Ari trabaja como la chica del tiempo, un puesto que siempre le ha gustado mucho. No obstante, Torrance, su jefa, tiene problemas con Seth, su exmarido (situación bastante insostenible que está afectando a Ari), por lo que ella solo desea que todo se solucione. Por suerte, Russell, que trabaja para Seth, se une a esta aventura, ya que a él también le está afectando. ¿Qué surgirá entre Ari y Russell? La trama, en cierto modo, me ha parecido original porque la verdad soy de leer mucho este tipo de libros. El hecho de que dos compañeros de trabajo se unan para intentar reconciliar a una expareja que, claramente, no está en su mejor momento, es un punto que me ha llamado la atención. A esto se le une que el ritmo del libro es ágil, aunque algunos eventos son algo más lentos que otros. Sin embargo, la historia se lee en un suspiro, ya que entretiene de principio a fin. La parte final me ha convencido, a pesar de ser predecible, sobre todo me quedo con los últimos eventos que ocurren antes del capítulo final. El libro está narrado en primera persona por la protagonista, la cual me ha gustado mucho, aunque he de decir que Russell también me ha convencido. Además, creo que los dos personajes hacen una buena pareja y combinan muy bien sus personalidades. La otra pareja secundaria tampoco me ha desagradado, sí que tienen más conflictos y hay más caos, pero ha sido interesante ver cómo manejan Ari y Russell esta situación. Por otro lado, no todo lo que hay entre estas páginas es romance, sino que también se tratan varios temas importantes en esta novela, como son la depresión y el sobrepeso. La chica del tiempo es un libro autoconclusivo de romance que me ha gustado mucho, sobre todo por sus personajes. Domani assisteremo ad un peggioramento del tempo in Sardegna, al Nord-Ovest e a fine giornata anche in Sicilia per l’avvicinarsi di una nuova perturbazione (la n.10 di Aprile). Nel resto d’Italia sarà una giornata ancora soleggiata e molto calda per il periodo. I like both tbh. I don't mind either as long as the plot is interesting! However, I've noticed that I seem to prefer shorter chapters when it comes to audiobooks. ✨ Chapter Names or Numbers? I like the ones with chapter names! Sometimes they're funny and humorous, and they also give me an idea about what might happen in that chapter! ✨ Multi or Single POV? Depends on the genre but I prefer dual povs in romance books and single povs in fantasy. I'm fine with multiple povs as long as they don't switch between too many characters constantly. ✨ Bookmark, Dust Jacket or Dog-ear? Bookmarks but I don't always use them!😂 Usually I'm able to pick up where I left off easily. Dog-earing is a no-no for me. ✨ What's the latest you've stayed up reading? 6 am😂 Yeah I didn't really sleep after that but I just couldn't put the book down. Men undervejs begynder Ari og Russell at se hinanden i et nyt lys, men Ari tøver, for på trods af sin solskinsagtige optimisme, skjuler hun at hun også rummer mørke skyer, og hun har dårlig erfaring med at vise folk hvem hun er. Mon Ari og Russells velmenende indblanding i deres chefers forhold ender med at bringe solskinsdage til dem? Præmissen i Vejrpige er fjollet 🤷♀️ to voksne mennesker der beslutter sig for at blande sig i deres chefers forhold? Eeeej, det er lidt urealistisk, selv for en romance bog 😂 Men romancen mellem Ari og Russell var til gengæld ufattelig cute! Russell var en Golden Retriever, og jeg synes virkelig at han var en god fyr hele bogen igennem! Han har også en datter, så “single dad tropen” fik luft under vingerne, og jeg er virkelig en sucker for lige præcis den trope! Der er nogle virkelig fine snakke om mentalt helbred i bogen. Ari er bipolar, og det fylder selvsagt meget, men jeg synes det blev håndterer ufatteligt fint og nænsomt, og det kan man kun være begejstret for. Romance bøger med lidt flere lag og lidt mere på spil er altid et kæmpe hit hos mig 🩷 Tredjeakts konflikten var (naturligvis) også at finde i Vejrpige, men lige netop i det her tilfælde synes jeg det fungerede. Så altså, præmissen i Vejrpige er lidt for fjollet til min smag, jeg er sikker på at forfatteren godt kunne have fundet andre måder at bringe Ari og Russell sammen på, men romancen var nuttet, så jeg kan godt se bort fra det fjollede. After a particularly bad fight at the Christmas party, Ari and one of reporters on the sports team, Russell, come up with a plan to push their bosses together thinking unresolved feelings are still there. Of course this means Ari and Russell will have to spend a lot of time together in order to “Parent Trap” their bosses. This was such a cute story and I adored that Russell isn’t the typical good looking hero. He is an everyday hero who is shy and overweight. Ari struggles with mental health issues but is strong and determined. Soloman gave Ari just enough backstory and ongoing adversity to provide satisfactory depth and a marked personal growth in our FMC’s story. If you’re looking for a sweet romance story about a career girl who gets her HEA, this is a good one to pick up. This story includes the following rep: Jewish faith, depression, and single parenting. While I could have used a touch more showing instead of telling, Weather Girl was enjoyable enough to find a permanent spot in my personal library. ❥ Listening to this via audio was a lovely experience. Narrator Sarah Mollo-Christensen has a pleasing and expressive voice to listen to. 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 This sweet little edition of Weather Girl comes from Afterlight by Illumicrate.
