My lord! At the weekend, I went to @chatsworth_farm and managed to avoid the spectacular selection of cheeses, pasties, cakes and other deliciousness! 🤦‍♀️ I mean it isn’t a gain… I can’t get my head into the game! 2.5 weeks until my holiday to Turkey and I wanted to loose a stone and I’ve lost 2.5lb… I can’t stop eating! Let me introduce myself… I thought I would do my first introduction of myself since I created my slimming world Instagram page for all my new and current followers. So here goes… My name’s Katherine. I am a Mummy to Oliver (5) and Isla (3). Myself and Matt have known each other for years previously through attending our local young farmers clubs. Then back in September 2015 we saw each other at Westmorland county show and got talking and that’s where our story began. We got together in January 2016, moved into our first home together in July 2016. We got engaged on 5th November 2016 and then married on 26th August 2017. Oliver was born on the 26th November 2018 and Isla completed our family on 30th October 2020 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. We live on the family farm in North Lancashire where we have a herd of pedigree jersey cows and young stock. I am also a farmer’s daughter so I have always been brought up around agriculture and its lifestyle. I started my slimming world journey on the 10th January 2023 after a routine doctors appointment back in December 2022 I knew something had to change not just for me but to make me a healtheir and happier wife and Mummy. My start weight was 18 Stone 6lb. I have currently lost 5 Stone 13.5lb since starting. My content includes my slimming world journey - awards, non scale victories, meal plans, food, comparison pictures and some family life. Oh hi again 🙃 It's been a while... nearly 3 years 🥴 I dropped off Insta as we were in the middle of completing on our house and planning a wedding and a lot has happened since then - we've bought and decorated our first home, we've got married, I ran a marathon and we've had a baby. I'm now 5 months postpartum and stepping on the scales this morning was the kick I needed to start getting back on track.
