Albugnano Carpinella 2017, Pianfiorito La famiglia Binello ha sempre sostenuto questa denominazione, ha divulgato con tenacia e passione il verbo anche in periodi bui, tempi in cui la stessa era da considerarsi poco più che una curiosità da studiacchiare durante qualche corso sul vino. Ho visitato personalmente la Cantina e sugli scaffali, ancor oggi, è possibile trovare bottiglie ad esempio dell’annata 2001. Degustato ai giorni nostri il Carpinella 2017 mostra un profilo olfattivo compiuto dove il frutto è ben maturo, lontano da toni esausti nonostante l’annata torrida: amarena, susina rossa, arancia rossa sanguinella e spezie dolci/aromi che ricordano la marinatura di alcune carni rosse. Trascorsi 15-20 minuti dalla mescita il quadro si ingentilisce palesando pennellate floreali di violetta appassita, grafite e caucciù. Sorso centrato, sapidità dirompente supportata da una buona spalla acida in totale assenza di alcol percepito; chiude lungo, ammandorlato e privo di qualsivoglia forzatura. Un gran bel vino giunto forse a metà del suo lungo cammino. Ne parlo su Lavinium. Very rosey, with fleshy cherries and further aromas of pomegranate, mild spice and fruit tea. Wonderful to drink this shining wine today. The 2020 is dedicated to the ONLUS 'SportABILI' in Alba, which is supporting disabled sports in the area. Langhe Nebbiolo 2015 This is (and has been lately) truly one of the most delightful Rinaldi drinkings at the moment, IMO. It stands in a phase of entering a more mature level, but the waving soft, lifting fresh side keeps this totally vivid and blooming. There is a lot going on in the glass.. the silky texture, the strawberry-like inner sweet touch, gripping florals, a round, classic Nebbiolo bouquet and plenty of jolly force. Dried strawberries, mint, blue flower, chestnut, sandalwood, sweet tobacco and melted tar come together hamonically. Curious, how long my remaining bottles will survive. No rush here though.
