Overall, it was a unique story compared to what I’m used to reading, but it is a good read if you like stories involving crime/serial killers, mystery, thrills, and twists. I found this in my drafts and it made me smile🥹, and laugh of course bc I didn’t post it. This was from our LA trip last JULY. Just a month-ish after being done with radiation we went to our same IVF doctor that transferred our Phoenix. We figured it made sense after everything we went through to go with what might work the best and felt like home to us. We loved being with old friends, the beach, the memories, all of it and we knew that we would know if we were pregnant before we left. Luckily we were able to celebrate before we left 💖 Looking back on those weeks we once again didn’t know what the outcome would be but we were present, laughed, played, and had fun. I found the account of a strong woman, a woman with a lion heart. Her descriptions are very similar to my own experiences when my father was in the #intensivecareunit for the last three months before his death. Everything happened so suddenly for him too and we got the news that he was in an #inducedcoma. The following weeks were a #rollercoasterofemotions. Every time we felt relief from small progress, the next blow followed. From the IMCU to the intensive care unit, from the intensive care unit to the IMCU and back again. A week before his death, he was so physically and mentally fit that he was able to give his #consent and sign the #lapel for his upcoming #surgery ( #amputation of the right lower leg). After the surgery things went downhill rapidly again. He was barely responsive after the surgery and was transferred back to the intensive care unit, where he was put back into an induced coma and had to be ventilated. Exactly a week after the surgery, the call came in the morning telling us to come to the #hospital and say goodbye to our father and my mother to her husband. He would have needed a #heartbypasssurgery, but his physical constitution was so bad that the doctors didn't dare to do the surgery. My father also suffered from fungal #sepsis, which weakened him so much that his body gave out. Since my father's death, I have repeatedly injured and abused my right lower leg, so much so that doctors have already warned me that I will eventually lose my leg. But I have a lot of hopes for the new #therapyrelationship, even if it doesn't get off to a good start because my new #therapist hasn't yet contacted me for an appointment as he had promised. In any case, the new therapist should have a special concept for #borderline patients. It's called TFP (transference focused psychotherapy). I am excited. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that everything works out.Well, I'll try to reach him tomorrow after I have my appointment at the #studio. All good things come in threes... right? Hi Dahlings, Introducing my latest artwork: “Birdsong” This painting was inspired by the incredible film “The Professor” (2019), starring the remarkable @johnnydepp. You can find it on @primevideouk. The movie follows the journey of a New England literary professor who receives a life-changing diagnosis and embarks on a path of acceptance. “In each and every moment, we’re composing stories of our lives, let’s aim to make it a meaningful read... or at least an interesting one.” This quote from the movie resonated deeply with me and served as the guiding inspiration for “Birdsong.” This artwork also pays homage to Johnny’s mentor and friend, the legendary Mr. Marlon Brando, who famously said, “life is a birdsong.” In “The Professor,” Johnny’s character, Richard, addresses his students for the final time and shares this beautiful sentiment. “The Professor” is a truly underappreciated performance by Depp, unfortunately overshadowed by his personal struggles during its release. But let me tell you, Dahlings, this film never fails to take me on a rollercoaster of emotions, making me laugh and cry all at once. I created “Birdsong” using the amazing @procreate app and the watercolor brushes by @freya.arts. These tools allowed me to bring the colors and emotions of the film to life on the canvas. I hope “Birdsong” captures the essence of “The Professor” and inspires you to reflect on the meaningful stories we compose in our own lives. I’ve been on a rollercoaster of emotions with my training lately lol. From losing several weeks of good training to a back injury, to feeling good last week, to regretting my back at the end of last week and getting sick over the weekend, and not being able to do much of anything on Monday, to this big win of a training session today! Circus DB: 155lb/70kg both arms 140lb/63.5kg x3 both arms 155 was the plan for the left, but I was supposed to hit 165 on the right today. I’m still really happy with this because I’m still somewhat sick and felt like I had no power nor did I have the ability to breathe properly. 140x3 is a PR for both arms and I did it for 2 sets! I couldn’t believe that I finished the third rep on the left arm in this video lol. Side note: I’m finally starting to look like I have deltoids, so that’s pretty frickin cool! Haha Axle Clean and Jerk: 240lb/109kg First heavy workout incorporating the clean back in here. I was still able to add my weekly 5lbs, so def a win! It’s pretty solid to be able to hit 89% of my best while it’s not a focus and after a bunch of hard sets on the DB, while being sick and somewhat injured still lol.
