😁Er komen al wat inschrijvingen binnen, hoe leuk is dat! Als ik mijn kennis kan delen, daarmee andere mensen helpen patronen en overtuigingen te doorbreken, wordt ik daar erg blij van. En volgens mijn Human Design (generator) moet ik vooral dingen doen waar ik blij van wordt. Goed idee!! Ken je trouwens Human Design? Ik werk ermee in mijn 1 op 1 trajecten. Voor beter inzicht qua communicatie, begeleiding, voeding, sporten. Even terug naar mijn programma, De Knop Om, Fit in 6 Weken. Daarin leer ik de deelnemers o.a. wat gezonde voeding nou eigenlijk is. Vaak anders dan wat ze denken. Ik leg uit hoe je snel en makkelijk goede maaltijden kunt samenstellen, hoe je efficiënt kunt trainen en nog meer. Er zijn namelijk manieren waarop je het jezelf erg makkelijk kunt maken, die je zelf niet ziet. En dan ontstaat resultaat. 💯Een deelnemer is 9 kg afgevallen, een ander 7, weer een ander strakker in haar vel en kan haar gewenste maat broek weer aan. 🧐Er gaat best veel mis als het gaat om pogingen doen om af te vallen. Ik hoor zo vaak ‘ik let echt op eten, ben al minder gaan eten, toch val ik niet af en blijf trek houden’ Dan ga ik er eens even induiken en blijkt dat er toch eea niet goed gaat. Laten we eens een dag nemen van een gemiddelde man die ik spreek en op zijn voeding let: 7:30 bak kwark met fruit 10:00 een appel 12:30 2 tot 4 boterhammen met kaas, kip, vlees. 1 met zoet 16:00 een banaan en een cup a soup 18:00 avond eten, gevarieerd (pasta, rijst, aardappel, groenten, vlees) 20:00 bakje yoghurt met fruit of toastje met kaas of koekje Een paar kleine aanpassingen, andere keuzes en ineens gaat deze man wel resultaat halen en verliest gewicht. ➡️Wat denk jij dat hier mis gaat en waardoor deze man blijft hangen in zijn gewicht?

This eating pattern is sustainable and able to create adherence to my lifestyle. As I don't eat any fancy meals. One slide I forgot to add and was too lazy to create again was on supplement one. Usually, I get very difficult to create a meal with perfect micronutrients as it gets a lot hectic in our day-to-day lives. So for simplicity, I have them in supplement form 1. Multivitamin for my daily micronutrient needs 2. Magnesium I Usually have high stress I sweat a lot and eat high carbs so I supplement with Magnesium. 3. Vitamin d3 2000 iu daily dosages to keep deficiencies at optimal 4. Omega 3 for better heart health and cognition They can fill 90% of my micronutrient needs which is more than enough for high-functioning individuals And no I don't recommend them to everyone as everyone is different and it's up to their personal preference. Daarom vinden velen sporten in de sportschool niet leuk: niet weten wat te doen en steeds hetzelfde doen. 💪Je hebt vast al vaker gehoor dat krachttraining belangrijk is als we ouder worden. Dat is om vele redenen, o.a. lang fit zijn en daardoor lang voor jezelf kunnen zorgen ipv afhankelijk te worden van anderen. Maar hé, het zorgt er ook voor dat je meer spiermassa hebt, en meer kunt eten…😉 De meeste gaan naar de sportschool, maar eenmaal binnen gebeurd er niet veel. Even op de loopband, beetje cross trainer. Vervolgens machines, iedere week zelfde gewicht, 12 herhalingen 3 sets. Dit is best wel saai, eigenlijk logisch dat het niet leuk is. Maar ja, als je niet weet wat te doen is dat het makkelijkste. Merk je nou dat je eigenlijk wel wat krachttraining kan gebruiken, duik er eens in. Kijk eens hoe je het leuk kunt maken, vraag een proffesional met je mee te kijken en een mooi programma voor je te maken. Welk doel je ook hebt. In de trajecten met mijn cliënten maak ik een aangepast trainingsprogramma. 🤓 Ik wil weten hoe de sportschool eruit ziet, welke mogelijkheden, hoe vaak ga je, etc. Daar bereken ik het volume, het totale werk op. ➡️Dit zorgt voor resultaat als ze consistent het programma volgen. Het is gewoon minder leuk de gym in te lopen en niet weten wat je moet doen. Hulp nodig? Dan ben ik er voor je met mijn dik 30 jaar ervaring. 😉

What a great day it is today! • Took my 88 yr old mom yesterday for her hip replacement surgery, which went great according to the surgeon. • Spent the rest of the day with my dad, out for lunch, reno’s to their closets, watched tv, laughed, talked and ate dinner with him before coming home. • Started today off with Cold plunging in the Pool!! Thats what you get when you open it in April! • Phone call to Mom, she’s obviously just fine, because she was back to complaining about nothing, and worrying about everything, lmao. On the left was me in 2022. I was training with @bcharest_fit for a few months and was really struggling with my dietary habits and my workouts. I also was working at my job that I did like, but since it was a smaller firm, every tiny little thing was scrutinized. I wasn’t making much, but it was better than the previous law firm where they scrutinized EVERYTHING about me: clearing my throat, mumbling to myself, sighing too much, claiming I went to the restroom too much, etc. But, I slowly pushed forward. Fast forward to yesterday to me on the right – I was exhausted from my three workouts the day prior (I did my normal workout; did circuit training with a couple personal trainers at @anytimeuptown and then went to Mark’s C2 yoga class at CorePower since I haven’t been to his class and it was the only time I could go). Even though I was exhausted and I worked my opening shift at @updownmpls, I did my leg workout. It was not my best, but I did it. And what did I eat for dinner? An organic Mediterranean tuna salad – it was amazing. I am at a job I do love (my coworkers do drive me nuts at times, but that’s normal) and making close to where I should be in my life; I’m sleeping much better and I do feel infinitely happier and much more confident than I ever been. I love that I am smashing my goals, so I’m making bigger goals that I know I will surpass. I know I am a different Allen than I was two years ago, but isn’t it what you should do in your life? And she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes almost 20 years ago and stopped regularly working out during the pandemic. When she noticed she was worn out all the time recently, she knew it was a bad sign. She lives with her parents, including her diabetic 82-year-old father, and is acutely aware of the dangers of letting the condition go unchecked. Reshma points out that South Asians have a higher likelihood of developing the disease, even among those who have always been of average weight, like Reshma. People of South Asian descent, which includes countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives, are also at greater risk for heart disease. Exercise helps mitigate risk and symptoms of many common, chronic illnesses, as well as stress. After the new year started, Reshma rediscovered the drive to start regular workouts again. “Endurance was the main thing,” she says. “I knew I shouldn’t be so tired all the time.” In February, she called Alloy Personal Training in Peachtree Corners, where she lives.
