Today the #WriterFriendsChallenge is asking us: Are you more of a sunrise or sunset writer? I am definitely a sunrise writer. A proud member of the #5amwritersclub, I have been known to write before sunrise although finally, the sun is starting to show her light before 6 am. Lovely to wake up (on a sleep in day) at 6 am and it is light! The Recluse — An Introspective Exercise As someone whose head is filled with characters and stories, I had this preconception that you’d only write your characters if a) you’re creating a character sheet or b) you’re writing book/story content. I see now how limiting this idea was 🫡 Although short in size this was by far the most challenging creative writing exercise I’ve faced. But thanks to that I was able to understand how essential it is to spend time with your characters ✨ in writing ✨ even if your readers never see these snippets.
