Kale, Sausage, and Pepper Pasta. I loved that this meal was made in one pot, so I didn't have to spend all afternoon washing dishes. I used chicken broth to cook the pasta instead of water for added flavor. There was no s&p in this recipe, which I thought was odd. I added a pinch of each. Angie’s Nutrition Tip……I bet you’ll love these Brussels sprouts! 1 bag shaved Brussels sprouts + 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced + 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce + 1 tbsp honey + 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar + 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + 1 small pat butter + freshly ground pepper to taste. Melt butter in olive oil. Sauté red bell pepper for 2 minutes. Add Brussels sprouts & freshly ground pepper. Sauté all together. Make your sauce. First bell pepper is gaining color as it ripens. The rest of them are still green and growing though. I am planning to sow peas, tomatoes and kale once i get my new storage rack. And i will be getting rid of my cantaloupe plants. I have given uo the search for male and female buds flowering at the same time for pollination. Lastly, the tobacco plants are still on a growth rampage. They are up to about 1m in height now. Nothing like pizza for dinner. This Garlic Naan is new far as I can tell. Maybe not, I may have just not seen them before at the store/online grocery order. I got some, they were on sale, and they made yummy pizzas for sinner, easy and quick. Spread some sauce down, some meat; kid had pepperoni, I did a mixture of pizza sauce and bbq sauce for mine and had ham, chicken, thinly sliced bell pepper and onion, hubby’s was all 3 meats and the peppers and onions. I’d ate part of one the othe rday, and there was part of one left. A package of 5 was the perfect pizza dinner. 2 for hubs, 1 for the kid (which surprised me) and 1 and a bit for me. Baked Sweet Potato and Sautéed Veggies Ingredients: 1 sweet potato 1 red bell pepper 1 green bell pepper 1 small yellow onion 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil Few Cilantro Leaves 3 tbsp yogurt Salt and Black Pepper to taste Method: Baked sweet potato -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. -Wash the sweet potato with warm water then dry with a paper towel. -Place it on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. -Using a fork, make some holes in the sweet potato and drizzle some olive oil over it. -Place it in the oven for 60 mins. Veggies -Slice red and green bell pepper, and one small onion. -Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a pan and sauté the veggies till tender. -Add some salt and black pepper to taste. Topping for sweet potato: -Finely chop a handful of cilantro leaves. -Add 3 tbsp of yogurt and chopped cilantro leaves to a blender and blend till combined. -If the mixture becomes too watery then add 1-2 tbsp of yogurt and mix to thicken the mixture. -Add salt and black pepper to taste. #bakedsweetpotato #sautéedveggies #redbellpepper #greenbellpepper #nutritiousanddelicious
