Momma and daddy-to-be take on the Crossfit open. For the next couple weeks @aron93a will kill the workouts and I’ll do them with him only I’ll be modifying and scaling the workouts as needed. I was inspired to run/jog for 1 whole kilometre by my good friend @cricket2.1 and this morning seemed like a perfect day to get out there and give it a shot! I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed today’s #c25k 😩 I found it so tough. And so hot out, even though it’s not that hot out yet 🤪 But, I did it and even added one extra minute of jogging before the cooldown. I kept telling myself, “I can do hard things” and this was a hard thing for me. I’ve always wished I was a runner, one of the people who goes out for 5km like it’s nothing and doesn’t look like they’re dying. Even when I was much fitter and running on a regular basis in police training, it was never easy, it was always hard. Every single time.
