Bodyweight ab workout 👍 Up down plank Crossbody & side mountain climbers Tuck up/v-up V up & overs (people usually do it over a dumbbell but that’s more for cueing, you can just visualize lol) Sets/reps are just a recommendation/what I did. If it’s not enough or too much, you can perform to failure as well. Working out alone may not be enough to get visual abs. Different factors also play a role such as if you have a higher BFP (in which case, a slight calorie deficit over time would help lower that) and genetics (plays a major role in the shape as well). HIP FLEXOR STRETCHES These are some of my go to modifications of classic hip flexors stretches like the split squat, the long lunge and the couch stretch. From first to last 1️⃣Weighted Hip Flexor Stretch Great for stubborn and stiff adults trying to improve their flexibility in later ages. 2️⃣BFE OH Split Squat If regular split squats are to easy and you still want a dynamic hip flexor stretch this one will get the job done. 3️⃣Eccentric Long Lunge Pulses A great ”in between” when working from long lunges to front splits. The pulses create a high degree of force into the tissues which is 👍🏼 4️⃣BFE Hip Extensions This is a great alternative if you can’t get the most out of a classic long lunge due to restrictions in the ankle or big toe. ʜᴀɴᴅꜱᴛᴀɴᴅ (ꜱᴛʀᴀɪɢʜᴛ ᴠꜱ. ᴄᴜʀᴠᴇᴅ) Swipe right to see my long term curved Handstand. It seemed there was no way to get rid of it. There are dozens of tutorials out there which are saying to squeeze your abs. Here’s how I achieved the straight handstand and how I understood what “squeezing abs” really meant: 1. Shoulder flexibility. There will be no straight handstand if you’re not able to keep your arms straight up. For that I recommend using a mirror 🪞 to check your form (side angle). 2. Squeezing abs while performing the handstand. While I was checking my shoulder mobility in front of a mirror, I noticed that I was staying in a curved line. And the only way to get rid of that was to squeeze my abs. You will see that your body will automatically move into a straighter position. So we just had Anzac Day. People were really drunk and I got, “go back to China.”And my friend said, “tell him you’re indigenous!” The last time someone said this to me, random people passing by said, “it’s okay, you can stay.” 🤣 During the height of the pandemic, teens yelled at me, “go back to China, go eat dog.” And I yelled back, “it’s bats thank you! Haven’t you seen the news? I eat bats!” It’s all just banter to me and I love the banter. It made me miss the Australia I knew as a teen, where racism wasn’t talked about much, so it was all just banter. We had MSN messenger back then and I was, “French Stirfry” or something (cause I’m French Asian) haha everyone had names like this, which would probably be considered racist these days. I don’t know. Do people get easily offended these day and not work things out with each other anymore? It’s all designed to pit us against each other and the only winners, are bankers. Body weight EMOM • no equipment needed ⏱️set a timer for 15 minutes • every minute on the minute perform 5 reps of this burpee variation: burpee ➡️ jumping lunges ➡️ jumping air squat (this is one rep) • once 5 reps are completed, rest for the remainder of the minute. Repeat for 15 minutes. Key notes: • These video clips are from my first set and my last set at the 15 minute mark. I consistently completed my 5 reps in ~30 seconds or less. • if you feel that you are not getting enough rest, shorten the reps to 3 or 4 reps each minute. Can you complete all 15 rounds??
