I'm growing some vegetables for the first time ever, and I'm very hopeful for everything to grow well. I'm also hoping to keep expanding on our vegetable garden so we can grow as much of our own fruits and vegetables as possible. Especially things that we cook with almost every day. It's not the prettiest looking garden yet. Still have a lot of work to do, but it's getting there. Right now, we're growing some lettuces, spinach, and 5 different kinds of tomatoes ( can't wait for them to finally produce fruit! ), zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, cubanelle peppers, cucumbers, basil, chives, rosemary, cilantro, flat leaf parsley, thyme, purple basil. Would like to eventually grow onions, garlic, strawberries, lemons, limes, papaya, pumpkin, parsnips, corn, figs, pineapple, peas, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, mint, and sage. ズッキーニ、パプリカとサフランのパスタ Saffron tagliatelle (English follows) 春から夏にかけて食べたくなるさっぱりとしたパスタです。 是非、お楽しみください。🍽️ (写真はタリアテッレという太めのパスタを使用しております。) 【材料】3-4人前 パスタ - 350g ヨーグルト-125g ズッキーニ - 3本 パプリカ- 2個 ニンニク- 1片 種なしオリーブ - 8個 オリーブオイル - 小さじ3杯 サフラン - 0.6g 粉パルメザンチーズ - 大さじ3杯 パセリ- お好みで パプリカパウダー - 適量 ブラックペッパー - 適量 塩 - 適量 水- 適量 【作り方】 ①パプリカは縦に薄切りに、ズッキーニは表面の皮を剥いた後千切りに、オリーブ、パセリとガーリックは細かく刻んでおきます。 ②フライパンにオリーブオイルを注いで温め、ニンニク、パプリカ、ズッキーニ、オリーブの順に加え、塩とブラックペッパーを加えた後、8分程炒めます ③上記のフライパンにパプリカパウダー、ヨーグルト、パセリを加えて混ぜます。 ④その間に鍋に水、塩、サフランを入れパスタを茹でます。途中混ぜます。 ⑤茹で上がったパスタをフライパンに入れ、混ぜ合わせたら完成です! Turkey Stuffed Peppers Healthy Turkey Stuffed Peppers Ingredients: 4 large bell peppers, any color 1 pound lean ground turkey 1 onion, diced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup cooked quinoa 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Directions: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish large enough to hold the peppers upright. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Place them upright in the prepared baking dish. This Baharat Shakshuka Recipe is a go to for lunch or dinner Serves 4 Time: 30 minutes Ingredients: 1 Onion or 2 Shallots, finely sliced 3 Garlic Cloves, crushed 1st Freshly Spiced Baharat Spice Blend 4 Medium sized mushrooms, finely diced 1 Red Pepper, Sliced 400ml Chopped Tomatoes Handful of fresh Parsley and Coriander, finely chopped 4 Eggs 400ml Water Salt to season 1tbsp Tomato Puree 200g Feta Cheese Optional: Fresh Bread to serve Instructions Place a large pan on a medium heat and soften the shallots/onions for 5 minutes before adding the garlic and peppers. Next, add the mushrooms and Freshly Spiced Baharat spice. Continue to stir and cook for a further 3 minutes. Add the tomato puree with a dash of water, and stir well to coat all the ingredients, then add the chopped tomatoes. Use a wooden spoon to compress any big bits of tomatoes. Season with salt and half of the herbs. Add 400ml of water and allow to cook for around 5 minutes for the sauce to thicken. Using the wooden spoon, make indents in the tomato mixture and crack your eggs into 4 separate areas. Place a lid on top of the pan and allow to cook for 3-5 minutes. Check the eggs are cooked and then scatter the remaining herbs on top. Serve and scatter over the crumbled feta equally between each serving. This goes great with fresh Sourdough.
