Wir starten mit einer nicht zu anspruchsvollen, 7,2 km langen Wanderung zur Devil's Bridge. Wir haben die Wanderung vom Mescal Trailhead gestartet, da sich dieser Parkplatz am besten für unser Wohnmobil geeignet hat. So last week when discussing weekend runs I had my mind set on a local jaunt up the Garth and Forest Fawr with a later start … a few days and the influence of the WhatsApp group found us heading to Pen-Y-Fan for sunrise. . 2:45am alarm, driving with taxis dropping people home from nights out (out how times have changed 🤣), road closures and a divert ready to get going at 4:50am. . 6am sunrise before heading down the other side and on to cover 5 further summits with 3800ft elevation and home by 11:30am 💪🏻 . Surprisingly given how tough some of the ascents were on the old buttocks, the legs are totally fine today and actually did my calf’s a favour despite them screaming at the time 🤣 . Hinter uns liegt ein geniales Rennwochenende🏁. Vom Donnerstag bis Montag waren wir auf dem Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Hier wurde uns Drageracing vom Feinsten geboten. Die PS-starken Racecars haben eine geniale Show abgeliefert. Das aussergewöhnlichste auf dieser Rennstrecke ist, dass sie nicht wie gewöhnlich aus zwei, sondern aus vier Bahnen besteht. Wenn da vier Top Fuel Dragster mit insgesamt etwa 44.000 PS runterheizen, vibriert einem der ganze Körper und die Augen fangen an zu flimmern. Freitag und Samstags wurde bis spät Nachts das 1/4 Meilen Rennen gefahren. Für uns war es ein geniales Event und wir werden sicherlich wieder einmal zum Dragrace nach Las Vegas kommen. Ach übrigens, man kann direkt mit dem Wohnmobil vor Ort stehen und ist somit hautnah dabei. Such an epic day today at the inaugural @bigmoose.charity ultra fun run. When Jeff told me the idea and knew it was going to be amazing but it was that and more!! When I was asked to run a beginners running programme which would help anyone who wanted to get running not only get running for themselves and their mental health but to also feel confident to be involved today, I couldn’t say no and I’m so proud of all my road2run runners who lasted the course and did their victory lap at such an amazing event. I was also so privileged to run with them all and share in their achievements and was an honour to present them with a little surprise award at the end. . Had an itch I had to scratch. Ran gates belt drive.i could not find stainless steel cog ran an alloy in rear. As you can see I barely made it Sand chewed up teeth. Photo compares new cog and the chewed up one. Plus it squeaks. Over it for Offroad action. I stopped and brushed belt dozens of times. Dirt and such does not clear out like chain. Chainline and tension was perfect. Sharp spots on cog started destroy belt. Also got numb fingers on fleft hand because I kept resting palm on strap holding Bluetooth switch for headlight. Dumb. Getting used to new trainers has been hard going on the lower legs but it’s a means to an end and perseverance is absolutely the right thing as since I switched shoes the hips have improved massively.
