How do you want to spend everyday? What is a good day? This is something that came up when I was journalling. Despite having everything that teenage Jasmine wanted I still find myself getting bored, or striving for more than what I currently have. When do we ever feel content? For more than a moment. We’re always striving for that next goal because there’s always something better out there. Always more we could be doing. It can become really overwhelming seeing what other people are doing, comparing our lives to theirs. Make it a goal once a week to have a social media free day. No TikTok, no Instagram, no Facebook. Take time to journal, read, walk, socialise with friends and family. Have a day where you’re not comparing your life to others online and then reflect on how you feel. Do you still feel behind? DE GEZONDHEIDSVOORDELEN VAN OFFLINE GAAN Confession > ik ben verslaafd. Aan mijn telefoon, aan social media, aan eindeloos scrollen. En daar ben ik helemaal niet trots op. Hoe meer ik er mee bezig ben, hoe leger de invulling, hoe verveelder ik me voel en hoe nuttelozer ik mijn avonden besteed. Niet zelden zie ik ons zitten op de bank, ieder in een hoek met telefoon in de hand, laptop op schoot en tv aan. Te erg! Vroeger hadden Jurgen en ik 1 a 2 apparaatloze avonden, vanaf 20 uur moest de telefoon weg en de tv uit. We besteedde de tijd aan muziek luisteren, lezen, schrijven. Heerlijk was dat. En het geeft dus heel veel voordelen. Ik heb hier dus zeker nog wel wat verbeteringen te doen. Excuses aan de kant, ik ga weer een wat vaker offline. Misschien een avond in de week en bijvoorbeeld om de twee weken een weekenddag? Niemand die mij zal missen. Want ik weet dat mijn telefoon wegleggen zorg voor onverdeelde aandacht voor Lola en connectie en verbinding met haar en Jurgen. Daar ga ik voor. Three Tips for Digital Detox for Your Tween/Teen Lead By Example Don't be a hypocrite! If there’s anything that teens don’t respond well to, it’s hypocrisy. If you want to cut back on their screen time, you should first reflect on your own. For example, telling them they can’t use their phone dinner times while you scroll on your own will only lead to resistance and maybe even an argument. Join in on the device detox. Create Family Boundaries Around Device Usage Setting down the devices together as a family will lead to having a built in support system. Ask every one in the family not use their phones in bed or during meal times. Or try something like no devices, past 8pm. Doing it together as a family will be easier and maybe even fun. Come Up With Fun Activities to Do Instead of Device Usage The best way to get your child to put down their device is by filling their time with activities that are more fun/interesting than screen time. Game night, movie night, arts and crafts or a fun family outing are all good ideas. Nebesa 🤩, kjer smo preživeli sobotni dan. 🥰 . Sem želela objavit to lepoto že v soboto, a mi je mobi (ali wifi, kaj pavem) ves čas štekal v soboto zvečer. Ja, nič. Je že tako prav, vse je za nekaj dobro. . Če ne drugega, sem se več in bolj posvetila domačemu vzdušju in veselju, tehnologijo in družabna omrežja pa pustila na strani in bila odklopljena tudi včeraj, ko je moj vsakotedenski dan off od vsega tega ~ #socialmediadetoxday prakticiram ob nedeljah že več kot eno leto/od sredine lanskega oktobra. Najprej sem kar iskala, da bi vsake toliko pogledala FB ali IG na mobiju ali laptopu (pa sem sicer mislila, da pa saj sem@ful malo gor in jaz pa že ne bom pogrešala vsega tega, no, pa sem videla, da ni čisto tako 😅), a sem vztrajala. Dacă nu mai folosim social media, ne este frică că o să pierdem anunțuri importante sau noutăți în cercurile noastre de prieteni. Notificările constante pe care le primim pe telefon ne fac să fim și mai legați de acest sentiment. Cel mai bine este să punem aceste notificările pe mut. 5. Nu te Mai Obsedezi de Trecut Dacă treci printr-o perioada mai grea, ca o despărțire, vei fi tentat să te uiți la postările persoanei care te-a rănit sau părăsit. Aceasta acțiune te va pune într-o stare negativă și obsesivă, care va deschide răni vechi. Cel mai bine este să faci o pauză de la social media și să dai unfollow sau block la persoanele care te-au rănit în trecut ca să poți merge mai departe cu viața ta. 6. Trăiești în Momentul Respectiv Ai tendința să postezi tot ce faci pe social media chiar și atunci când decurge activitatea? Atunci trăiești momentul prin obiectivul camerei în loc să simți cu adevărat experiența. Deși e frumos să-ți documentezi viața așa, experiența ta va fi de o calitate mai mică și mai puțin memorabilă. Trăiește cu adevărat momentul, documentează cu o poză sau video dacă chiar dorești, dar după pune telefonul jos și continuă să fii prezent. Poți posta mai târziu pe social media ca să nu pierzi experiența frumoasă de a fii pe deplin prezent în momentul respectiv. 7. Câștigi Mai Mult Timp Liber Simți că nu ai destul timp liber să faci activitățile pe care ți le dorești? În medie, o persoană petrece aproape două ore pe zi pe social media. Dacă te desprinzi o perioadă, vei fi surprins că vei avea extra timp ca să mergi la sala, sau să citești o carte bună, sau chiar să mergi să te plimbi prin natură. Are you struggling with social media burnout sundrome (a totally madeup term)? Here are some signs - 1. You constantly check your social media apps, even when there is nothing new to be found 2. You scroll mindlessly through your feed when you are in a group or with other people 3. You try to convince yourself that you will start working after one more reel If you resonate with any of these, I have a solution for you (actually 3) - 1. Turn off your mobile data / wifi when not needed. Turn it on when you mindfully decide that you are going to watch Youtube for the next 30 mins or you have to send out a document via mail or you have to check for a map. 2. My phone has a screentime feature that helps me restrict the amount of time I can spend on any app. It locks those apps after the specified time. Every phone may have simila features or you can get a app that offers this service. 3. A lot of times when you are doing something with focus, you are not even thinking about social media. But these notifications are devil's childres. You loose your focus and get back on the social media burnout track. So turn off those notifications and open those apps only when you want to. RELAX - NEUJAHRSVORSATZ NR.1⁣ ⁣ Eins meiner wichtigen Vorsätze für das neue Jahr ist, mehr zu entspannen und zu genießen!⁣ ⁣ Durch eine bessere Wochen- und Monatsplanung sowie ein geschicktes Biohacking habe ich mir vorgenommen, in der gleichen Zeit mehr zu schaffen als bisher, um dadurch mehr Freizeit zu haben. ⁣ ⁣ Und dieses Ziel habe ich bereits letztes WE umgesetzt, indem ich ganz viel entspannt und mir ganz viel Zeit für mich genommen habe - lange Meditation, Social Media Detox und ausgiebiger Spaziergang in der Natur. Dobro je to… Instagram ima puno pozitivnih ali i negativnih strana, često smo usmjereni na krivo i nebitno, pod pritiskom da su životi drugih savršeni, puno bolji od naših… propuštamo toliko toga u stvarnom životu… i dobro je uzeti odmor, pauzu, just a short reality check. Samo uživati u trenutku, upijati sve bez razmišljanja kako uhvatiti savršen Instagramski kadar, pustiti poziranje (ležerno, ozbiljno, ovakvo, onakvo) i samo biti, glupirati se, raditi, što god, ali ne razmišljati o IG-u, algoritmu, broju lajkova i followera, komentarima i hashtagovima… ponašati se kao da IG-a nema… ne ići na IG (ili uopće na mobitel) 24 sata. Živjeti stvaran život. Stvarno je dobro. Mi ćemo definitivno redovito. A vi, jeste probali? Prakticirate redovito?
