Hoisin no-duck noodles 🍜 I used to get duck at Chinese restaurants all the time so I really enjoyed making this fakeaway version using @lindamccartneyfoods' vegan 'duck'! Inspired by @foodie_lilly I fried the duck up with Chinese 5 spice before adding a sauce made of hoisin, soy sauce, garlic, lime juice and noodle water, then mixed it all up with the noodles and some tenderstem broccoli. HOISIN DUCK STIR FRY 💜 Totally experimented with this! •Seasoned the duck with Chinese five spice and rubbed this in with some olive oil and popped it in the air fryer skin down for 10 minutes. Then flipped it over and air fried for another 5 minutes before topping with a mixture of ginger, garlic, chilli paste, hoisin sauce and honey and heating this up for a further few minutes. I made extra of this sauce to drizzle over the top when serving. •Whilst the duck was in the air fryer I used a big wok to fry the beansprouts, egg noodles and tops of spring onions and added dark and light soy sauce, ginger, garlic, chilli paste and Chinese five spice to season. Hoisin duck loaded fries 🥵 My god this was insaneeee!! 😩 Air fried shredded duck breast on top of crispy skin on fries with cucumber and spring onion. All topped off with a good drizzle of hoisin sauce and mayo 👌 Macros 568 calories 42gP / 14gF / 66gC Serves: 2 Shopping list ✍️ - 2x room temp duck breasts (350g) - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tsp honey - 1 tsp Chinese Five Spice - 300g skin on fries, cooked - 1 inch cucumber, diced - 25g Hoisin Sauce - 4 tbsp light mayo (if you have spare calories use Kewpie mayo!! 🤤) - 1 diced spring onion Method Mix the soy sauce, Chinese five spice and honey together then add the duck breast pieces in fat side up. If you can leave it to marinade for 30 mins. Place in the air fryer with the fat facing up on 180C for 15-20 mins or until cooked through. Let it rest for 5 mins then remove the fat.
