7 weeks out. Weight here is 214-217lbs 2 cardio days a week low intensity on the bike for 30 mins on rest days. 5 training days. Calories are 3k-4.5k depending on a high day or low day. Usually refeeds at a new low weight. Once I’m 2 weeks out I should be able to just eat maintenance/small surplus to drop off all my fatigue going into the show. Talk about the diet to get that body. I had to count every single thing, endure so much cardio, and make many mental and physical sacrifices. I was beat, but I hate losing. I’m very competitive, I’ll outwork everyone, let the results do the talking. I don’t miss the competing days, that body is not realistic. But the second pic for me is easy to maintain because of my healthy habits and my standards. And no cardio, it’s a lifestyle, not even dieting. LA GRAND PRIX WEEKEND RECAP: My athlete @adapt2.fit.steven made a major comeback from 2 years of being off the stage, being his 2nd show! We brought out his best package up to date with 5lbs up from his previous package. This prep was not easy for him as he had struggled to find balance in prep and work but he ended up making it happen! He just trusted the process and worked his butt off! I am very proud we pulled this one off with a bang and this was also his first show being peaked properly! We almost swept the show but lost in the open overall by a coin toss, but no worries! A magia da finalização 🧙♂️ O carb up conhecido como momento em que o atleta enche novamente o físico para mostrá-lo em seu ápice totalmente FULL de carbo,água,sódio dando a impressão que está quase explodindo! Dentre várias maneiras e estratégias possíveis aqui eu dei exemplo da minha no último campeonato em que eu decidi entrar totalmente preenchido, quase já correndo o risco de errar a mão, mas foi a estratégia que achei melhor pra mim no momento a qual me rendeu o vice campeonato. A diferença entre as fotos é de 2 dias apenas e 3kg a mais, nesse processo eu não tenho ciência da quantidade de comida que ingeri mas creio que foi na casa de 12 a 13 mil calorias nesses dois dias. Estratégias para entrar maior, menor, mais full, Dray e tantas outras variáveis são estrategias que o coach deve escolher ao preparar um atleta. Outra peculiaridade é que não sou a favor de traçar uma meta de carboidratos que será ingerido nessa fase, fazendo o processo totalmente de maneira visual como aprendi com grandes nomes do fisiculturismo mundial, no qual levo o pensamento que um treinador acima da média nada mais é que um ótimo tomador de decisões e de visão apurada.
