You’ve got to try PSSM SWAGG’s Vegan Dal Makhani recipe – a taste sensation that’s good for you and the planet! 🌱🍲 Ingredients: - 1 cup whole black lentils (sabut urad dal), soaked overnight - 1/4 cup red kidney beans (rajma), soaked overnight - 1 medium onion, finely chopped - 1-inch piece of ginger, grated - 2 green chilies, finely chopped - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon coriander powder - 1 teaspoon cumin powder - 1 teaspoon garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste) - 2 tablespoons tomato paste - 2 tablespoons vegan butter or oil - Salt to taste - 1/2 cup vegan cream - Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing - Water as needed Instructions: 1. Rinse the soaked lentils and kidney beans under running water. In a pressure cooker, add the lentils, kidney beans, and enough water to cover them. Pressure cook until they are soft and well cooked. 2. In a separate pan, heat vegan butter or oil. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 3. Add chopped onions, green chilies, and grated ginger. Saute until the onions are translucent. 4. Add all the spices - turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute. 5. Stir in the vegan cream and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. The cream will add richness and creaminess to the dish. 9. Check for seasoning and adjust salt and spices if needed. 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti. Adding vegan cream at the end will give your dal makhni a luxurious and creamy texture. Olive Oil 🍶 ½ c. Yogurt 🌿 2 tsp. Cumin 🍋 1 Lemon, sliced into wedges 🧂 Salt and Pepper, to taste 🌶️ 2 tbsp. Sky Valley Sambal Oelek, for serving - 1️⃣ Cook rice in a saucepan. Set aside. 2️⃣ Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place cubed eggplant, chickpeas, and tomatoes on the lined baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil evenly over the ingredients and quickly toss them to distribute the oil. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the mixture and toss again. #holi2024 #RangBarse #recipepost #recipeoftheweek #thandaigulabjamuncups Holi is incomplete without thandai and Gulabjamuns atleast for my family 👪 so I thought why can't I give it a twist and made fusion of thandai and gulabjamuns ♥️ So here it is step by step recipe so that you all can try this and enjoy it on Holi ♥️💛♥️ Ingredients For the base • 2 cups (240gms) crushed biscuits • 6tbsp (90gms) melted butter For the filling • 4tbsp (60gms) custard powder • ¾ cup (180ml) milk • 4tbsp (50gms) sugar • 1 + ¼ cup (300ml) milk • 3tbsp (45gms) thandai powder • And if you are using market bought thandai powder then skip adding sugar because it already have sugar . For garnishing : Gulabjamun rasbhari 8 pc (store bought) Slices pistachios rose petals and kesar and almonds . Instructions • In a food processor blitz some digestive biscuits till they crush down into fine crumbs and measure out 2 cups. Add melted butter to the crushed biscuits and combine the two making sure all the crumbs are well coated with butter. • Take your serving jars and put 4-5 tablespoons of the biscuit mixture in each. Pat the mixture down with your spoon and refrigerate the jars for 10-15 minutes. • To make the custard, in a small bowl combine custard powder and ¾ cup milk. Give this a good mix and set it aside. • In a saucepan over medium heat, add in 1 and ¼ cup milk, thandai powder, and sugar. Bring this to a slight boil and then pour in the custard and milk mixture into the saucepan. Keep whisking till the mixture comes to a boil and becomes thick. • Cover the top with cling wrap and let the custard cool down at room temperature. • Once cooled, pour it into the prepared jars and garnish with gulab jamun slices or as you wish. Twice-Baked Potato Salad Boats - easy and delicious! Ingredients: 3 large potatoes 1 head Romaine lettuce, torn into pieces ½ cup melted butter 3 tablespoons Tnuva Feta Cow’s Milk Cheese, Crumbled Dressing: 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 clove garlic Juice from 1 lemon ½ teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon mayonnaise ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper ½ cup olive oil Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 400⁰F. 2. Scrub potatoes (do not peel) and place them, whole, on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Roast for about 30 minutes or until soft. 3. Cool slightly. Slice each potato in half and carefully remove the insides. Let cool. Dice the insides of the potatoes. 4. Place the potato jackets alongside the diced potato onto a baking pan that is lined with parchment paper. Brush the inside of the potato jackets with butter and sprinkle the diced potatoes with the rest of the butter. Roast in the oven at 400⁰F until crispy and golden. 5. Combine the dressing ingredients with an immersion blender. 6. Toss the lettuce and the diced, roasted potato. Stuff into the potato jackets. 7. Fresh Cilantro 🍚Cooked Jasmine Rice 🌶️ Sky Valley Green Sriracha 🥜 ¼ c. Roasted Peanuts 🧄 ¼ c. Fried Shallots 🥝 4 Lime Wedges - 1️⃣ Add 2 tbsp. oil to a large pan.
