I let my MIND absorb its own goodness I let my mind do what it’s MEANT to do.. without the external noise Infact I’ve just written 4 posts while on my afternoon beach walk with just me + my brain 🧠 I promise you, YOU WILL SURVIVE! & the more you do it, the more you will love being with yourself. ‘Your Lifestyle’ and ‘A routine’. You have long term goals you want to achieve, an idea of a routine to get there but you can’t stick to it? A routine is a great framework to give guidance and support consistency. In one way or another, we all have our routines. They reduce effort and energy needed to take decisions and increase familiarity and drive progress. Your life however doesn’t always follow routines. It can easily become frustrating when you continuously are unable to stick to your intended routine. Motivation will plummet, a sense of failure might emerge and everything is over board. The routine you create should be aligned towards your goals, but realistic to be kept. Let’s say you want to exercise 5/ week after work but you feel exhausted and work tends to finish late every now and then. Your lifestyle doesn’t support such a routine. Instead of getting frustrated when you’re unable to follow the plan you had for yourself, get clear on why you wanted to put that plan in place. Realistically look at your lifestyle and then put a new plan in place. After all, a routine should become a lifestyle in the long term. And it’s Your lifestyle, based on your life for which you want to create a routine that is sustainable and lets you accomplish your goals.

Notice your inner biology changing when being triggered or angry. You can feel the heat, your blood boiling, or your body tensing. When you feel this, take a step back and breathe. Wait to calm down. Let that inner storm pass and then deal with the situation at hand. - Practice empathy. Step into the shoes of the other, no matter how hard it may feel to do. Put your feelings aside and try to understand them. This offers perspective. - Step away from the stimulus, take a break. Esta semana pus-me a pensar nos 7 tipos de desperdícios, uma ferramenta que surgiu no Sistema de Produção da Toyota. Este sistema foi desenvolvido após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, com o principal objetivo de maximizar a eficiência e minimizar o desperdício na produção automóvel. O objetivo era tornar o processo lean (magro em português). Mas como é que podemos transpor isto para a nossa vida e perceber o que podemos fazer para fazer da nossa vida mais leve e menos stressante? 1. Superprodução: Evita assumir mais do que podes gerir. Aprende a dizer “não” aos outros e a ti mesmo. Dizer que não aos outros, muitas vezes é dizer que sim a ti! 2. Tempo de Espera: Reduz ou elimina a procrastinação. Como Bishop Rosie O’Neal disse “A procrastinação é a suposição arrogante de que Deus te dará o amanhã para fazeres o que deverias ter feito hoje.” 3. Transporte: Otimizar as rotas dos compromissos para poupar tempo e energia no deslocamento e otimizaR as tuas tarefas para não teres que te “transportar” de um estado mental de uma tarefa para outro constantemente. Multitasking para tarefas que necessitem de capacidade cognitiva não existe! O que acontece é o teu cérebro mudar o foco de uma coisa para a outra, fazendo com que não te foques a 100% em nenhuma das coisas. 4. Excesso de Processamento: Combater o perfecionismo. mini grocery hall🛍️🫖🍱🍇 Since completing my 3 day fast, I’ve been on a tea craze, naturally, since it’s all I drank for a moment 🤣 Bought some new goodies to try, as well as Nori and spring roll wraps because why not! Saw an interesting post on sushi-inspired creations, so we’re gonna give it a shot this week to spice the meals up :) swapped green grapes and regular carrots for the their dark colored variety - a specific pigment giving foods their blue and purple hues are associated with antioxidants that work directly on repairing cellular damage in the 🧠! 🩷💜💙 another reason to eat all the colors in the rainbow ;) PS: friendly reminder to wash your produce, especially grapes!! Wellness lately~ Finished my current round of therapy after ~2 years because regardless of how physically fit you might be, if you’re not taking care of your mind, there’s no way you can be “well”, although I still need reminders to tone down my perfectionism and get by with a little (read a lot) help from my friends 🩷 Been getting back into my regular @coreflexpilates routine + trying out new & old workouts that I thought I didn’t like (surprise! I don’t hate barre)- it’s good to keep your body guessing + good for your 🧠 to switch things up Got through a whole wisdom 🦷 episode but still managed to get walks in in my favorite places; my 🤍 for la carretera de las aguas remains unscathed as does my love for merluza and the best gf pizza in london. But I’ve primarily been getting a lot of peace, joy and wellbeing from the little things including being able to finally wear my @palomapalami even if briefly 🌞
