The wound has now 98% (finally!) closed up but we keep it wrapped outside the house to ensure it’s kept dry and clean until it’s 100% closed. He can slowly retuned back to normal activities now!! Today I added another F'n diagnosis to my collection. Along with all of my other conditions, I also have Functional Neurological Disorder, or FND. FND is caused by a problem with the functioning of the nervous system. It's like a “software” issue of the brain which is glitching, and not the hardware (as in stroke or MS). For the last few years, I have felt that there was always something else that was yet to be diagnosed, and with the recent worsening of my mobility with tremors in my leg and drop foot while walking, it was good to finally get some answers. April is also FND Awareness Month, so if like me you don't know alot, or have no idea about FND, I encourage you to learn more about this rare disease 🧡 Also, I knew I found the right neurologist when she asked me where I got my amazing pants from, and when I told her that it was from @proudpoppyclothing she immediately wrote it down in her diary! 🩵Ain't it funny how life changes🩵 Its been a while! Being a mama has taken up the majority of my time, and I wouldn't change it for the world! The joy it brings me is indescribable! I've officially semi-retired Holly after 5 dedicated years of working for me! She still works every now and then and definitely still enjoys it, but I just don't need her as much as I used to as im learning to manage my ever changing laundry list of medical issues. Usually, I'm always accompanied by someone whenever I'm out running errands so she's been enjoying being a big sister and taking it easy. I may pull her out of semi-retirement later in down the road but for now she's very happy. Big changes have happened for us and we are so excited to see what the future holds including finally getting my autism assessment, planning our wedding and watching my son grow🌻 For now I'm quietly closing the account as social media isn't a huge thing for me anymore. J'ai été diagnostiquée à mes huit ans, même si cela faisait déjà depuis mes quatre ans que j'avais des tics, et je me souviens que la première chose que j'ai demandé au médecin après qu'il ait posé le diagnostique était: "Alors je ne suis pas folle?" Non Lael, tu n'es pas folle. Ton corps te joue souvent des tours, tu es souvent incapable de te contrôler, mais ça va s'arranger. Tu es en sécurité. Had a rheumatology appointment last week. . I stopped my methotrexate a few months back as after 2 years +, I had enough of the side effects, the sickness, nausea, fatigue and hair loss 🙈. .
