Garlic butter naan and Paneer curry in the scene today. Cooking Indian food in a very long time and my kitchen is filled with aroma of spices and freshly cooked delicacies. Butter naan paired with any curry is a delight to savour now and then. Unlike other normal breads, cooking naan requires ingredients like yoghurt and baking powder while kneading to make it more fluffy, soft and buttery. The kneaded dough needs to rest for atleast 30 minutes before it is cooked. The outcome can be seen here the fluffy, soft bread is ready. Gisteren zijn we voor de 75e verjaardag van ons mam uit eten geweest bij Bastille in Best. Nog 2 nachtjes en dan wordt ze echt 75. De 1e x haar verjaardag vieren zonder ons pap. We hebben het gezellig gehad maar uiteraard was het niet compleet. Je mist toch onze druktemaker aan tafel. Alle 1e xtjes zonder hem komt nu..... Bastille in Best is echt een mooi restaurant, gerund door een jonge bevlogen chef. En 2x per maand houden ze een wijnmiddag, heerlijke wijnen proeven met echt goede hapjes. Kiwi fruit are one of those foods that you ate too many of as a child so you haven’t touched them since as an adult. 🍽️ Staying on Track While Eating Out As the weekend rolls in, I tend to see clients eating meals out more and if you know me I really enjoying to as well! It’s perfectly okay to eat meals out and I encourage it! With a little planning and mindfulness, you can enjoy eating out without totally falling off track. ✅ Plan ahead by checking out menus in advance if possible. Try to select dishes you can easily log if you’re tracking. Take my Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, for example – I can easily see each ingredient. 🚫 Avoid selecting generic pre-made entries when logging your meals. Break down ingredients and portion sizes whenever possible. Take my Poke Bowl for example again - instead of searching “Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl”, I searched for each ingredient and logged it individually. 🍺 And let’s not forget about those adult beverages - I very much enjoyed the beer pictured alongside my meal! Alcohol can be tricky to track since nutrition labels aren’t always available or completely accurate. I recommend using the @macrosfirst app to estimate the macros and calories in your drinks, you can do this by selecting “Create Alcoholic Beverage” and entering the requirements. If you know the calories in the beverage you can also manually breakdown the macros. Let me know in the comments what you get hung up on or have trouble with when tracking and I’ll answer! 😒 Here we are, another weekend has passed & so we play the same game as we did the week prior - It’s called — “Starting Over on a Monday, Again…” I know - you say “I tried”, but did you really? If you want fat loss success, then let’s retitle the game to “Winning the Weekends”. There are so many things that you can do to keep yourself on track on the weeknd. All it takes is a little bit of effort on your part. Here are some strategies to get you started - so you don’t have to start all over again next Monday: 👉🏼Stick to Your Routine: While it’s tempting to treat the weekend as a break from your routine, try to maintain consistency with meal times, workouts, & sleep schedule as much as possible. 👉🏼Choose Wisely When Eating Out: If you’re dining out, opt for healthier choices such as grilled proteins, salads w/dressing on the side, & steamed vegetables. St. Patrick’s Day is not a special occasion. Unless you’re Irish or live in South Boston, then it might be. You get to choose what constitutes a special occasion, but you should be able to count the number of special occasions each year on your fingers, so choose wisely. We’re very good at giving ourselves a pass for acting like a college student: “Oh Sally’s in town and I never see Sally and she wanted to go bar hopping, what do you want me to do?” Or “It was my best friend’s daughter’s first birthday party, I had to have cake. It would have been rude!” Let me be clear here: you can eat and drink whatever you’d like to. You’re a grown-ass adult in charge of your own choices. But you have to be willing to accept the consequences of those choices. And don’t complain that you’re not seeing results if you treat every time you get together with your friends like it’s Thanks-Christma-ween of July. It’s not. You can still enjoy yourself and not throw every semblance of boundaries out the window. Tomorrow night, my wife and I have a date night planned at a great restaurant. I’ll have a drink (or two) and we’ll, likely, split either an appetizer or dessert. That’s a social occasion - enjoying myself, but still being mindful and not throwing a semblance of self-control out the window. The rest of my day will be normal (or even a bit leaner than normal) and the rest of my weekend will be business as usual. When we say that we “normally eat pretty healthy,” but Friday-Sunday is a crapshoot every week, we’re lying to ourselves. Because Monday-Thursday isn’t any more normal than your weekend. The abnormal has become your normal. That’s why you stay stuck. So put your big boy/girl pants on, say no to yourself on occasion, and recognize that you can’t have everything you want all the time. You can have anything, but you can’t have everything. So make your choices and then be prepared to live with the results. Because that’s what grown-ups do.

Binge eating and blowing your weekends!!! . Quite often it’s just a lack of structure and not eating adequately that can cause the trigger! . Weekends can change your routine or your thinking “it’s the weekend I’m going to treat myself” . Three tips to stop or help with binge eating . 1️⃣Start your day with breakfast containing protein, carbohydrate, dietary fat or some fruit. Having a balanced meal first thing in the morning will help regulate your blood sugars and get your day off to a positive start. 2️⃣Don’t restrict calories during the day by not eating properly saving yourself for the evening. This will only lead to over snacking because your body has become too hungry and you lose control very quickly. 3️⃣Over restricting Monday to Friday because you keep screwing up at the weekends you are stuck on the cycle of trying to undo last weekends damage !! Eat adequately everyday by adequate I mean not@stupid calories like 1200-1300 you need more calories and that’s a fact!!! If your somebody that struggles with binge eating don’t be ashamed. I need a vegetable. That’s how I felt last night when I got home. I had an absolute blast this weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed all the food & drinks. But fiber was definitely harder to come by & regular movement was a challenge. I did sneak in a 30-minute workout with some other coaches, but that was it for intentional movement. I was as intentional as I could be with my protein, but the rest of the weekend, I gave myself space to focus on other things. Because one weekend wasn’t going to ruin diddly squat. The indication of success is not never falling off plan, but how quickly we get back on track. I spent the weekend with 125+ of the best coaches & trainers in the world and we all were doing the same things. Because we recognize that a fit life is about more than just working out & eating “clean.” It’s about freedom. Freedom to say yes to the things that we want to do. Want to eat a pound of Texas bbq brisket & ribs with Mac n’ cheese? Go for it. Want to go lift heavier weight than you have in a while because your buddy is training for a bodybuilding show? Get after it. Want to play Top Golf while drinking a strawberry margarita? Have at it. Do I do those things all the time? Of course not. They are the exception, not the rule. But the way to enjoy those things guilt-free is to get right back to it at the very next opportunity. Not tomorrow, not next week, now. Because the things I did this weekend aren’t what I do; they’re what I did. And now I’m back to doing what I do. One failure doesn’t define you anymore than one success does. We are what we repeatedly do. So just keep swimming.

Review @foodmarktdefam in Den Bosch: Positieve punten: hippe look, snel concept (pp online afrekenen en geen tikkies meer), keuze tussen 1,5 en 3 uur reserveren, kwaliteit wijntjes waren prima net als de aankleding van de gerechtjes.
