The Grey เป็นข้อพิสูจน์แบบเต็มๆ ครับว่าสูตรหนังสัตว์โลกน่ารักที่หลายคนบอกว่าตันแล้ว ทำให้สนุกไม่ได้แล้ว หรือทำได้แค่หนังเกรดบีเท่านั้นน่ะ มันไม่จริงแต่อย่างใด เพราะสูตรนี้นะครับถ้าทำดีๆ ใส่รายละเอียดให้เหมาะ เลือกดารามาเล่นดีๆ กำหนดบทแบบใส่ใจไม่ใช่เขียนแบบมั่วๆ บทสนทนาก็ต้องฟังแล้วชวนคิดไม่ใช่ชวนง่วง แล้วก็ต้องหมั่นสร้างความตื่นเต้นให้โดนๆ แค่นี้เราก็จะได้หนังสัตว์ทำร้ายคนที่ดูแล้วใจหายใจคว่ำ และชวนดูซ้ำมาอีกเรื่องแล้ว ผมชอบบทสรุปของเรื่องนะครับ มันดูพอดี (ต้องบอกก่อนว่าหนังเรื่องนี้มีฉากซ่อนหลังเครดิตนะครับ คุณจะได้รู้ชะตากรรมสุดท้ายที่แท้จริง) สื่อถึงคนเราเมือ่ถึงที่สุดแล้ว มันก็ต้องพยายามให้เต็มที่ สู้ดูซักตั้งอย่าเพิ่งยอมแพ้อะไรง่ายๆ ลองดูก่อนครับ เราอาจแพ้แต่ก็ดีกว่าแพ้โดยที่ไม่ทันได้ทำอะไร เพราะไม่แน่ว่าเราอาจชนะก็ได้ ไม่ว่าเรื่องอะไรก็เถอะครับ ลองดู ลองสู้ ดูสิว่าเราจะไปได้ถึงไหน ลองทำให้เต็มที่ อยากบอกว่าชอบหนังเรื่องนี้ครับ ตอนแรกก่อนดูผมก็นึกถึงหนังอย่าง The Edge ไม่แน่ใจว่าเคยได้ดูกันไหมนะครับ Anthony Hopkins เล่นกัน Alec Baldwin แต่เรื่องจะคล้ายๆ กัน ว่าด้วยคนที่ไปเครื่องบินตกกลางป่า แล้วก็ต้องหาทางเอาตัวรอดกัน โดยนอกจากจะต้องระวังภัยจากธรรมชาติแล้ว ยังต้องระวังกันเองอีกด้วย หนังเรื่องนั้นก็สนุกครับ จนผมยกให้เป็นหนังท่องป่าชวนระทึกที่เข้าท่ามากอีกเรื่อง แต่ตอนนี้คงต้องยกให้ The Grey เหนือกว่าหน่อยแล้วล่ะครับ ถ้าชอบหนังแนวนี้ (เข้าป่าไปเจอภัยร้าย) ผมแนะนำเรื่อง The Edge แล้วก็ Deliverance ครับ เรื่องหลังนี่เข้าขั้นคลาสสิคเลยล่ะ The Grey (2012) (7.5/10) ดูจาก #Monomax #Monomaxx #JoeCarnahan #DermotMulroney #FrankGrillo #JamesBadgeDale #LiamNeeson #10000tip
Smokin' Aces (2006) 🇺🇸 俺も、あいつも、彼女も、狙うはお前の心臓だ。 ------------------------------------------------------ 大物マフィアに100万ドルの賞金を心臓にかけられたマジシャン通称”エース”を巡り、世界中の暗殺者たちが殺しにかかる。一方FBIも司法取引を持ちかけられ、巻き込まれる羽目に。一体彼の心臓は、誰のもとに＿ ------------------------------------------------------ どことなくガイ・リッチー監督作品を感じさせるような映画だった。ガイ・リッチー監督といえば『スナッチ』や『ロック、ストック&トゥー・スモーキング・バレルズ』などクセ強いキャラたちが暴れ回ったり、奇抜な作風、そのスタイリッシュさ、素早いカット割りを駆使した独特な雰囲気を描く作品が多い。この映画も出てくる暗殺者たちの個性強いキャラクターや物語のテンポのいい展開に、ガイリッチー作品に似てるなあと思った。まあでも監督は、Joe Carnahanっていう人で全然違うかったんだけど（初めましてだった）。 筋書きは至ってシンプルだが、主な登場人物とエースを狙う理由を押さえとかなけりゃ、気づいたらほっていかれる。 心臓を狙われているのは元人気マジシャンのイズラエル（通称エース） 彼の心臓に賞金をかけたボス、スパラッザ 司法取引のために身柄の確保を狙うFBI捜査官の二人組（スパラッザの逮捕狙い） 賞金狙いの警察崩れのチンピラ三人組 とにかくやりすぎる（殺りすぎる）脳筋三兄弟 レズビアン気質のスナイパーと暗殺者女コンビ ”破壊屋”の異名をもつ拷問術に優れた指紋を食いちぎった過去のある傭兵アコスタ そしてかつてマフィア潜入に成功した唯一のFBIヘラー捜査官（のちにFBIのミスで正体がバレてスパラッザに殺された） ここまでが冒頭わずか二十分で怒涛に明かされる紹介みたいなもので、ここを捉えきれずにいるともう何が何だかわからない。とにかくエースを狙う彼らの戦いがホテルで始まる。紛争したり、なんかもう銃撃戦始まったり、まあいえば早いもんがちだからみんな殺気だってわちゃわちゃな訳。エースの部下に紛争して近づいて殺そうとしたりする奴もいれば、真っ向から武器持って勝負かけようとする奴もいるし、女たちは娼婦たちと一緒に潜入しようとするし、そらあばったり合っちゃっり不毛な殺し合いが始まるでしょうよと言わんばかりの。それが意外と流血ダラダラの派手な感じでびっくりした。B級色強めだなと思ってたから余計そこ結構殺るんだ、みたいな。 まあなんか色々合って、スパラッザもエースも病院で治療を受け（つまりFBIの手に渡った）という形で捕獲されたわけなんだけども、実はスパラッザと思っていたのは死んだはずのヘラー捜査官だったというまさかなオチ。んで挙句、相棒を失ったFBI捜査官はFBIの不甲斐なさかなんか失望したのか、彼らの生命器具を外して終わりという。何ともなし崩しというか、、、、前半まで良かったし、後半にかけておおおおいいおいおいとなるんだよなあ。だからガイリッチー監督好きな人には物足りなさがあると思うし、普通にみたら、え、わからんってなりそう。巧妙さに欠ける気がした！！！ ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿

Avete presente il #Cult #RicominciodaCapo / #GroundhogDay di #HaroldRamis con un impareggiabile #BillMurray e la sempre intensa e sensibile #AndieMacDowell ? Questo #actionmovie bizzarro e fantascientifico ne è una versione ancora visto più rocambolesca e adrenalinica al limite di un video-game (non a caso è citato #StreetFighter )con un #MelGibson nel ruolo del cattivo di turno, un protagonista che in verità non conoscevo come #FrankGrillo che fa il verso proprio a un certo Gibson degli anni d'oro, la sempre affascinante #NaomiWatts e la brava #MichelleYeoh , un cast di tutto rispetto e una regia sicura e divertita di #JoeCarnahan . Ovviamente il plot è più "Fanta"che Scienza e il tutto assume la dimensione del puro intrattenimento senza molte pretese, ma sicuramente è uno di quei films che ti tiene incollato fino alla fine anche se proprio il finale lascia un po' delusi forse non lasciando intuire molto di ciò che succederà, forse per sperare di ricavarne altri sequels se il film avesse sfondato al botteghino, cosa che pare non molto riuscita in questo senso visto che è stato prodotto e uscito nella fase pandemica. Sicuramente il punto più serio è una riflessione sul ruolo della famiglia nella vita di un individuo che crede di sentirsi libero e svincolato dagli affetti e doveri familiari salvo ricredersi poco a poco sia nel rapporto con il figlio che con la moglie nonostante i vari tradimenti. Bello l'inserimento della classica e azzeccata #Foreplay / #LongTime dal primo omonimo album senza tempo e sempre fresco ancora oggi. Da vedere senza pensieri. Als er mit anderen Arbeitern zurück in die Heimat reist, stürzt das Flugzeug in der Wildnis ab. Nur wenige der Insassen überleben. Für sie beginnt ein harter Kampf. Sie sind Hunger, eisiger Kälte und vor allem einem Wolfsrudel ausgesetzt. Ottway versucht vergeblich, alle Verbliebenen Richtung Süden zu führen. . #liamneeson hat geschafft, wovon viele andere Stars nur träumen, nämlich sich im Alter nochmal als Actionstar neu zu erfinden. Jedoch muss man auch festhalten das viele dieser Filme eher schwankendes Niveau aufweisen. #thegrey siedelt sich nun irgendwo in der Mitte an. Gewonnt wortkarg präsentiert sich Neesons Figur, steht damit aber den anderen in Nichts nach. Die Dialoge sind wenig und ein wenig platt, erfüllen aber ihre Aufgaben. Wirklich viel erfahren tut man über die Figuren nicht, alle bleiben oberflächlich und verschwommen, was leider zu einer gewissen Distanz zu den Figuren führt. Regisseur #joecarnahan schafft es dafür aus den einfachen Storyprämisse inszenatorisch einiges rauszuholen, auch wenn man das Gesehene natürlich zu keiner Zeit durchdenken denn nichts davon würde einer logischen Überprüfung standhalten. Kann man das ausblenden, dann kann man definitiv eine Menge Spaß mit dem Gesehenen haben. Der Kampf Mensch gegen Wolf hat einige stimmige Momente, ein wenig Blut und mit #kanada eine unglaublich schöne Kulisse. Following a grueling five-week shift at an Alaskan oil refinery, workers led by sharpshooter John Ottway (Liam Neeson) are flying home for a much-needed vacation. A brutal storm causes their plane to crash in the frozen wilderness, and only eight men (Frank Grillo, Dermot Mulroney), including Ottway, survive. As they trek southward toward civilization and safety, Ottway and his companions must battle mortal injuries, the icy elements, and a pack of hungry wolves. According to Liam Neeson’s account, the temperatures were as low as -40 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees Fahrenheit) in Smithers, British Columbia, where the film was shot. The snowstorms/scenes were real prevailing weather conditions, and not a cinematic illusion produced with CGI (interview: Episode #20.70 (2012)). The cast wore thermals under their costumes for additional protection. In his glowing review of this film, Roger Ebert stated that in his long career, this was the only time that he actually walked out of his next scheduled screening because it affected him so. “After The Grey (2011) was over, I watched the second film for thirty minutes and then got up and walked out of the theater. It was the first time I’ve ever walked out of a film because of the previous film. The way I was feeling in my gut, it just wouldn’t have been fair to the next film.” Wolf attacks are extremely rare in North America. Only a mere handful have taken place, and mostly by animals infected by rabies. Joggers, hikers and people who have stumbled upon wolf cubs and dens are the primary victims of attacks. ** Time Travelers Double Feature ** . Edge of Tomorrow actually took a couple of repeat viewings to grow on me, but eventually, it did. And while I might watch it more for Bill Paxton than Tom Cruise, it's still become one of my favorite action films of 2014. . Likewise, for Boss Level, Joe Carnahan's 2020 shot at the die and repeat trope. I actually enjoy Boss Level more, it's a hilarious blend of Smoking Aces and a video game like repeat setup. Tons of fun! . And if you've got an entire 8 hours to spare, why not throw in Source Code (2011) as well. . Opinião Pessoal: Segundo filme do bom diretor Joe Carnahan, NARC é um dos filmes mais subestimados de que se tem notícia. O que é uma tremenda infelicidade. Feito com um orçamento de fome (Patric e Liotta fizeram o filme praticamente de graça), este thriller criminal é tão realista quanto tenso. Carnahan usa e abusa da câmera na mão, o que só aumenta o realismo e a sensação de instabilidade que permeia sua dupla de protagonistas, dois tiras com um passado sujo, em busca de uma redenção que provavelmente nunca virá. Nos papéis dos tiras, Patric e Liotta são o coração e alma do filme, sem dúvida nas melhores atuações de suas respectivas carreiras, e a direção nua e crua de Carnahan é uma atração à parte. Que saudade destes bons e velhos filmes policiais que praticamente não existem mais... Cena Preferida: A fortíssima sequência de abertura dá o tom do filme. A produção já começa colocando o espectador em um pesadelo monocromático em tons de azul e cinza. I rewatched the film "The Grey" a couple of days ago. It was such a great film! The Grey is an exhilarating, heartwrenching thrill ride with a chilling atmosphere and a gripping story of survival. The film has such a raw grittiness to it and really knows how to build the suspense and then shock you with the utter brutality of not only the environment but the wolves themselves. The terrific script by Ian MacKenzie Jeffers and director Joe Carnahan really lets the haunting reality seep in and builds the tension as these oil workers find themselves stranded after a plane crash in the wilderness. It dissects how people react in distress and what can happen. It also puts quite a focus on philosophy, whether it's religion, life, or grief. It tackles the human experience in a unique, beautiful way. The film has an exceptional ensemble cast led by Liam Neeson's suicidal hunter and includes Dermot Mulroney, Frank Grillo, Dallas Roberts, Nonso Anozie, Joe Anderson, Ben Bray, and James Badge Dale. The cinematography by Masanobu Takayanagi is absolutely breathtaking accompanied by a cool, effective score by Marc Streitenfeld. Roger Barton and Jason Hellman did an awesome job with the editing. The art direction(Ross Dempster), set decoration(Peter Lando), production design(John Willett), and costume design(Courtney Daniel) is solid.
