📚 Avis lecture 📖 Hello, Hello, Aujourd’hui, nous partons à l’université pour découvrir le tome 1 des Off-Campus - The Deal écrit par Elle Kennedy. 🌻 Résumé : Garrett, star de l’équipe de hockey risque de perdre sa place si sa note en philo ne remonte pas. Hannah, brillante élève excelle en cours mais ses interactions sociales laissent à désirer ... Ce qui l’empêche de séduire le quaterback de l’équipe de football. Il peut la faire devenir populaire, elle peut l’aider à étudier. Un deal est passé. Mais à quel prix ? 🌻 J’ai commencé à lire Briar University lorsque l’on m’a dit qu’il était préférable de lire la saga des off-campus d’abord. Une amie m’a prêté le livre et me voilà à suivre les aventures de Garrett et d’Hannah alias Wellsy. J’aime beaucoup les histoires qui se passent à l’université. Je n’ai pas eu de mal à m’immerger dans celle de nos deux protagonistes. Les personnages secondaires m’ont laissé assez perplexe. Pour l’instant. 🌻 Hannah est une jeune femme touchante, qui a un lourd passé et qui doit malheureusement vivre avec. Elle est courageuse, elle se bat pour ses convictions et excelle en cours mais également dans le domaine musicale. Garrett quant à lui est le cliché type du joueur de hockey, star de l’équipe et de l’université. Je ne m’attendais pas à grand chose et pourtant, son histoire m’a touché. Triste, réaliste, on a mal au cœur pour le garçon qu’il était et ce qu’il a vécu. Les deux sont très différents et leur évolution se fait tout au long du livre 🌻 Je connaissais déjà un peu la plume de l’autrice et elle est toujours agréable à lire. Sans chichis, fluide, j’ai passé un bon moment. Ce n’est pas le livre du siècle mais il permet de se détendre après une journée bien chargée. C’est tout ce que je demandais. 💙 SUNDAY STACK 💙 I re-read 3 books of the Off Campus series before starting ACOWAR (I read the Briar U series in 2023, 8 years after reading the prequel 🫣). Un chico que puede parecer algo superficial, pero que, en realidad tiene más profundidad y un corazón de oro que no le cabe en el pecho. Y Hannah es maravillosa: divertida, vivaz, leal... ES QUE LOS AMO A pesar de ser una historia donde el punto cómico es lo primordial, la autora también trata 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘀. This is my first book by Elle Kennedy and I loved it. The Deal was such a fun read. I immediately got sucked in. Garrett and Hannah were instantly likeable. The chemistry, banter, and tension between these two was perfect. The development of their relationship was refreshing as well. I loved that it wasn’t an insta-love connection. This book was more than just a romance, but also a healing journey for the two main characters. This book does touch on some heavy topics, so please check TW. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ + ❤️ Livro: O Acordo Autor: @ellekennedy33 Editora: @editoraparalela Páginas: 357 Se você quer uma comédia romântica fácil de ler, que te fará gargalhar, “O Acordo” é a melhor escolha. E se você está de ressaca literária esse é o livro que irá te tirar dela. Sua escrita fluida, leve e engraçada é exatamente o que você precisa. Mas isso não significa que ele é uma leitura fácil para todos, já que alguns dos assuntos trabalhados podem ser gatilhos para muitas pessoas, pois o enredo da personagem gira em superar traumas do Estrup@ que ela sofreu. Mas a forma leve que a autora trabalhou esse tema tão sensível é exatamente uma das coisas que eu mais amo nesse livro. Elle Kennedy deixa muito claro o quanto foi necessário para Hannah ter tido uma rede de apoio e o quanto a ajudou o seu tratamento com a psicóloga. E isso é ressaltado inúmeras vezes, deixando bem claro que nenhum dos seus traumas vai ser “solucionado” milagrosamente pelo seu par romântico. A história começa com Hannah Wells encontrando alguém que a interessa, mas a sua autoconfiante quando o assunto é relacionamento é nula e para sair da sua zona de conforto ela vai ter a ajuda de Garrett Graham, o capitão do time de hóquei, que precisa de Hannah para dar aulas particulares para ele, porque suas notas estão colocando em risco o seu lugar dentro do ringue de hóquei. Mas essa troca de favores vai acabar se tornando bem mais do que eles esperavam. Garrett tem exatamente a personalidade que nós imaginamos para um atleta popular, ele tem confiança para dar e vender, é sincero até demais, e em muitos momentos ele tem falas machistas. Mas não tem como imaginar um garoto popular de uma universidade americana de outra forma. Entretanto, com o desenvolvimento que a autora dá a ele, você percebe que ele não é só isso. Com tudo o que ele viu sua mãe passar nas mãos do seu pai e o que ele mesmo passou, não teria ninguém que entenderia e apoiaria tão facilmente Hannah quanto ele. Garrett e Hannah são o tipo de pessoas que fariam de tudo para ajudar e defender aqueles que amam e por isso a conexão deles é incrível. The Deal is the first book of the Off-Campus Series and personally my most favourite one, Garrett Graham is one of the greatest hockey player in the fictional world of hockey players and every girl's dream boyfriend, Hannah Wells is the bestie we all deserve, has a heart of gold and sings like an angel. Graham and Wellsy have the most epic story and almost every scene had me laughing my ass off, they had me hooked on from beginning to end and I know they'd have the same effect on you too. Le pagine non sono moltissime in effetti. Questo libro mi era passato davanti migliaia di volte ma non l’avevo mai voluto leggere perché la copertina era brutta. In realtà mi è piaciuto. La protagonista è #hannahwells o #wellsy vittima di stupro che cerca di superare i traumi del passato anche grazie a #garretgraham giocatore di #hockey e vittima delle violenze del padre. Leggendola così la trama in effetti spaventa un po’, ma queste tematiche così importanti vengono raccontate con una leggerezza unica, senza però sminuirne il peso. El desarrollo como pareja fue bueno, como poco a poco Sabrina daba pasitos y confiaba más en Tuck fue lindo, pero siendo sincera, a veces me llegaba a estresar lo lento que iba, entiendo que Sabrina sufrió decepciones, pero fue frustrante sentir que Tuck daba todo y tenia mucha paciencia y ella no cedia o no daba lo mismo, pese a quererlo. Siento que lo que Sabrina necesitaba era alguien con quien hablar, me hubiese gustado ver más desarrollo en su personalidad como el que logre más seguridad en sí misma. Otra cosa que me hubiese encantado es que le diera a Tucker la oportunidad de ser escuchado, siento que el se apartaba para darle espacio y era peor, incluyo con Jamie siento que no fue tomado en serio por ciertas inseguridades y miedos de Sabrina. Este libro siento que me quede con el "Me hubiese encantado...", literal necesitaba más apoyo del grupo de amigos de Tucker, que su madre no fuera tan cruel con Sabrina, que Ray obtenga su merecido, que se cuente más sobre Sabrina en Harvard... 🎤The Deal🏒 This was one of the first books I read when I got into reading, so this book will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s just such an amazing book. I loved how Hannah didn’t put up with any of Garret’s antics. When they were together they were just sweethearts 🥺. I loved that Hannah’s trauma wasn’t brushed over at all and Garrett actually tried to help her work through it. And don’t even get me started on his hands-off rule✋🏻. This is still one of my favorite books to this day so I definitely recommend!! XO

Termine enamorada de ambos, la dinámica de como no tienen relación al principio y van paso a paso cambiando, también sus sentimientos. Es un plus la relación de Dean con sus pequeños y Dakota. Me hubiese gustado más interacción con los padres de Dean y mucho más de Beau. Lo que no me convenció fue el tiempo solitario de Allie, me hubiese gustado más enfoque a cómo se sintió, tambien, un enfoque en Dean y las charlas que tuvo con todos, me quede curiosa sobre su charla con Joanna; me hubiese encantado ver un cambio en la personalidad y prejuicios del padre de Allie, siento que fue muy cruel y no acepto a Dean pese a que el se esforzaba y arreglo y siguió adelante tras su pérdida y por ultimo, más interaccion con los amigos de Allie.
