🗡️The Malachite Quest by @aerinapeltun🗡️ Thank you so so much to @smashbearpublishing for an ARC of this book!! 😍 I kept the promise I made at the end of my review for book 1 The Amethyst Talisman and got my hands on a copy of this as soon as was humanly possible and it was so worth it! The Amethyst Talisman made me realise I can love fantasy books 😍 See my review for that one for more of me raving about the excellent world-building, the blood classes and things. We mostly just saw two of the Five Lands in Amethyst though and I loved exploring the different aspects and features of two more of those lands in this one. In this one we have our already established band of six, who we fell in love with in the last book, heading off to rescue Phire's brother Malachite. We meet some new and old acquaintances along the way in this one, some good to see and some not so much! I loved the links between everyone and they were all excellently written. Also meeting some new creatures like the Dire Wolves which I thought were cool! Plot-wise, I loved the journey they had to take to find information on the whereabouts of Malachite and also the missing Fire Opal, like a not-so-fun treasure hunt! The magic aspects, some I was expecting, some not so much, were well thought out and well-explained/not too complicated for my simple brain that can't cope with fantasy that has too many confusing elements 😂 As I said with the last one too, I loved the way the book ended in a similar way. The story ended nicely, about where you'd expect, no huge annoying cliffhangers that leave you feeling like you've stopped mid-book. But with the overarching story being clearly unfinished, making you need to read on and see how the rest of it plays out! You absolutely need to read this series, even if you're not usually into fantasy, I promise it's worth it! I'd definitely recommend reading The Amethyst Talisman first but if for some reason you really don't want to, there is a summary of the book at the beginning of this which is well-detailed. I actually really liked that because it gave me a good recap since it's been a while since I read it. I absolutely cannot wait for book 3 now!!! 😍

I've read quite a few Sariah Wilson books that I have absolutely loved. They are definitely all clean contemporary romances, which can sometimes bore me but typically she does it in a way that keeps me on the hook the whole time. Sadly, this one did not do that for me. Savannah Sinclair knows how to hold a grudge. She's been holding onto her anger towards her former best friend Mason for so long she doesn't know anything but disdain for him. He stood her up for a high school dance and spread a rumor about her and things were never the same. Now that he's back 6 years later in their Florida hometown, all that resentment is right there at the surface, but confusingly enough, her twin sister and best friend both tell her Mason only has eyes for her. When he asks her to hypnotize him for an article, she reluctantly agrees and everything changes. Savannah has to admit to herself that her feelings aren't as black and white as she thought. I got bored. Ugh. Savannah struck me as incredibly immature for a 24 year old woman. She kept hanging on to things, which I kind of get, but the jumping to conclusions and running away was just so childish. I found her slightly annoying. There were some incredibly romantic moments in this one though and I'd say Mason salvaged this one for me. ⭐⭐⭐ #QOTD What was the last flop for you?

good material ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✨ qotd: tell me an author who you don't think has ever written a bad book! ✨ wow wow wow, basically every time I read a dolly book I forget just how brilliant she is!! this one follows andy who has just been broken up with by his long time girlfriend jen. we see him dealing with the breakup, trying to both move on and come to terms with why the relationship ended, and also see him struggling with his comedy career. basically the guy is going through a hard time. andy was interesting narrator. I don't think I've ever read a book of this genre, written by a female author but from a male pov but dolly did it really well. andy was both likeable and frustrating. I got pulled into his world and his mindset but at the same time I could sort of see him from an outsiders perspective too. I really felt for him at times, imagining how devastated I'd be in his position, whilst also knowing there was probably more to the break up than he was aware of.  the final segment was from jen's point of view which honestly felt like some stroke of genius! it added a whole different level to the story and to the breakup, and really highlighted how people can see themselves so differently to how others do, and in turn imagine others so differently to how they truly are. both andy and jen were very complex, realistic, well written characters. both with their flaws, and both neither in the right or wrong, they were really great at showing that events are rarely black or white. and I could very clearly hear dolly's voice throughout, and the message that comes from her own life and experience - that women can exist and thrive outside of a relationship, and away from marriage and kids if that's what they want. it also had strong themes of self love and healing and was just a very beautiful book on this front. basically I couldn't recommend this more! dolly never fails to disappoint and I already can't wait for her to release another fiction book! 💛 . . . #bookpost #bookreviewer #bookreview #bookishthoughts #fivestarreads #fivestarread #goodmaterial #dollyalderton

HALFWAY POINT THOUGHTS Well I’m finally at the halfway mark in “We Keep the Dead Close”. My reading pace has definitely slowed with this but not due to a lack of enjoyment. To be honest, I’m not really sure why it’s been such slow going. It is quite a detailed book with quite a lot of back and forth between the present and the sixties. It’s definitely caught my attention and I’m looking forward to seeing how the second half will go. #BWhalfwaypointthoughts #CurrentlyReading #WeKeepTheDeadClose #BeckyCooper #bookwormery #bookstagram #ebookstagram #readingmakesmehappy #nonfictionreader

my long awaited book review on the fury by @alex.michaelides !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 can i just say, i absolutely LOVE the way this story is written and the way the author writes altogether. i loved his first two books so so much and i have been anticipating a new release, so when i saw this book in a shop i was very excited to dive into it!! he did not disaapoint with the cliffhangers. one of my favourite parts of his novels. so very talented. i found myself more interested in certain parts of the story than others but i overall loved this plot idea very much! i am glad i read this book, and you should too!! let me know if you’ve read any of his other books before, such as the silent patient or the maidens! 🏷️🏷️ #bookreview #alexmichaelides #mystery #mysterynovel #booksbooksbooks #bookreviewer #booktok #thrillerstory #plottwist #greatbook #recommendedreads #bookrecommendations #bookworm #booklover #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookcommunity #bookishlove #aestheticbookstagram #readingblog #readingtime #goodreads #foryoupage #follow #foryoupage💙 #goodauthors #readingmakesmehappy #readinggoals

✨️Mini Book Review✨️ Have you read anything by Toshikazu Kawaguchi? 4⭐️ Slowly but surely, this book series and its characters are creeping its way into my heart. This is so different from what I usually read, and every time I pick up the book it takes some times until I get into the story because the writing is so unusual for me, but I'm really enjoying this nonetheless 😊 I do get quite confused with all the (often very similar) names, but oh well.. I like how, with each story, you get another little snippet of the cafe's and the characters' story and I'm very curious about what I'Il learn in the next books. #talesfromthecafe #toshikazukawaguchi #beforethecoffeegetscold #bestseller #globalbestseller #bibliophile #bookreview #minireview #minibookreview #booklover #readingmakesmehappy #booksmakemehappy #bibliophilelife #bibliomania #buchverliebt #boekenliefde #boekenliefhebber #buchliebe #buchliebhaberin #booklove #bookstagram #bookseries

I couldn't help it. I had to have this when I saw it on a Chirp daily audiobook deal. I read the first Ice Planet Barbarians book and knew the general set up, so even though Ruby Dixon says you can read each without the first, I think the general setup helps. Only 12 unmated 22 year old females left and Liz is not interested in mating with one of these giant blue aliens. She is forced by Raahosh to take on the cootie, a bizarre word for some thing that all of these women must take to survive on their new home planet. Her cootie is constantly thrumming for the alien dude that she finds overbearing and lightly chauvinistic. She's not happen when her body screams out for her to be with her mate, the surly, giant Raahosh. This was comical like the first. It's got its spicy parts obviously, but it's just fun. So out there it's enjoyable. ⭐⭐⭐ #QOTD What's a book that you just think is out there and because of that it's fun or unique?

The Last Murder at The End of The World by Stuart Turton 🛶🌍🌅 First things first, this edition is basically art. The edges, the maps, the cover. All stunning 👌👏 Props to the design team. The Last Murder at The End of the World is a high-concept who dunnit set on an island surrounded by a man eating fog. After a scientist - one of the island's so-called elders - is found dead, triggering the lowering of the island's defences, the inhabitants have just 107 hours to solve her murder before the fog arrives and wipes humanity out for good. As much as I loved the dystopian science-fiction spin on the classic murder mystery format, I think it may have been a touch too ambitious and sprawling. It took me a while to understand the world the novel was set in and how the island came to be, and I still had so many questions. Also - and potential spoiler warning - this book really takes the idea of an omnipresent, omniscient narrator and not only runs with it, but sprints and then vaults with it. Having a narrator who knows what has happened and what is likely to happen and who can interact with the other characters lowered the stakes for me. Everything seemed predetermined and more like a game - a bit like a large scale escape room - so, despite the ticking clock, it lacked a sense of urgency. I don't think it helped that a lot of the characters felt quite samey. They were also all so nice, and as much as I would welcome a world full of peace-loving, self-sacrificing, selfless individuals, it doesn't make the most interesting backdrop for a novel. The characters who most interested me, and who had the most depth, weren't that prominent, and their backstories were only hinted at rather than explored. This might be more a reflection on me and my personal tastes rather than the writing. This sounds more negative than I meant it to. Overall, I enjoyed the book. It was fun and entertaining as well as being easy to read. The premise was unusual, and I admire the author's imagination and creativity as regards the world building and setting. Additionally, the story unfolds at a good pace. However, I just think it was lacking a little in terms of characterisation.

👁️ Eye for An Eye 👁️ - 3.5/5 ⭐️s! Wow 🤯…this was a VERY dark read. Some of the UK’s most notorious criminals are released and are given new identities to try and rehabilitate themselves into society through a government sponsored probation organization. These criminals have committed some of the most heinous crimes. They’re given new names, jobs, homes, and backgrounds. But, someone within the organization starts to leak their new identities to the many victims’ families. These families are offered a chance to get even…a chance to take an eye for an eye and seek revenge. This book presents a moral dilemma, which gives the reader a lot to think about and debate. I definitely don’t recommend this book for everyone, but it was a very interesting read! Happy Little Free Library Drop day of Granite Harbor by @peternicholsauthor A huge thank you to @celadonbooks for including me in another amazing awesome LFL drop!!! This is one of my favorite things - dropping off early copies of some of my most anticipated new releases in our local community. Use this link to find a copy near you in a little free library!! bit.ly/locustlanelfl Pub Date: 04.30.24 Book Details: A small town in coastal Maine is shaken to its core by a serial killer in this crime novel from Peter Nichols, bestselling author of The Rocks In scenic Granite Harbor, life has continued on—quiet and serene—for decades. That is until a local teenager is found brutally murdered in the Settlement, the town’s historic archaeological site. Alex Brangwen, adjusting to life as a single father with a failed career as a novelist, is the town’s sole detective. This is his first murder case and, as both a parent and detective, Alex knows the people of Granite Harbor are looking to him to catch the killer and temper the fear that has descended over the town. Isabel, a single mother attempting to support her family while healing from her own demons, finds herself in the middle of the case when she begins working at the Settlement. Her son, Ethan, and Alex’s daughter, Sophie, were best friends with the victim. When a second teenager is found murdered, the body left in the same manner as the first victim, both parents are terrified that their child may be next. As Alex and Isabel race to find the killer in their midst, the town’s secrets—past and present—begin bubbling to the surface, threatening to unravel the tight-knit community. At once a binge-worthy thriller and a captivating portrait of the social fabric of a small town, Granite Harbor evokes the atmosphere of HBO’s Mare of Easttown with a villain reminiscent of Thomas Harris’s Silence of the Lambs. • • • QOTD: what book is next on your TBR list?

Thank you, @stmartinspress , for my review copy! — BOOK REVIEW — The Guest by B.A. Paris 2.5 stars ⭐️⭐️💫 Started off much stronger than it ended. A couple returns home from vacation to find their friend has left her husband and moved into their house. I was intrigued at the start of this book. I am drawn to books that revolve around intricate friendships and family relationships. The storyline is questionable from the beginning, leaving the reader wondering what they are missing. The mystery pulls the story forward as you try to figure out the missing pieces of the family and friendship dynamics. I enjoyed how the story unfolded but I was frustrated a few times when new pieces of the story were revealed that contradicted what happened prior (wait, that’s not the way it actually happened, etc.). The narrative misleads the reader several times and instead of finding these reveals twisty, I found them annoying. I feel this novel wasn’t the authors usual strong and engrossing writing. After the first 25%, I found myself rolling my eyes at the decisions, dialogue and inner thoughts of the characters quite often. The unrealistic plot points were disappointing for me. The Epilogue was what made me round down my 2.5 star rating to 2 instead of up to 3. 😬 Overall, this was not my favourite by this author. I’ve read all of her books and most have been great but a few have not worked out well for me including this one. I remain a fan and look forward to what she comes out with next! I grabbed this from KU after a friend recommended it to me. She told me enemies to lovers and what can I say? I was sold. Ink Well Publishing has been waiting entirely too long for the third and final book in sci fi author Nate's series. It's been years and he's losing projects as a result. Fans are clamoring for the next book. The only problem? He hasn't written a word. After sending numerous editors overseas to a small town in England to get him to work on it, they decide as a last resort to send new editor Summer. She's thrilled for this opportunity as a super fan of the series. What she doesn't expect is the surly, handsome author to let her stay at his place when she's got no place to go. The two duke it out over everything until she finally gets him to work. Sparks are flying on the page, but also off. She should keep this relationship professional but Nate is hard to resist. This was a quick read and well done! I enjoyed it and will likely look for more from the author. Read if you like: ✅ Enemies to lovers ✅ Forced proximity ✅ Grumpy sunshine ✅ Books about books ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #QOTD Last, now and next?

✨ Book Review ✨ The Graham Effect 🏒 by Elle Kennedy “𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐈 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐩. 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬.“ Oh I do love a hockey romance ❤️‍🔥 I really enjoyed The Deal so when I saw that this is centred around Hannah and Garretts daughter, Gigi I had to give it a read! It was the perfect mix of fun, flirty and full of 🌶️!! Ryder was top tier book boyfriend material 🤌🏼 his and Gigi’s chemistry was SIZZLING! Their personalities and back stories just knitted together so well and it was good to see how they developed a young relationship whilst navigating their way through their own professional and personal ups and downs. For me, the initial third of this book was really slow paced and not a great deal happened but once it got going , it definitely got going and I couldn’t put it down! Now I’m ready for book #2 in the campus diaries; The Dixon Rule, I’ve very kindly been sent an arc and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in! Read if you like- 🏒 Dual POV 🏒 Hockey romance 🏒 Secret friends with benefits 🏒 Slow burn 🏒 Hockey romance 🏒 Grumpy x Sunshine 🏒 Strong friendships 💭 Are you a sports romance fan? ☆☆☆ (3/5 stars) The Torrent by Dinuka McKenzie Detective Kate Miles is 36 weeks pregnant and about to pop. She has one week until maternity leave to solve a McDonalds hold up that left a young teen injured and to look into the closed case of a man found dead in flood waters. This was a tricky one to rate because I liked the premise, the Australian setting and I connected with Dinuka's style and flow of writing but my issue was with the storyline, it felt like nothing happened for the first 80% of the book. All the mellow seemingly unrelevant storylines found their place in an ending full of twists and turns but I don't know if that made up for how long it took to get there 🤔 I guess for this one it just depends how you like your story set out? I'm keen to read the next book in the Kate Miles series and see if I like it better ☺️ Let me know your thoughts on this one!

Wow 🤯 I just finished reading Godkiller by Hannah Kaner and let me just say….it gets all the stars ⭐️ what an adventure!! A unique world, super cool characters and I just couldn’t put it down! Gods and humans and war and love and family. Hardly any spice but I totally didn’t miss it (which is not common for me 🤭) and I’m jumping straight into book two. It ends on a slight cliffhanger but WORTH IT!! 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 #bookstagram #bookreview #godkiller #adventure #fantasybooks #5star #readingmakesmehappy @hanfrankan thank you for this!!!

Happy #Bookmail Tuesday on a Wednesday! Look how pretty #ItTakesARake by Anna Bennett is🤩 I received a #freecopy for an honest review from the publisher. Thanks so much to @stmartinspress @smpromance !! I love some historical romance 😻 #smpinfluencers #bookmailisthebestmail Here's the Synopsis: She’s about to face her biggest challenge yet… Since she was a girl, Miss Kitty Beckett has been adept at finding trouble: sneaking brandy, running away, and getting under the skin of the boy who, like her, was an apprentice to an architect. Now Kitty’s a talented heiress who can take a dry building plan and breathe life into it with her pencils and paints. Also? She can spot a rake at a hundred yards—and she won’t be tricked or charmed into marriage. Certainly not by a man who might interfere with her dreams. When Bellehaven Bay announces its first ever architectural design contest, she vows to win—with a little help from her childhood rival. Turning her buttoned-up nemesis into a certified rake. Leo Lockland, a hardworking architect with a gift for numbers, has returned home after a few years in London, and he has secrets. The biggest? He’s been in love with Kitty since they were both apprentices. She refuses to give her heart to any man, but Leo’s determined to beat the odds—even if it means learning how to be a rake. Fortunately, Kitty’s willing to tutor him in the nuances of fashion, flirtation, and seduction in exchange for his help with the contest. But the whole plan would fall apart if she knew how he felt, so he’ll have to be very convincing. Let the lessons begin… Leo proves to be a surprisingly quick study in the ballroom, on the beach, and in the bedchamber. Before long, he’s softening Kitty’s hard edges with his wicked words and kissing his way past all her defenses. Perhaps she’s a bit too skilled at teaching, because her lessons are threatening to backfire, putting her closely guarded heart in grave danger… 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

👩🏻‍⚖️Love Thicker Than Blood by @author.cassandradiviak👩🏻‍⚖️ Thank you so much to @buddyreadbooknook for the chance to read and review the second in this duology! 😍 I loved book 1 in this duology following Dean and January where we got to meet Dean's brother Cole a little before his starring role in this book. In my review for Love on the Docket I commented on how much I loved the law aspect with them both being lawyers because it's an interesting subject I don't know much about. I loved that although we still got some of the law in this one, with Cole being a lawyer too and Nina having a court case, it kind of took a backseat and had less of the finer details in it. The family aspect of this was so important, contrasting Nina's utterly vile Byndel family with the loving and welcoming Yearwood family. The perfect exploration of how sometimes biological family is not everything. I thought the coincidences that kept throwing Cole and Nina together were really funny (but I'm a nervous person and did have to wonder if after a couple of times you wouldn't worry that what if they weren't coincidences and the other is kinda stalking you? 😂). Nina's niece Brooke, that she's now the guardian for, was such a cute kid. With a lot of changes to navigate for a 5-year-old she did a really good job and I think Brooke, Cole and Nina made the perfect little family unit. Definitely a slow burn, strangers-to-friends-to-lovers I thought it was great that they stayed genuine friends for so long at a time when they both needed a friend with no ulterior motives. An excellent story, I really loved this duology and would highly recommend it 😍

I grabbed this blindly without reading the synopsis or any reviews because it's Colleen Hoover. Obviously. I've enjoyed so many of her books that picking this up was a no brainer. Merit Voss can't stand her family. They're the outcasts of her small town. They all have secrets. Sadly, Merit seems to be the one who knows all of them and is just expected to keep them. As if doing so doesn't destroy her from the inside out. When she meets the perfect guy and has the perfect kiss, she can't believe her luck... until he realizes she's not her identical twin sister Honor. She's humiliated and now has to face the fact that her twin, who seems to loathe her, is dating him. Oh, and for some reason, now he's living with them. What does Merit have going for her? She can't stand any of it. These people. This life. Her school. I didn't love this one. Not the way I have other CoHo books. I found myself pretty indifferent and sometimes just depressed reading it, which seems like a given since the MC is depressed. I don't know a ton on depression, but I will say I thought it was well done. ⭐⭐⭐ #QOTD Do you have any tattoos? What are they? If not, do you want any?

📚 Book Review 📚 The Bakery on the Cove Eliza Ester ⭐⭐⭐ Summary: Can two wounded souls find love on the gorgeous shores of Maine? Eager to rebuild her life after a messy divorce and yearning for the quiet life of her childhood hometown, Jeannie Miller sets her heart on opening a bakery against the beautiful backdrop of Chickadee Cove. But with hardly any money to get her business off the ground, she’s forced to seek help from the local sawmill employee. Jeannie is convinced that after her chaotic past, she has no time for a second shot at love. But she can’t avoid feeling drawn to her charming new friend – and she begins to wonder whether the town gossip about their budding relationship has some truth to it, after all. Will a spark simmer between these two middle-aged wounded lovebirds? Or will the trauma of their past – and surprise visitor – prove too much for their fledgeling attraction to beat? With a heartwarming story and a small town setting on the beautiful beaches and hills of Maine, The Bakery on the Cove is a feel-good read that’s perfect for fans of later in life love and sweet contemporary romance. *This wholesome inspirational romance novel contains a cliffhanger My Review: It's a cute book. I'm kinda annoyed that the book showed nothing that had to do with any type of cooking and or baking. I was looking more for that kind of thing. I believe there's three or four more books but I won't be looking at them. #thebakerybythecove #elizaester #romance #romancebookstagram #nofoodorbaking #disappointment #readlikeyourlifedependsonit #readersofinstagram #bibliofriends #bookseries #booksofinstagram #bookrecommendations #booksbooksbooks #booknerd #booksarelife #bookpeople #novel #readthisbook #readingmakesmehappy #readallofthebooks #readeveryday

Call me old fashioned, but I’ve always appreciated “family” jewelry. I love all the shiny things and it’s a sweet way to show the things you care about the most. Traditionally, children or spouses would gift these to the mamas, however mine are too young and I’m impatient. They also don’t all know/would understand about our loss, so I decided to get it for myself. After years of searching for something I could wear everyday that wasn’t insanely expensive(our birthdays happen to be in all the costly stone months)I settled on a charm bracelet. A birthstone charm for all 7 of us, a book/coffee charm to show my favorite things to do, an autism heart portraitfor my spicy boy, and angel wings/portrait heart for my sweet baby Vinnie. Those who know me know that two of these birthstones also represent the two babies we lost. Eventually I do want an actual mother’s ring but for now, this makes me happy. #angelbaby #iam1in4 #pregnancyloss #autismacceptance #autismmom #family #readingmakesmehappy #pandorabracelet #charmbracelets

I like to celebrate books and reading every day but can’t miss the opportunity to celebrate #worldbookday ! . Books have always been an important part of my life and I have always been a voracious reader but when life slowed down in 2020 I found myself reading even more as I turned to books to fill the hours spent at home. It makes sense because one of the things I love best about books is how they transport me to another place or time. As Jhumpa Lahiri said: “That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet.” I have written about books on my travel blog since I started it in 2011 because the two are closely connected in my mind and it seems to me that most people I know who love travel also love to read. In the past 4 years, I have increased the book content a fair bit and I hope that people enjoy the mix of travel and reading because I don’t have the mental bandwidth to manage multiple blogs or social media accounts! 😂 . What are you reading on World Book Day? I’m currently reading The Twilight Garden by Sara Nisha Adams (author of The Reading List). . 📸 The Drama Book Shop in Manhattan

Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ happy publishing day! Sally Hepworth is another go to author that hardly disappoints me. This story is about three girls, Jessica, Norah, and Alicia, who are sent to a foster home. Miss Fairchild was their foster mother and they lived on an idyllic farm. Jessica was the first of the girls to arrive and was eager to make Miss Fairchild happy and they quickly formed a bond until the next girl came. Miss Fairchild quickly manipulated the girls against each other and employed evil tactics to make sure she kept them in line. The girls still formed a close and unique bond over the years and tried to put the past behind them. Until one day they get call informing them that the remains of a body have been found at the foster home they grew up in. They’re asked to go back and answer questions and they have to relive and uncover all the years of abuse they endured while at that house. Each sister is dealing with their own personal issues as they try and figure out who this body is. Could it have been one of them? That’s what I quickly wanted to learn. Told in alternate POVs and timelines, the story quickly unfolds. I found it gripping, fast paced, easy to follow, and full of mystery. I loved the bond the three sisters formed out of a traumatic childhood. I loved the psychological thrills in this story that kept the compelling storyline feeling even more heartfelt for the girls. If you love this author’s other books, I think you’ll enjoy this one too. Thank you @netgalley and @stmartinspress for the opportunity to read this book in advance in exchange for my own opinions.
