Dags för en uppdatering i mitt uppdrag “väck strutsen!”. Först en liten recap. Jag har en favoritperson i min absoluta närhet som lever på som de flesta runt om oss, förmodligen lite mer när jag tänker efter. Trots att vi har haft otaliga samtal om klimatfrågan har jag inte lyckats hitta hennes pollett. För ett tag sedan började vi tala om varför jag inte lyckas påverka henne. Där och då fick jag i uppdrag att försöka hitta hennes tipping-point. Som första uppdrag fick hon att lyssna till @vetenskapsradion Klotets “Alpkrisen-när bergen rasar” - hon var på väg till alperna. Hennes reaktion var “så läskig lyssning och lite ofattbart att ta in. Insikten om hur snabbt förändringen går blev så tydlig. Känns särskilt påtagligt och hemskt nu när jag är på väg till alperna-med flyg. Nu är jag redo för lektion 2”. Som andra uppgift fick hon att väga sin livsstil gm @wwfsverige ’s klimatkalkylatorn. ✅ på den med orden “Nu har jag äntligen fyllt i klimatkalkylatorn och inte helt oväntat har jag en väldigt hög förbättringspotential! Det var en nyttig tankeställare att faktiskt se hur man lever med ett utifrånperspektiv. Det blir till att ändra en del vanor. Dags för nästa lektion!” Och där är vi nu. Lektionen nr 3 är att se “Before the flood” en dokumentär med Leonardo DiCaprio. Jag gillar den, tycker att den på ett enkelt sätt förklarar samband ur ett globalt perspektiv. Ultimamente sto riflettendo molto sul tema dell’alimentazione sia da un punto di vista etico che salutare. La maternità mi ha dato delle nuove sfide da affrontare: è arrivato il momento dello svezzamento e mentre io cerco di proporre a mio figlio un alimento appositamente preparato per lui, lui guarda verso la tavola e vorrebbe mangiare le stesse cose che mangiamo noi. Questo mi ha posto due problemi: uno, devo cucinare in maniera sana in maniera da poter condividere con lui quello che mangiamo anche noi; due, lui imparerà ciò che sa sull’alimentazione in famiglia e il suo rapporto con il cibo sarà influenzato inevitabilmente dalle nostre abitudini a tavola. Quindi si, è arrivato il momento di fare una riflessione in merito, vorrei condividerla con voi: 🌎Ogni volta che scegliamo di consumare cibo, stiamo prendendo una decisione che ha un impatto sul nostro pianeta. Optare per alimenti provenienti da fonti sostenibili e locali può ridurre l’impronta ecologica e contribuire a proteggere il nostro fragile ecosistema. 🐄 Gli allevamenti intensivi hanno un impatto significativo sul cambiamento climatico, consumando enormi quantità di risorse naturali e contribuendo alle emissioni di gas serra, e all’inquinamento di aria, suolo e acqua. Per non parlare ovviamente della crudeltà e del maltrattamento sugli animali, oltre ai rischi derivanti dall’utilizzo di antibiotici (antibioticoresistenza). Scegliere prodotti provenienti da allevamenti etici e sostenibili può aiutare a mitigare questo impatto negativo. 🥗Oltre alla provenienza, è importante anche il tipo di cibo che scegliamo. Optare per una dieta a base vegetale può ridurre l’impatto ambientale complessivo, poiché richiede meno risorse naturali rispetto alla produzione di carne. Con notevoli vantaggi dal punto di vista della salute, su cui lascio esprimere persone ben più competenti di me. Bob Dylan & The Band - Before the Flood (1974) A lot had changed since 1966 when Bob Dylan took Ronnie Hawkins backing band, The Hawks, with him on his well documented tour around the world. Dylan, had largely removed himself from the public eye and released a handful of mostly acoustic albums in the vein of what would probably now be deemed Americana. Other than a few one off live appearances, he had neglected to tour any release and had switched labels from Columbia to David Geffen’s new upstart, Asylum Records. The Hawks had also seen quite the career evolution. After returning from abroad as Dylan’s backing band, they retreated with him to Woodstock, NY, rented a house and started recording in the basement of a house deemed Big Pink. They then changed their name to The Band and released their first album, Music from the Big Pink, an album so influential, it caused Eric Clapton to break up Cream. By 1974, however, The Band had not released any original material in 3 years, and found themselves on the downward slope of superstardom. After reuniting with Dylan for the album Planet Waves, David Geffen, Robbie Robertson and Dylan started talks about teaming up to head out on the road. Being Dylan’s first tour since 1966, to say there was quite a bit of anticipation, would be an understatement. Promoter, Bill Graham, had to book the venues without proclaiming who the performers would be in order to avoid pandemonium. Tickets were sold via mail order only and Graham has gone on record as saying they could have sold 20 tickets for each one that was sold. Before the Flood, is the document of this tour, or rather mostly the last 3 nights at the Forum in Los Angeles. The show runs thru sets of Dylan material played with the Band, The Band by themselves and also Dylan playing solo acoustically. (Continued in comments)

Sempre que posso trago questões sobre cenários futuros e sobre futuros possíveis. Minha cabeça está no constante design que vai sendo executado onde projetamos: ambientes com propósito, lógica de comunidade, atividades, negócios, onde pensamento de e para futuros sejam a base. Esta prática pode, muitas vezes, ser ativada por informações apresentadas em documentários, por exemplo. Por isso, hoje trago aqui o documentário “Seremos História?” , dirigido por Fisher Stevens e produzido por Leonardo DiCaprio, junto a outras pessoas. Acho bacana falar sobre essa obra produzida por Leonardo DiCaprio, pois é um nome conhecido, e isso contribui para atingir um número maior número de pessoas para ver essa produção. O documentário mostra como somos passivos num quadrante da história onde a mudança climática tem impacto diário na nossa vida. São paraísos naturais, cenários perfeitos, que se degradam constantemente pela mão do homem devido à falta de planejamento. Portanto, sem uma preocupação responsável com o(s) futuro(s). Ainda farei um material sobre o que aconteceu em Porto Alegre em janeiro, cidade onde moro, que virou assunto no Brasil e até mundialmente. E isso é resultado da falta de pensamento projetual que oriente ações para futuros, visando minimizar os impactos climáticos no cotidiano da cidade. O que vivenciamos hoje é também resultado de decisões tomadas a anos atrás. Dove sparendo la foresta e l’aria verde, chi resta sospira nel sempre più vasto paese guasto: “Come potrebbe tornare a essere bella, scomparso l’uomo, la terra”. (Giorgio Caproni) Motori, fabbriche, impianti di riscaldamento, allevamenti intensivi. Le fonti di inquinamento atmosferico sono tantissime e non si fermano mai. È l’Agenzia europea dell’ambiente a lanciare un nuovo allarme. Considerando tutti i 27 Paesi dell’Unione europea si contano circa 327mila vittime solo nel 2021. La causa è l’esposizione a sostanze nocive presenti nell’aria che respiriamo a livelli ben superiori rispetto a quelli raccomandati dall’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità. L’impegno per ridurre l’inquinamento atmosferico c’è, ne è stato prova l’esito della COP28 a Dubai. Nel corso degli anni, poi, la qualità dell’aria è leggermente migliorata grazie a un maggiore impegno. Ma occorre fare di più. Ne va della salute dell’ambiente e anche della nostra. In questa foto scattata a mano libera con sony A7III a 28mm durante una giornata di trekking nella quale noto una composizione interessante con un albero come soggetto fuoco. Nella post produzione ho voluto enfatizzare la saturazione del cielo e del prato per poi giocare con un effetto di de-saturazione per trattare il tema dell’inquinamento ormai noto a tutti noi per quanto grave! Nessuno può prevedere con certezza che cosa accadrà, l’unica cosa che possiamo fare è controllare le nostre azioni future, cambiare stile di vita, moderare i consumi e partecipare alla vita pubblica. Riusciremo a cambiare rotta prima che sia troppo tardi? Partendo da questa riflessione, abbiamo deciso di dar vita a Punto di non ritorno, un’attività pensata per gli studenti delle Scuole secondarie di II grado di Lauria. Punto di non ritorno si propone di offrire la visione di un documentario, "Before the flood" di Fisher Stevens, con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare gli studenti su tematiche ambientali, economiche e sociali in linea con i principi internazionali di sostenibilità.
