Sinister 2 (2015) 🌝🌚🌚🌚🌚 En ung mamma och hennes tvillingsöner flyttar in i ett lantligt hus som är markerat för döden, samtidigt som hon måste undvika sin våldsamma make. Med hjälp av en före detta biträdande sheriff från den första filmen kommer de att försöka tävla mot tiden för att stoppa den före-detta Slipknot bandmedlemmen Bughuuls onda krafter. Inom två minuter så har filmen redan hunnit klämma in tre jumpscares. Det säger kanske litegrann om vilken lättdistraherad publik som den här filmen försöker tilltala. Höjdpunkterna med ettan för mig är Ethan Hawke och de gamla filmrullarna han hittar på vinden. Ljud- och bilddesignen är pricken över i:et där men jag upplever inte att det har lagts ens en bråkdel av samma ansträngning på den här aspekten i uppföljaren. Istället för att se ut att vara filmad med en gammal Super 8 kamera så liknar det mer en mobilkamera app i uppföljaren med ett filter över bara. Jaja. Det här är klart och tydligt bara en snabb cash-in tre år efter succén av ettan.. Från regissören till Eli (2019), intressant nog? Eli känns åtminstone som att där fanns en drivande röst/vilja som låg bakom filmen medans Sinister 2 känns som gamla, uppvärmda matrester från förra månaden. Den slutar t.om exakt likadant som den första filmen med en liten peekaBOO sting. #sinister2

Sometimes that can be true and others they’re just the perfect fit. In James Ransones case it’s a little bit of both.He’s an actor who doesn’t work often but when he does he always gives a hundred percent. From the beginning of his career to now; James ransone has been someone who just perfectly falls into place with who his characters are. He’s also a fascinating figure and someone to look into but really at the end of the day his acting speaks for itself. 🎃 Mike consiglia : “SINISTER” e “SINISTER 2” (2013-2015). Per la notte di Halloween, vi consiglio di recuperare questi due film usciti quasi un decennio fa e che ancora oggi, a distanza di tutto questo tempo, ritengo, a parer mio, gli horror più belli che abbia mai visto in assoluto : sto parlando di “Sinister” e “Sinister 2”. Nonostante all’epoca non ebbero tanto successo, “Sinister” e il suo successore regalano terrore allo stato puro, grazie al perfetto miscuglio di vari sottogeneri di horror, come il found footage, la haunted house e il demoniaco/occulto. Il fatto di avere dei bambini come perno principale della trama, e soprattutto di avere immagini anche abbastanza forti e scioccanti con bambini al centro delle scene, trasforma il tutto ancora più inquietante e disturbante. Il demone Baghuul poi… mette i brividi solo a nominarlo. La trama è coinvolgente dal primo all’ultimo frame, con un leggero tocco di thriller/mystery, che va ad aggiungere la giusta fluidità allo svolgersi degli avvenimenti sempre più sconvolgenti; nel secondo film, invece, si avverte un po’ di ripetitività ma, nonostante ciò, si compongono comunque dei tasselli importanti che rispondono a molti quesiti posti in precedenza e, a livello qualitativo, rimane quasi pari al suo predecessore. Day 27 - Officially into Halloween Weekend 🎃👻 Two films tonight 🎥 #scream5 🔪 & #sinister2 Sinister 2 (released in 2015) isn’t as good as it’s original previous movie but still worth a watch with its numerous jump scares. Love the #Scream franchise & was so excited this was announced back in 2022. It brought back the franchise & it was a good film that was long awaited. Unlike the previous ‘comeback’ #Scream4 (2011), which was terrible sadly. Scream 5 was released 26 years after the first one. The newest scream 6 movie is also worth a watch! Sinister 2 (2015) Directed by Ciaran Foy I’ve got to say this after the Sinister movies; they don’t disappoint. Even as a sequel, it’s just as dark and disturbing as the first one. The scriptwriters have quite the twisted minds, which is very important for this type of movie. As far as the story goes, it’s different and plays out differently than the first one, so you’re lucky enough to watch something that will keep you on your toes. The acting is a good and it’s nice to see a returning character. This is not a horror movie for all, as it’s very macabre ways, may not sit well for all horror fans.
