Hearty Bell Pepper Soup with Ground Turkey and Rice Ingredients: 4 large bell peppers, diced 1 pound ground turkey 1 cup white rice, uncooked 1 large onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes 4 cups chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil Salt and pepper to taste Olive oil Directions: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sundays are all about batch cooking in my kitchen, I’ve got a chilli in the slow cooker and I’ve made 18 egg muffins which are only 76 calories each. Only 15 lefts as the hubby has already ate 3. First off, let me make clear im not sponsored by the company - my review is based on my experience following a low calorie high protein diet. I was looking for options for ready meals for the days when i couldnt make my meals,due to time or family comitments. I dont like meal prepping and often make meals on the day. I saw these from @iamhalal.co.uk and wanted to try them to prove to myself that i could enjoy foods like this and still follow my STRICT diet. Anyone that knows me will know how strict i am about the foods i eat and i often avoid these foods. Straight away i was blown away by the flavours and textures of the meats. Microwave cooking didnt effect it at all! And everything came out like it was fresh off the pan. Each pack has clear cooking instructions and a nice description of what you can expect from the flavours..enough to make your mouth water😋 I made sure to include the meal in my diet and maintained my training and honestly,it was so easy. I hit all my macros and was able to enjoy tasty food like this that i often would avoid in fear of excessive calories or low proteins etc..but @iamhalal.co.uk have given me the opportunity to enjoy meals like this again which will even be great for family meals so nobody has to miss out.
