 😁 #inversion #90degreepushup #handstand #fun

2 sets with 2 different feedbacks: 1st set - balance was off but the strength was there 2nd set - balance felt better but the strength was lower (fatigue also comes into play since I did 2 sets of 4 straddle 90 degree HSPU before this combination) The main thing with these types of movements is that if you neglect the technique you will probably fail, but if you focus more on the movement you will drain your strength a little bit more since you will have to remain in control.. having both at the same level = perfection if you ask me. How does this feel for me? I have a specific feel that I am searching for in each part of my body (Shoulders, core, hips, knees, feet, elbows, hands.. etc.) and as I move trough specific skill like in this video or when I am doing HSPU, FL, Pike Presses etc. in my mind it feels like the information is bouncing back and forth.. the mind to muscle connection I developed when I was working a lot on my technique.. (trying, testing, failing, learning) I know what is the right position and what is the wrong position for the skills I did practice.. for skills that are new to me I don't have this developed yet, but it's something I will learn as I start to practice it.. Calisthenics is demanding however you look at it, there are a lot of factors that are coming into play.. that's a big reason why you cant "rush" with it.. it takes time to develop the techique as well as strength.. In the end it comes to this - you have to practice both! Strength alone is crap if you don't know how to use it. Testing and tying different variations is something that you will have to do in order to maximize your technique gains. I wouldn't be able to do this if I havent done them before.. but if my strength wasn't at this stage right now I wouldn't be able to do this at all. Some sets or I could say a lot of sets, are not perfect when you are learning a new skills like HSPU, Handstand, 90 Degree HS, Planche - lowering/pressing/holding etc.. Sometimes I feel strong, but my technique is a little bit off, where on other days it's the total opposite.. or on some days both tend to be really bad.. but what do you do? - You learn how to train on these days. It will take time but you will learn how and what approach you want to take.. Usually I overshoot some things, but I just reset and continue.. (I do this when strength is not a problem.. but when it is it's gets even worse) Sometimes I drop the exercise and move on by regressing it enough so I can finish the session.. sometimes I just push trough it, or if my body says "Enough, you need rest." - I tend to listen. A LOT of sets I have done like this over the past years which I actually brought a lot of gains because you learn a lot from them. Frustration was there, but I learned how to dial it down and actually not obsess about it. In the beginning it was driving me crazy because I wanted everything to be good.. which is impossible! What I could suggest is - If you are new to Calisthenics, be aware of these things. Allenamento estivo Agosto è il mese delle vacanze per eccellenza, e anche se magari non si va da nessuna parte, spesso c’è proprio il bisogno di tirare un pò il fiato e riposarsi. Per esempio, io, come tutti gli anni, mi allenerò in maniera molto tranquilla, poco volume e poche sedute. L’idea è di stare attivi, per poi riprendere carichi a settembre, senza aver perso gran che del livello raggiunto nei mesi precedenti. Ma come fare? Vediamo qualche punto per rendere efficace un allenamento breve e poco voluminoso 1) Concentrarsi sugli esercizi principali della propria programmazione: volendo togliere volume e sedute, dovremmo anche eliminare il superfluo e concentrarci solo sugli esercizi principali; non è qui che ci serviranno i complementari ed il lavoro di fino, quindi poche serie degli esercizi/obbiettivo e via 2) Scegliere esercizi comodi: ricordando sempre di rispettare il punto uno, spesso si può disporre di un ventaglio di alternative. Per esempio, spinta verticale, ovviamente per “eccellere” bisogna specializzarsi e martellare su un movimento, ma se per le 4 settimane di agosto non fate la military (carica e scarica il bilanciere, metti scarpe, metti cintura, metti polsini etc) ma fate solo hspu full rom al muro (verticale su parallele e via), ne guadagnerete in tempo/stress e non perderete gran che 3) Tirate a cedimento senza paura: facendo poche serie, consiglio di tirare quelle poche abbastanza al limite, in modo che siano allenanti. VARIANTI TRAZIONI PRONE In questo carosello vedremo qualche variante delle trazioni prone. Ovviamente queste sono alcune delle varianti possibili, non vuole essere un elenco completo, che sarebbe impossibile da stilare visto anche che ci possono essere tantissime sotto-categorie da poter usare. Trazioni prone mezzo rom in partenza: qui il lavoro è concentrato nella prima parte del movimento; da un punto di vista tecnico è estremamente utile per migliorare la gestione delle scapole. Questa è anche un ottima variante per fare volume con stress per le articolazioni decisamente inferiore alla versione completa Trazioni prone mezzo rom in chiusura: qui si fa a lavorare la porzione finale di movimento, spesso molto critica e difficoltosa in questa tipologia di trazione; spesso infatti viene fatta per “inerzia”, e lavorarla in maniera specifica può essere molto utile per imparare ad imprimere forza anche nella parte finale del movimento Isometria fronte alla sbarra e isometria mento sopra: le isometrie sono utili per andare a lavorare e a mettere forze in angoli specifici; qui vediamo quelle principali, ma nulla vieta di andare a lavorare in un qualsiasi angolo del movimento, specie se vengono riscontrate difficoltà in un punto preciso Trazioni prone con i fermi: qui ho inserito un fermo a 120° dopo lo sblocco, e uno mento sopra; ovviamente possono essere inseriti più o meno fermi, e si può andare a scegliere angoli diversi. PULL DAY Dopo aver visto nello scorso post una giornata “push”, oggi vediamo una giornata “pull” Gli allenamenti sono 6xweek, 3 push e 3 pull alternate Trazioni neutre agli anelli 6x2 @ 50kg - riappoggio dei piedi a terra tra le reps, chiusura al mento (ho posizionato l’elastico in modo che funga da “sbarra”) Trazioni prone mezzo rom in partenza 3x8/10 @ 25kg - salita controllata, focus sul deprimere bene e sul cercare di essere il più simmetrici possibili. Si arriva fronte alla sbarra. Trazioni prone al mento 1x20, 1x15 - tengo un paio di serie ad “alte” reps per mantenere l’abitudine; il livello è ancora drammatico, ma ci arrivo abbastanza stanco, la forza ancora non è appieno recuperata e sono ancora abbastanza pesante. E le scuse dovrei averle usate tutte. Vediamo una progressione lineare di apprendimento dei piegamenti in verticale al muro Il primo esercizio che vediamo sono i V-push ups con piedi su rialzo; partiamo stando bene verticali, scendiamo fino a toccare la fronte oltre il livello delle mani poi invertiamo il movimento ritrovando la verticalità. Quando lo padroneggiamo bene, possiamo passare alla versione con un rialzo (qui ho usato le parallele, più difficile di un rialzo piatto); vi consiglio di mettere un rialzo della stessa altezza in aggiunta anche ai piedi, per rimanere ben settati in partenza. Lo step successivo sono gli hspu con rialzo sotto la testa: si ha un range di movimento ridotto, in modo che l’esercizio sia più facile, e per questo consiglio di abbinarlo sempre ai v push ups in modo da avere lavoro anche sul rom completo. Una volta padroneggiati bene gli hspu con rialzo sotto la testa, possiamo via via iniziare ad eliminarlo per passare a fare il movimento completo, arrivando a toccare con la fronte a terra: partiamo bene a braccia tese, scendiamo controllati portando la fronte a terra sempre oltre il livello delle mani e senza buttare troppo fuori i gomiti, poi invertiamo il movimento tornando a braccia tese. Infine, anche qui possiamo aumentare la difficoltà usando un rialzo per aumentare il rom Esercizi accessori coi pesi che possono essere utili sono sicuramente la military press e le spinte sopra la testa, che consiglio assolutamente di fare se possedete l’attrezzatura adatta Ovviamente questa è un progressione super semplice e super lineare, poi le difficoltà che si incontrano nel percorso potranno essere molte! Qualche variante della Military press da inserire nei propri allenamenti, scrivetemi nei commenti se e quali eseguite 👇 Military press da seduto: un ottima variante, soprattuto per chi non l’ha mai fatta, che toglie totalmente l’aiuto delle gambe e “costringe” a stare anche un pò più verticali con il busto. Qui, se non l’avete mai fatta, i kg calano parecchio rispetto a come siete abituati. Si potrebbe fare anche con schienale ma in quel caso poi l’appoggio aiuta. Military press coi fermi: Qui ho eseguito un fermo al mento, uno alla fronte, ed uno a braccia tese; variante molto utile per mettere forza nei vari punti. Siate morbidi nel passare tra un fermo e l’altro Military press mezzo rom in partenza: Qui ci si concentra sulla parte iniziale del movimento; particolarmente utile per imparare a gestire al meglio la traiettoria, e fare quella parte in maniera anche muscolare visto che spesso viene “bypassata” con un colpo secco. Big big day back - Crossed off the 10x stalder goal (that last rep will make your eyes hurt) - Stung a few double 90 degree push ups for the first time - Got some very sketchy switches in succession also for the first time There’s some rough edges on these sets but I loooove it. The main theme of this session was just go to fatigue. Seriously rehearsing for a few months and then performing for 6 weeks meant my regular training got pushed aside for pointed toes and locked knees. It felt so good to be able to go to fatigue on any exercise I wanted. The freedom to train was back. I’ll write another post on the Fringe festival and its ups and downs but man it felt good to let out this pent up energy on some serious strength stuff. Bent knees, flexed feet and all. Qualche spezzone dell’ultima settimana di allenamento: 100kg in Military press, che finché il peso corporeo mi assiste cercherò di farlo con regolarità 90° degree e hspu su parallele, qui il peso corporeo non assiste per niente ma teniamo i movimenti per quando arriveranno tempi più leggeri 2x4 Trazioni anelli con 40kg, 2x6 Trazioni anelli con 30kg, 2x8 Trazioni prone mezzo rom in partenza: dopo molto tempo sono riuscito a rimettere le trazioni agli anelli, grazie alla sbarra alta dell’Half rack che mi permette di mettere gli anelli alla giusta altezza per le trazioni, cosa che prima in garage non riuscivo a fare. Some of my favorite 90 degree push-up variations! 1. Full 90 degree push-up Or also known as the gymnastics push-up. Harder than the straddle because of the increased length of the lever. 2. Straddle 90 degree push-up I’ve been using these the past 6 months to build up repetitions. 3. The Dead press ☠️ Easily the hardest variation of the 4. 4. Dead stop 90 degree push-ups Harder than the straddle 90 because of the pause at the bottom. You are taking the momentum out of the stretch shortening cycle of the eccentric. But still not as hard as the dead press because your keeping some of the kinetic energy in the muscles. If I shake my arms out at the bottom it then feels just as hard as dead press. Use this 4th technique to help bridge the gap between 90s and dead press. #90degreepushup #90degreepushups #gymnasticpushup #deadpress #deadstop
