Foods for today. Definitely a high carb day. Breakfast - scrambled eggs with toast Lunch - leftover chicken fajitas with rice Dinner - grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Didn’t eat it all cuz it was fricken huge and the fries were too salty. Dessert - halo chocolate cheesecake bar. Great macros and tasted good!! Second was a drumstick. Don’t ask me why I ate it, I just did. Definitely not mindful eating. 9 REASONS WHY you should follow a meal plan instead of just macros. Read below👇 1. Digestion - eating foods you know work with your body at certain times of the day promotes good digestion. 2. Performance - if your digestion is good you will perform better in the gym. More gains!! 💪 Also meal timing (carb timing) helps with performance too. 3. No Thinking - You do not waste time wondering what you are going to eat or what fits in your macros. 4. Stupid Simple Meal Prep - The easier your plan is to follow the more likely you are to stick to it. 5. Food Focus - If we have to think about what to eat or what we can fit into our macros it creates food focus which can hold you back mentally and cause extra stress/anxiety. 6. Accuracy - You will always hit your macros dead on. No one or two grams over or under on any macro nutrient when following a meal plan. 7. Consistency- You are less likely to see the scale jump up or down. Keeping your foods the same (&sodium&water) will help with tracking progress. 8. Avoid thinking about calories - Sometimes the amount of calories someone is eating can screw with their head. Whether that amount is “low” or “high” might change their mindset. If you do not think about how many calories you are consuming and instead just view it as food increases or decreases this is less likely to happen. 9. MOST IMPORTANT- If you want to be the best look at those who are at the top. A majority of Olympians follow a meal plan especially in prep. If you want to win your show, do well in bodybuilding or lose body fat while maintaining muscle do not make the mistake of thinking you are the exception. Look at the greats and adopt their habits. P.S. - I had an early workout so my meals were swapped around a bit but I got everything in 👍 ALSO I only drink 8L of water a day. A little typo. Und zack, letzter Tag bei der Tagesmutter @tamu_kleineweltentdecker! Den muss man einfach zauberhaft schokoladig feiern. Ab Freitag ist meine große Kleine ein Kindergartenkind und geht mit ihrer großen Schwester in den KiGa 🥰🙈🦋 ________________________ Saftige und extrem schokoladige Schokomuffins mit Öl, Kakao und Schokostückchen, für meine kleine Schokoschnute. Das leckerste Schokomuffin-Rezept, dass ich je gebacken habe 🤤 Der Rest der Schokolade wurde fix zu "Feen-Schokolade" verarbeitet (Bild 3) 😄 Zutaten (12 Stück): - 250 g Weizenmehl - 140 g Zucker - 50 g Backkakao - 175 ml Milch - 100 ml Rapsöl oder Sonnenblumenöl - 2 Eier - 1 Pck. Vanillezucker - 2 gestr. TL Backpulver - 1 Prise Salz - 200 g Zartbitter-Schokolade in Stückchen - Deko (Streusel, etc.) Zubereitung: Eier, Milch und Öl zusammen mit dem Zucker und Vanillezucker leicht schaumig rühren (Schneebesen/ Rührgerät). Mehl, Backkakao, Backpulver und Salz dazu geben und so lange rühren, bis ein geschmeidiger Teig entsteht. Die Hälfte der Schokostückchen unterrühren. Gleichmäßig auf 12 Muffinförmchen verteilen und für 20 - 25 Minuten bei 160°C Umluft in den Backofen schieben (Stäbchenprobe mit Zahnstocher, wenn nichts mehr kleben bleibt sind sie fertig).
