Excellent. Synopsis : Une équipe de journalistes parcourt les États-Unis en proie à une guerre civile sans précédent. Ces derniers ne sont alors qu'armés de leur matériel. L'armée américaine, de son côté, est chargée de tirer à vue sur les reporters. Avis : Le cinéma d'Alex Garland c'est parfois particulier mais il faut lui reconnaître sa grande qualité. J'ai l'impression de dire ça tout le temps mais c'est réellement une expérience unique en salle. C'est une ambiance follement immersive visuelle et sonore, la personne assise derrière moi n'arrêtait pas de sursauter. C'est un road trip sous tension aux multiples rencontres pas toujours bonne. La réalisation est excellente avec un très bon développement de personnage, un rythme maintenu avec des phases de dialogue qui posent de bonnes bases pour qu'on s'attache au personnage en apprenant à les connaître et ainsi on comprend mieux certaines réactions. Niveau casting tout le monde est parfait je trouve ça dingue d'avoir un tel casting qui pour moi est une forme de multivers. On a Mary Jane, Pablo, un excellent second couteau, Priscilla Presley, Todd de breaking Bad, pour les trois personnes qui ont vu The Walking Dead world beyond à un moment on voit Hope personne n'aura cette ref mais surtout le président est joué par Ron Swanson. I went and saw the film "Civil War" this morning. I absolutely loved it! Civil War is a poignant thought-provoking thriller that is as relevant as ever. This film has some of the most choatic anxiety-inducing sequences I've seen in years. It's incredibly intense, visceral, and has some great sound design. The terrific script by director Alex Garland is powerful and really delves into the ambiguous and immoral nature of war. The horrors of it are completely displayed in shocking fashion and goes into the psychological impact of it. It also deals with some very real-life ripped from the headlines topics. It's a real eye opener that takes no sides besides the human side. The film is about a road trip across America with four military journalists on the way to D.C. The film is pensive and heartfelt with how it approaches these broken yet relateable characters who are trying to find that perfect shot. The film is filled with a ominous tension that you can't help but feel mirrors our society. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny in phenomenal and absolutely heart-wrenching performances. The film has some fantastic supporting performances from Jesse Plemons, Nick Offerman, Sonoya Mizuno, Jefferson White, and Nelson Lee. The cinematography by Rob Hardy is excellent. The film is expertly edited by Jake Roberts, accompanied by a cool, effective score by Geoff Barrow & Ben Salisbury. The art direction, set decoration, costume design, and production design is superb. Alex Garland did a brilliant job directing this exhilarating, haunting, and easily one of the most important films in years. Super excited for the second season of this new @falloutonprime series!!! The wasteland is brutal and unforgiving, that much is reflected in the plethora of various ways you can lose your life while innocently strolling around it. But what I didn’t expect is to laugh my butt off at the sheer amount of whimsical stupidity that happens in the desolate landscapes of post-apocalyptic America. Took me back to the hours and hours of endless exploration I put in when playing the games and encountering the wildest and weirdest shit ever. Manages to weave an entirely new story that patiently reveals the conspiracy that’s at the core of this narrative, whilst staying faithful to and respecting the source material. Loveable characters and thoughtful worldbuilding. Easter eggs and references galore. So much still to explore in future seasons.

Well, the first 20 minutes started off a bit slow and some parts were a bit predictable. Rather than that, I had an amazing time with this, it was a blast. Bill Skarsgard was pretty awesome. You know, he is such an amazing actor, he doesn't need any dialogue. Plus, I really enjoyed watching Jessica Rothe in this and it is great to see Famke Janssen. And love all the action sequences, they were outstanding. Especially when he uses his inner voice, love the humor throughout this movie. Overall, this is a fun, entertaining movie. Michael Fassbender está em uma atuação convincente, eu sou fã deste ator, aqui vemos que ele tem o tom pra comédia apesar de fazer um coach caricato e mal humorado. O filme ganha força quando nos envolvemos com os personagens daquele time e nas interações e mensagens liderados e líder, mas perde quando entra na parte dramática da vida do coach, aliás, que papel desperdiçado a de Elisabeth Moss. . Afinal, Thomas Rongen só foi ser treinador da seleção de Samoa Americana por castigo ou para esquecer de um trauma de sua vida? Acho que o filme tem uma mensagem bacana de entrega e de confiança, os membros do time só conseguiam seguir os ensinamentos do seu líder quando passaram a conhecê-los como ser humano, e não como um mandão! Scarface (1983) @peacock "Say hello to my little friend!" is basically all I knew about the iconic gangster film Scarface. I'm back to watching movies from my Dad's 100 films I should watch. According to my Dad, what's left on the list of a few classic war films, guy movies, and stupid funny movies. I think I should be able to complete the list this year. I noticed Scarface was on peacock to stream, which was helpful as I watched the long movie over two days. Surprisingly, I enjoyed Scarface way more than I expected to. In fact, out of all the gangster films my Dad recommended, Scarface was a pleasant surprise. It's not going to make my top 10 list, but Al Pancio's performance kept me invested. Michele Pfeiffer was a standout as well, and I enjoyed her snarky and dominant performance. I loved it when she went off on Tony (Pancio) at the restaurant. The ending was very cinematic, violent, entertaining, and appropriate. When watching, it was also fun to notice other actors like Mark Margolis (Breaking Bad) and Richard Belzer (Law & Order SVU) in small roles. That's one fun aspect when watching older films is to see actors in other roles from their earlier career. Overall, Scarface was an entertaining film that was an unexpected surprise. 📽 PAS DE VAGUES 7/10 De Teddy Lussi-Modeste Un prof de français gay fait un malencontreux compliment pour un illustrer une figure de style à une collégienne mal dans sa peau, flanquée d'un c*on*ar*d de frère. Persuadée qu'il la drague parce qu'il a aussi dit que l'eau était fraîche en la regardant en même temps qu'il regardait les autres élèves, elle enclenche un effet boule de neige qui risque de détruire des vies. Ce film m'a mis en colère. Devant l'effondrement de l'éducation nationale dont on entend parler partout (documentaires, films, amis profs, etc.), devant les idiots qui veulent juste sauver leur peau en se foutant des autres, devant devant le ******* de frère et tous ceux du même genre, devant l'incapacité à prendre en charge les ados mal dans leur peau, etc. François Civil joue parfaitement bien, ce qui n'est pas le cas de tous les seconds rôles qui ont l'air de s'entraîner. On n'échappe pas à certains clichés, tant dans les personnages que dans les scènes et les dialogues. Tout n'est pas parfait, notamment le fait que le réalisateur raconte son histoire sans que les autres protagonistes aient voix mais comme n'importe quelle œuvre alors bon... Il y a quelques éclairs de joie qui traversent ce drame et cette scène finale qui vient casser le rythme de façon inattendue.
