Baked oats 🥣👩🏼‍🍳 Packed with nutrients and a whole lot of yummy goodness. ☺️ Ingredients 🌻 200g oats 2 bananas 🍌 60g flour (plain, chickpea, oat) *Optional 1 scoop @gardenoflife_uk plant based chocolate protein powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 40g walnuts 1 teaspoon cinnamon 400ml milk ( I used soya for a plant based protein hit) *Optional 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup White and dark chocolate broken into bite size chunks (I didn’t weigh this, just used as much as I thought would make it even more yummy ☺️) Method Pop all your ingredients into a greased or lined oven proof dish ( Remember to grease it! In my opinion it’s truly the best way to eat bananas! Imagine the sweetness, the flavours… The bananas are- of course- the star of this recipe and take this chocolate porridge to a whole new level of deliciousness <3 I N G R E D I E N T S: 🤎230ml liquid (half water, half plant milk) 🤎50g oats 🤎1tbsp cocoa powder 🤎a pinch of salt 🤎1tsp maple sirup 🤎banana 🤎coconut oil 🤎a dash of cinnamon 🤎maple sirup Combine all the ingredients for the porridge (except for the sirup) in a small pot and bring it up to a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer with the lid on, stirring every minute. In the meantime let some coconut oil melt in a small pan. Add a dash of cinnamon and maple sirup before putting in the banana slices. Let the banana fry on medium high heat for approximately five minutes. Once the porridge thickens up, take it off the heat and mix in the sweetener. Then serve it immediately with the caramelized banana, nut butter and dark chocolate. Banana Bread Overnight Oats Ingredients: 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 ripe banana, mashed 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (optional) Sliced banana and extra walnuts for topping (optional) Directions: In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the oats, almond milk, mashed banana, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
