Did you even go to the UK if you didn’t bring home 20+ books???? I’ve been ordering books from @illumicrate, @waterstones, and @fairyloot and shipping them to my husband in the UK and bringing them home when I visit. But this trip, we also went to Hay on Wye in Wales to visit all the bookshops! Traveling with my sister, who is also a bookworm meant going to all the bookstores! In London, we visited Word on the Water, Goldsboro, Foyles, Waterstones, and The House of Mina Lima. I even got a copy of The House of Marionne before it was released! I 100% would have missed my tube stop if my sister hadn’t pulled my head out of the book. How many books is too many books when you’re away from home? • Hi from Sweden! We’re away for the holidays on our honeymoon. We are in love with Sweden so far - it’s so Christmasy and cute! Hi loves 💕 It has been quite the week for me! I finished my last official day at my current event planning job in Portland after almost 6 years there! Do you pack books when you travel? We do! I always add a few books to each suitcase. I aim for paperbacks because they are so thin, light, and easy to slip in. I find that traveling with books helps keep my kiddos reading, gives them something to do during downtime and makes bedtime easier. Bonus… we love to buy books as souvenirs, so we often end up leaving the books we brought with us. Hotels and resorts often have a communal bookcase/library or we add them to a bookcase at the house we rented. It feels like spreading good will. So, will you be bringing books on your next adventure?
